well thank you for explaining, your right context I was taught that.

Can I say it is a joy conversing with you. You are very through and always give references. I have not found you to preach against God's word, and you have been gracious to me in-spite of my difficulties.

thank you:)

I'm just glad I could help.

Thank you again for overlooking my shortcomings.

God Bless

Till all are one.

most of what I desire i hate, if given the choice i would never fall to desire. i would free my body from sin because I hate being this close to it and I would leave this world. It was not in me of my self to hate sin, or petty self indulgent desires, but being born of spirit God is shaping me in His image so i now Hate those things i once turned to. I was willing to be changed, my choice, and God has been changing me, something I have nothing to do with.

Why are you willing to change when so many others are not?

God's work in me. i chose God the others that won't change have not. I was given a choice this world or God. I was told God would Love me forever I wanted Love, His Love, Forever, God brought forth Good from the evil that was being done to me.

So God did a special work in you that He doesn't do in everyone?

Not sure how to explain it, evil was used to bring me to God, or should I say allowed. He has Yes done a special work in me, but what brought me to Him, was hearing His word. I had no one, but i remember hearing God wanted me, He wanted to be there for me. I did not know passages, i knew what Jesus did, I was told He loved me, but I did not know if it was true. I took a leap of Faith jumped of the cliff to God. Some people go through the same thing and never make the Leap, They Had the same chance, they just don't.

This is where we will find similarities. I believe those who come to God do so because they were from God in the first place, and those that don't never were, but I believe those from God and those from satan were given the same chances to come to God or chose evil. A dog may run away but it comes back home because that is its home. A pig returns to the filth, Jesus said.

Special work in me not done in others i can not say, but He is my home. :)

That was all over the place. I have no idea what your point was exactly.

As Jesus would say, you're all wrong...lolol...bad joke.
Seriously, the best way to reconcile is to adequately clarify each term or concept.
God predetermined humanity as a whole toward salvation...contingent on individual choice...

So what about those who've never heard the gospel?

Here is a thought, but I don't know if it applies to Calvinism vs Arminianism: God has entrusted the ministry of reconciliation to the Church (2 Corinthians 5), that is, the Church has the responsibility of reaching those who have never heard the Gospel. There are over 6 billion people in the world and about 2 billion identify themselves as Christians. If each Christian would share with three people then everyone will have heard the Gospel (in theory, of course). Their response would then be on them, unless you are a Calvinist, which then it would rely on God's choosing (but either way, Christians would have fulfilled the great commission).

That would be cool.

As a Calvinist I heartily endorse this idea, but would also go further and call us to preach the Gospel at all times whether in our deed or vociferously in our conversations, our tongues should just be dripping with the sweet honey of it, there is nothing greater nor sweeter and no other means by which the Holy Spirit is building the Church and conforming her to Christ.

The problem that most of us face is the fact that out of the 2 billion people who are classed as being Christian, the reality is that a small percentage of those actually are. We Christians become quite complacent in living in a "Christian" society so that we don't share the Gospel with anyone at all. Even when Christians go on "short-term missions" they do not share the Gospel with the other people because they do not speak the other language. Instead, they engage in some form of good works with the idea that the works will witness for them. I am not denigrating doing good things, but am denigrating the notion that our good works can take the place of preaching the gospel, making disciples, and baptizing them, as we have been commanded to do.

It's simple

Does the Bible teach that Christ's purpose and intention in dying was to infallibly secure the salvation of all those the Father entrusted to him, also known as "His sheep" and "His people"? (LIMITED ATONEMENT)

Conclusion: The Bible teaches Calvinism.

John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life."

This verse does not say that whoever God predestined would not perish, but it says whoever believes in Jesus.

God loves the whole world IOW all mankind, He would not be so heartless as to say "whosoever" then preselect some to be saved, and others to be lost.

So why does God send people to Hell that He loves soooooo much?

God does not send people to Hell, they themselves choose that path by rejecting His love.

You should read Matt 25. And the last few chapters of Revelation.
