This,

I did tell you once and won't again and will tell you this, only me and the LORD God know for sure and me telling you, would not make you know for sure.

You are speaking nonsense. I do not need to know for sure about you personally being saved. I am trying to show you the truth. You need to be able to answer questions. You are trying to convince me that my beliefs are wrong. So then, answer the question…does Jesus himself live inside believers?

Gibs,

Answer the question.

Does Jesus HIMSELF live in believers?

Well This, don't you know, yes of course, it as Paul states and He does dwell in me, He is the Comforter also known as The Spirit of Truth.

Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Col 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
Col 1:29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

But it is believers that are fully broken upon Him the Rock and not a whit held back, all is surrendered. We are either Wholly Thine or we will be none of His.

He is a jealous Bridegroom and we must come to the same as He stated, "The evil one hath nothing in me." If he does then he is another master in you!

The reason being is because if we are not wholly His then we have reserved another master and most of the time, that culprit is self. Self must be kept down and crucified. Just read all of Romans 6:

Ah, now that wonderful Spirit of Truth,

Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

I see talk of the Giants for the bully men in Gen 6:4 and here is the meaning of the word as given by it running the Hebrew with it as I do,

5303. n@phiyl

lypn n@phiyl nef-eel'
or nphil {nef-eel'}; from 5307; properly, a feller, i.e. a bully or tyrant:--giant.

See Hebrew 5307

What's this fuss all about anyway? Why do you fault that? Ever hear of straining at a gnat? You won't run on to any as God saw to that. David done one in with a stone and his sling shot! Really more than one.

No one has to give answers on a forum. It is rude to badger anyone.
Everyone has freedom to say or not say whatever they want about their salvation.
Let everyone work out their own salvation with fear and trembling.

I care very little about your judgment of me.

I answered his questions, and he should answer mine.

I am trying to help him see the truth.

Now, don't badger me with your put downs.

Now you are straining at a gnat and you know that I believe Jesus is fully God dwelling in His body, read,

Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

So fully yes, He was fully God in His body! Sure and yes God is a Spirit, read,

Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him MUST worship him in spirit and in truth.

And if you don't know it, I am not a Trinitarian believer and I think you are so you would see this question different than I.

Joh 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

this has always baffled me, if Jesus isn't God a the trinity would have it, who do people think Jesus is...

This verse should clear it up for them,

Heb 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

A little more substantiation.

Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
Col 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

I am NOT straining a gnat. I am speaking what the Word of God says.

Jesus IS GOD. Jesus IS THE HOLY SPIRIT.

There ARE THREE, and the three are One and the SAME.

Jesus IS GOD. Jesus IS THE HOLY SPIRIT.

There ARE THREE, and the three are One and the SAME.

Then you are not a Trinitarian but when you say Jesus is the Holy Spirit you are denying that. God the Father is the Holy Spirit that dwells in Christ!

Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Joh 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Yes you are straining at a gnat and if you want to get it down to precise I can do that but for your straining I would have probably run with it.

I do want to ask you, do you consider yourself a Trinitarian? You do know that 1 means one and stands alone and is not three!

He does represent Himself to us as Himself and by His Spirit which He is but can come to us and not consume us as would be in His Presence and He represents Himself to us through Jesus Christ.

It is only by knowing Christ that we can know God.

Joh 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Let it go. I am only into God’s Truth.

Trinitarians believe that God is One, so that is what they say. However, they also say that Jesus is NOT God the Father, or the Holy Spirit. They say that God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit are DIFFERENT, and DISTINCT. They are NOT different and distinct. Making them different and distinct makes a three-headed God, and that is NOT biblical.
He does represent Himself to us as Himself and by His Spirit which He is but can come to us and not consume us as would be in His Presence and He represents Himself to us through Jesus Christ.

It is only by knowing Christ that we can know God.
Think more about what I say, for we probably have the same beliefs. I say Jesus is God the Father, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus is God the Father come in the flesh.
There is ONLY ONE GOD, and HE IS THE FATHER. If Jesus is God (and he is), then he is ALSO THE FATHER, and the Holy Spirit.
See 1 Corinthians 8:6, and Ephesians 4:6.

OK, thanks for letting me know you are not a Trinitarian and I cannot agree with you of Jesus Christ being the Father.

Yes the Father came and dwelt in Jesus and He makes that clear in those verses I posted,

Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Joh 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: ]but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

He dwells in us too but not in FULL measure as in Christ,

Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Col 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

The Father had to make a union with a man as it had to a man and not God to overcome Satan. And He did that taking no power but what is ours to do so.

He never reached within and used the Deity vested in Him but like we must do He allowed only the Father's Spirit in His soul temple to be the one and ONLY master in His Soul Temple!

You can know that Satan knew He wasn't in a battle with God or he would have never tried as He was defeated in Heaven by God and knew of His Power.

We can know that Satan monitored this closely as if Christ had of used the Power of God vested in Him He, Christ would have lost the contest by default!

Now if it could have been God to overcome Satan He would have done that immediately after the fall.

It had to be the ruler of earth must be a man to wrest it back from Satan and so in the earth made new Christ will be the second Adam and our King!

Jesus was baptized with power.
Luke 4:14 [ Jesus Rejected at Nazareth ] Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside.
Luke 4:36 All the people were amazed and said to each other, “What words these are! With authority and power he gives orders to impure spirits and they come out!”
Luke 5:17 [ Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralyzed Man ] One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there. They had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick.
Luke 6:19 and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all.

Luke 8:46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.”
He never reached within and used the Deity vested in Him but like we must do He allowed only the Father's Spirit in His soul temple to be the one and ONLY master in His Soul Temple!
Jesus is God in the flesh.
Our blood does not take away the sins of the world---Jesus’ blood does that.

You are adding your own human reasoning.

Yes of course Philip should have see the Father in Jesus as the Father came and dwelt in Him Bodily!

Yes Jesus had the power of God, as a matter of fact He is to reign supremely until all things are under His feet.
At times He spoke as a man that He was and at times as God as God was in Him fully bodily. He was God the Father dwelling in a body of Flesh.

Ga 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

He was a born entity and the Father is not! But Yes the Father came and dwelt in Him fully!

Now I want to ask you, was it God that over came Satan or was it Jesus Christ the man.

If you say God, then why this thing of God bearing a son made of a woman which is one of us, a man child.

Re 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

This thread is about what non-trinitarians believe. So the thoughts may vary quite a bit.
Three has always meant three to me. Unity of purpose.
That because God gave a Son, and also sends the Holy Ghost as His Son returned to heaven, in the body. Jesus said as we saw him go He would come again.
Our resurrected body will be like His.
Family is God's plan, not ours.

Norah63,

I will sure be glad to dwell in a wonderful perfect body as even as a baby I barely made it and only by His keeping have I now reached close now to 83 yrs.

Also we will be sons and daughters with Him to the Father.

2Co 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
Ga 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
