I wonder why the KJperVersion doesn't capitalize the word "my" in this verse

There's a goofy site that has me "apparently believing" the following; and I want to set the record straight here:

1. At one point everyone in the world spoke English.

This is correct.

Just out of curiosity, if you didn't speak English as your first language, do you think you would still believe this? Or that the KJV1611 bible is the perfect version?

I think he means he's going to call me to task should I say something contradictory.

One of the biggest differences between just saying something and believing it, is that someone who is just making stuff up has to memorize what he said, else he will forget.

Someone who believes what he said doesn't necessarily have to memorize it ... it will come to him naturally.

I'm glad he's doing that.
Another words, true truth never contradicts it self.

Jhn 3:21
but he who is doing the truth doth come to the light, that his works may be manifested,
that in God they are having been wrought.

1Jo 2:21
I did not write to you because ye have not known the truth, but because ye have known it,
and because no lie is of the truth.

Excuse me while I set the record straight:

God did it.

The details can take a hike.

So if God caused evolution, then it wouldn't matter to you, because the details of how God does things doesn't matter.

Don't waste your time.

Evidence can take a hike.

Confirmation Bias

It's already been proven right.

Your problem is: you can't prove It wrong.

If something cannot be proven false, than it cannot be proven true. If I think that little fairies cause a flashlight to work, and when you show me the battery "well, the fairies eat battery acid". You can't prove me wrong, but I cannot prove myself right either.

We don't believe God ever left the earth without His words written down somewhere.

If Moses didn't have the book of Genesis ... who did?

Oral history.

There's a goofy site that has me "apparently believing" the following; and I want to set the record straight here:

1. At one point everyone in the world spoke English.

This is correct.

2. That the mention of unicorns, dragons and behemoths in the Bible poses a problem for evolution.

It poses a problem for evolutionists.

3. Cratering was the result of a battle between angels and demons.

This is correct.

4. Unicorns were aboard Noah's ark and gave birth to different species of animals.

This is correct; but they gave birth after they left the Ark.

5. Leprechauns exist as a manifestation of demons.

This is correct.

6. The Earth was the first planet in existence.

This is correct.

7. Peer reviewed articles on evolution should be disregarded because they weren't reviewed by Jesus.

I don't know where this comes from.

8. Human beings are not Homo sapiens.

This is somewhat correct. I claim I refuse to accept that I am a Homo sapiens. However I acknowledge that Homo sapiens is just a term on paper, and I respect the right of others to label themselves as such.

9. Nero persecuted Christians for reversing the Earth's poles.

That was a joke; as was my Noah's Ark being a submarine thread.

10. Pangaea was actually Eden.

This is correct.

11. The three main rock types are "indigenous, megamorphic, and sentimental."

That was a joke.

12. Noah lived in present-day New Jersey.

That is correct.

13. That the dictionary is wrong in defining Christianity as a religion.

I may have said that at one time, but I've since softened up on that. I claim that, just as weight occurs when gravity is resisted, religion occurs when Truth is resisted.

14. Religious wars never occurred.

I don't remember saying that.

15. "Evolution teaches a monkey gave birth to the first human."

This is correct.

16. Atheism is a polytheistic religion.

This is correct.

17. Strong's Concordance is "a tool of Satan."

This is correct.

18. People should be proud of their own ignorance.

This is correct.

19. Science is unreliable because of new discoveries.

This is correct.

20. Anything that contradicts the Bible is wrong by default, including real life.

This is correct.

1) It's already been discussed enough
2) Actually it doesn't. It's very likely the idea of unicorns and dragons came from people misinterpreting fossils. They didn't know what a dinosaur was in the middle ages.
3) Actually no, we can see craters on other planets and have actually seen asteroids cause craters. If you think this war caused that to occur, it's not falsifiable and therefore invalid.
4) I've already addressed unicorns. Also, if unicorns gave birth to another species, that would be evolution.
5) Not falsifiable
6) We can see stars that exist billions of light years away, which would only be possible if the universe was not billions of years old. We know that because we know exactly how fast light travels, and if we can see light and see that Alpha Centauri is closer than whatever is the second closest via telescopes. Earth could be the oldest in the solar system, all planets seemed to be formed at the same time.
7) If you didn't say, than you didn't say it.
8) I generally also believe that homo sapien is nothing more than a term on paper
9) Fair enough
10) Was the entire continent of Pangaea between the Tigris and Euphrates?
11) Fair enough
12) It's not possible that the ark both started and ended up in Mesopotamia?
13 & 14) Fair enough
15) I honestly think this the most common misunderstanding of evolution. Monkeys and humans do share a common ancestor millions of years ago, but new evidence is actually showing humans may have had their own separate from primates.
16) Atheism - "disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of God or gods" - Google
17) I don't really know anything the Strong's Concordance. If you don't like it because it's creates confusion about what scripture says because of translation, tough. Literal translations don't always work. For example, a literal translation of "Kindergarten" into German would be "child garden".
18) I don't agree, but this is a matter of opinion
19) New discoveries do not actually disprove reliability. Very, very rarely does a new discovery cause minds to completely change, a couple of years ago, this also happened in physics, a test showed something that would have completely thrown out the last 100 years of physics, however, upon research it was discovered a miscalculation occurred. Most new discoveries occur in conjunction with current scientific theory. In scientific terms, a theory is not just a guess, gravity is a theory. A theory is compatible with what you would call a belief.
20) Confirmation bias. You only accept evidence that you believe is already true to support your own personal believes.

I do wish it was a little cheaper, but I'm at the school I want to be at and God wanted me.
You didn't finish your sentence.

You're at the school you want to be, and God wants you where?

Here at ACU. At is a preposition, it's grammatically incorrect to finish a sentence with a preposition.

Well, you confused me when you said:

"I do wish it was a little cheaper, but I'm at the school I want to be at and God wanted me."

Since you didn't say, "God wants me" ... I thought maybe you didn't finish your sentence.

You like the ESV, do you? all of it?

It's alright. The main reason I read it I haven't changed the translation back to NIV after switching it years ago for some reason. I think its reads. better than the NI. Since most people I know use the NIV, if I'm not paying close attention I can get lost when following along while listening to someone read aloud.

Nope - ending a sentence with a preposition is perfectly fine English. The idea that it's wrong is falsely promulgated by overzealous grammarians. "Who did Jane go with?" is clear and unambiguous, so it's hardly breaking English.

Oxford has some great examples of where ending with a preposition is preferable and more natural: would you rather say "Jane has much to be happy about" or "Jane has much about which to be happy"? The latter is clunky, unnatural, and overly-formal.

Next you'll be telling me we shouldn't split an infinitive ^_^

I've always been told it's a rule, at least in formal writing. With the exception of contractions, I usually always try to write in a formal writing style since it makes writing papers easier.
