No. We can map out where the stars will be on a certain day in the future so it doesn't mean much when you take that into account. Then you can factor in the fact that they are usually ambiguous and tell you nothing about the future. If you make some prediction vague enough, people will find a way to make it connect.

The Horoscope is in the Comics and Games section of my newspaper. Dilbert is also in the Comics and Games section of my newspaper. I read Dilbert and the Horoscope almost every day and have found that Dilbert is much more accurate.

What is there to believe? It is science. What odd not to be believed about the study of foreign bodies in outer space?

This is the first I have heard of the controversy.

You should google astronomy and astrology and learn the difference.

Do you believe in horoscopes?

I did when I was a teenager, but I haven't for over two decades.

I became more skeptically minded, and asked myself if I really did have good reason to think that the planets could influence our fate. I realized that I had no good reasons at all to think that, and dropped my beliefs.

FWIW, the Chinese zodiac is more interesting. I was born in the Year of the Metal Rabbit. The influence of the metal element supposedly makes me very goal-oriented (which I was when younger) and decisive (not so much.) But also prone to worry and anxiety (not me.)

It's kinda fun to think about, but totally imaginary.

No.

I don't believe in any supernatural nonsense, be it astrology, santa, the bible, the quoran, or the tooth fairy.

I can understand a lack of a belief in a god, but only a fool would reject the existence of the tooth fairy. ;)

No. Same reason I don't believe in voodoo.

At one time, astrology was taken for granted in Christendom, many people didn't see a conflict with Christian belief. Henry VIII and Elizabeth I, for instance, all had astrologers advising them. People also believed plagues were caused by planets.

I, however, don't really believe in astrology
