Besides from different anatomy, I think it really comes down to the difference between people more than men and women. I think it's safe to say for some things, women tend to be this way and men tend to be that way, but I don't think that one's biological sex has very much of a direct influence on their psychology. Cultural norms on how they should act as their sex, yes it has a big influence on psychology.

I have heard from a friend of mine who has a MA in Psychology that men and women perceive things differently. Women tend to take in a lot more and have a more expansive image of things. Ie: when meeting a person we will notice their hair, their outfit and the location in which we met them all in one image. Men, though, will be more focused. When meeting someone they tend to focus on one thing, so they'll picture the outfit or the hair or the location, but not really put it all together.

I also think there has to be other differences that are both inherent and social. Men and women are treated differently, so right there, we will usually develop differently socially and psychologically, social interactions and conditioning does actually change the brain physically. But there are also other life experiences that will / can influence the way we are. Women get periods once a month and have a very different fertility cycle than men, as, perhaps, one of the biggest differences. I can't say how that influences sex-differences, but I can't see how it can't... Most people I know who identify as trans-gender or as no-gender, tend to stop their periods (if a female). There must be a reason for that...

But there are also probably more similarities than we realise aswell. Both sexes exist in all of the personality types, for example. So an INFJ of whatever, will have certain characteristics, and behaviours regardless of whether or not they are male of female. But then again, me and my best friend are INFJs and both females, but we are still distinguishably different people... so there is also the individual level in all this...

Finally, for me,in this ongoing "war between the sexes" here are my conclusions:

1 Men and women will always be fundamentally different from each other.

2 God,as we should, consider them equally in importance in God's eyes.

3 God created each with a preference toward a unique task.

4 I never would want to live in a world with all men or all women.

In your opinion, what do you think are the differences between men and women?

Are there a lot? Are there few? How much is cultural, and how much is nature?

aside from biological? probably none. it's impossible to tell, because you can never prove or disprove entirely that a person's behavior is entirely the result of their gender. At best you can assume that if they were a different gender they might act differently than they do now, but what that would look like, I can't say.

So, A) There are no discernible differences and B) I object to the question because it assumes that human beings differ in an identifiable pattern along gender lines.

Such discussions usually leave people thinking, "Women are from Venus, Men are from Mars.... except for all the times when they're not."

Men can impregnate, but cannot give birth.

Women can give birth, but cannot impregnate.

Women have "periods."

Women lactate, men normally do not.

Men can more easily write our names in the snow with pee.

In general, men are larger.

In general, men have a higher percentage of lean body mass.

In general, pound for pound, men have greater upper body strength.

In general, men have more facial and body hair.

There are also sex-related aspects of lip size and lower jaw size, among other things.

There may also be differences in communication style, leadership style, negotiation style, problem-solving, and innumerable other things. But in those cases, it is exceedingly difficult to separate "intrinsic" from "assimilated."

None of the differences really place restrictions on the "roles" either sex can fill, especially in modern technological cultures.

An exercise that can be helpful(and difficult) is to define these words:

What is femininity?

What is masculinity?

They are nebulous and often unhelpful concepts that vary from one culture to another.

I make my grandma very angry because I can't tell her what X looked like, if they got a hair cut, what they were wearing, etc. I don't take in any of that stuff :p

I sometimes get weird looks about how much I tend to notice if I say anything about it.
