Do you like to read? If so, what are you reading right now?

Do you read just for the sake of reading? Or do you read for the purpose of learning something?

What kinds of things do you like to read most of the time?

Is there anything you refuse to read?

I'm reading four books right now:

Mountains Beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder
The Enemy Within by John Demos
The Idiots Guide to Hinduism by Linda Johnsen
Asperger Syndrome and Anxiety by Nick Duben

Stranger at the Gate is a remarkable book with a incredibly talented and passionate preacher and prophet. I met Mel White when he was preaching at West Hollywood UCC a few weeks ago. Mel got married at my church, All Saints Pasadena with his wonderful partner Gary Nixon.

Aaah, that had to be really amazing! To both meet him and have him married at your church! :D

Currently, I'm reading "The Big Fat Surprise: Why Butter, Meat, and
Cheese Belong in a Healthy Diet
".

I don't know if I'll finish it before I have to return it to the library (it has
quite a waiting-list!), but just the few pages I've covered have been
interesting.
