I qualify as a Whovian. My favorite is Jon Pertwee, but Matt Smith makes a close second.

Clara is the best companion in ages, second would be Amy and Rory. But I rather think River Song is the best irregular regular.

So not many doctor who fan on board it seems :/. I am on the 10th doc right now. Just got into it this year. I still think Christopher Eccelston has been the best doc maybe Tennant will grow on me though...

Grew up watching the older doctors. Gave me nightmares from time to time. Although it's almost anti-religion (I mean who needs religion when there are practically all-powerful aliens in the multi-verse?) it is my favorite sy-fy entertainment. I unabashedly have 79 episodes saved on my DVR, atm... Good thing I upgraded to the genie!

I am a Doctor Who fan. I am a fan of Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Christopher Eccleston, and David Tennant. I am looking forward to Peter Capaldi as the Doctor.

I'm a late-comer to Dr. Who, just getting into it with Matt Smith's doctor, though I have caught a few repeats with some of the other Doctors. I too can't wait for Peter Capaldi's doctor!

I've been a fan for decades. My daughter is also a Whovian as is my fiancee! It's too hard to pick favorites, I'm excited for this season to start and I'm glad Jenna-Louise filmed a whole season with Capaldi prior to her leaving this Christmas.

Doctor Who is an awesome show. My favorites are 10 and 11. Favorite companions are too many to mention. My dream is to watch all of the show one day but I realize how long that will take lol

I'm a fan of Tennant. I'm looking forward to seeing how Capaldi will be as the Doctor. I've really enjoyed the show in general though.

I've changed my alleged mind. My favorite Doctor is Matt Smith, but Peter Capaldi is rapidly gaining. It was time for a Doctor that strikes me as being older than a comfortable pair of socks.

I must admit I haven't seen episodes of many of the Doctors. I need to investigate getting some older series.

I've just started getting into Dr Who...and they are bringing back the first doctor but they are casting David Bradley (Argus Filch) and geez you wouldn't tell the difference between him and Billy Hartnell!
Shame that so many of the episodes were lost though.

True. It's sad. I had to watch the fourth serial (Marco Polo) as a reconstruction made entirely of stills and a few animated maps. And yet it was still fun. A testament to the power of Doctor Who

My partner and I just watched that! It was a lot of fun and they did a brilliant job!

So was anyone able to see the remade version of Shada? I did on the weekend and it was brilliant! They really did a great job especially at the end with Tom Baker appearing in the TARDIS

I do recommend seeing it...It was really well done.

Did anyone watch the Christmas special?? I heard it was quite good.

My roommate and I bought it through Amazon Prime. It was good!
