Whatever nothing new, Western society is Pro-LGBT and Pro-Abortion and a corporation is simply giving the people what they want. Of course I'm rather upset at the hypocrisy that Mozilla can fire their CEO, HGTV can refuse to pilot these two brothers but Catholics schools can't fire teachers and staff for breaking their morality contracts!
I guess corporations just have more protection of their moral views than a freaking religiously backed institution.
I watch it as well as the DIY network.Given the folks I know that watch anything on HGTV...I am not surprised they are worried about airing the show. I can't say I know many socially conservative folks that actually watch it, but that is just the ones I know.

There are a lot of gay couples on the channel but I'm there for the tips.haha Okay. Okay. Well...I said "many"...

I like the House Hunters shows. But I have to admit, if it's a gay couple, I usually change the channel.
Absolutely. I hate it when they pull that nonsense. When these actively gay characters appear on much of anything, I switch the channel pronto.
Why? You watch people commit murder, people commit adultery, people steal things, and people have premarital sex on tv/in movies. What makes a gay couple getting a room makeover special?
Most of the time I see a gay couple on T.V it seems like someone is trying to make a statement. It's like "Hey look at this gay couple! Do you see how normal they are! Look at how we wont acknowledge that theyre gay! BECAUSE IT'S SO NORMAL IN THE 21st CENTURY! ACCEPT IT!!!!" I dont care enough about randoms on T.V to make a big deal about them being gay, but stuff like that makes me roll my eyes.

Meh...it depends on your taste I guess. People always remember the gay interior designer versus the majority of straight interior designers.Hate to buy into stereotypes, but lets face...gay guys do tend to give fairly good advice on DIY decorating and design and such.
