JESUS is the Stone!

Luke 20:15-21

15 So they cast him out of the vineyard and killed him. Therefore what will the owner of the vineyard do to them? 16He will come and destroy those vinedressers and give the vineyard to others.”17 Then He looked at them and said, “What then is this that is written:
‘The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone’?

18 Whoever falls on that stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.”
19 And the chief priests and the scribes that very hour sought to lay hands on Him, but they feared the people —for they knew He had spoken this parable against them.

Matt 21:38-45

38 But when the vinedressers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’ 39 So they took him and cast him out of the vineyard and killed him.
40 “Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vinedressers?”
41 They said to Him, “He will destroy those wicked men miserably, and lease his vineyard to other vinedressers who will render to him the fruits in their seasons.”
42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:
‘The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone.
This was the Lord’s doing,
And it is marvelous in our eyes’?

43 “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. 44 And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.”
45 Now when the chief priests and Pharisees heard His parables, they knew that He was speaking of them.

Jesus is the Stone that CAME and Crushed those wicked men to powder, exactly as He told them He would.

Now lets hear the excuses from the separation theologists as to How this passage remains unfulfilled.....

Upon the same Stone are seven eyes which are the seven Spirits of God. This Stone is also the "Witness Stone" of Joshua 24:25-27 which "heard all of the words of the Lord", (see also Zechariah 3:9 which speaks of this Yehoshua who was Kohen Gadol after Moshe because he was set before Eleazar son of Ahron). Likewise the same Stone is that Stone cut out from the Mountain "without hands" in the dream of Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel. Yochanan the Immerser speaks of this when he testifies: "But he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you in Spirit Holy and fire; whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire!" (Daniel 2:34-35) :)

PS ~ And if those things concern Yeshua then he has this to say about it:

Luke 18:31 KJV
31. Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.

The only way to get around this is to deny Yeshua by denying his words. :)

Wow..

Parousia created a thread?

Amazing.

Glad I can be of such help

Anywho.

Parousia, are you implying that this "stone" is the same from Daniel that will crush and defeat the empires of the earth?
I'm testifying that Jesus Christ is the Stone from Luke 20 & Matt 21 that came and crushed those wicked men to powder.

Are you saying He is not?

Are you saying that is fulfilled?
Matt 21:38-45 and it's parallel Luke 20:15-21 is Fulfilled, yes.
Are you saying it isn't?

Parousia, are you implying that this "stone" is the same from Daniel that will crush and defeat the empires of the earth?

That was me. :D

And the empires are merely used in the various allegories concerning evil men as in all the Prophets of old and their writings. Just goes to show that your paradigm is defunct because Daniel does not truly concern empires but rather man, (every man in his own appointed times). Yeshua clearly says that Daniel is a Prophet in both Matthew 24:15 and Mark 13:14 even though in the "Jewish Canon" Daniel is not counted among the Prophets. Perhaps this is the very reason why Yeshua names Daniel a Prophet because when he states "Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the Prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished" it clearly means all things written in the book of Daniel, and that is absolutely the case because the Master clearly names Daniel as one of the Prophets. The problem is not that others are not willing to believe what is written but rather your interpretation of Daniel as if the book is only speaking of empires. The empires are merely used in allegories for the four dominions of every man. Yeshua is clearly the Stone cut from the mountain without hands. The kingdom of Yeshua is not of this world. The reign of Yeshua will never end. The reign and kingdom of Yeshua begins at his word given to him from the Father during the trials and court held before Pilate and the Chief Priests including the High Priest Caiaphas. All these things are in the Gospel accounts and widely ignored. There is no such thing as a "giant two thousand year gap" between Golgotha and the Kingdom of God. The kingdom of Messiah has already become a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

Daniel 2:34-35 KJV
34. Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.
35. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

Matthew 3:11-12 KJV

11. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
12. Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

nebuchadnezzar-statue.jpg

Luke 20:17-18 KJV
17. And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?
18. Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Daniel 2:44-45 KJV
44. And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
45. Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

Luke 1:30-33 KJV
30. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.
32. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33. And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Face the facts: Your paradigm does not have a leg to stand on! (pun intended) :p
You are ignoring the Testimony of Yeshua concerning Torah and Prophets:

Luke 18:31 KJV
31. Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.

Matthew 7:12 KJV

12. Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

What exactly are you paralleling this verse to?

Mat 21:44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Luke 20:18 is the parallel, of course.
"Whoever falls on that stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.”(Luke 20:18)

Jesus is the stone that fell on those wicked men and ground them to powder.

You disagree?

Whoever is not limited to Pharisees, would you agree with that?

12 And they sought to lay hands on Him, but feared the multitude, for they knew He had spoken the parable against them.

Who do you say "they" and "them" are?

9 “Therefore what will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the vinedressers, and give the vineyard to others.

Those wicked vinedressers Jesus was addressing the parable against were in fact destroyed.

So you mean pharisees who persecuted Jesus Christ are dead?

I thought that was pretty much a given, ^_^

Really?
So you agree that Matt 21:38-45 is already fulfilled?

I mean, if they are dead, and Christ said that their death would come as a direct result of the "Coming of the Lord of the Vineyard to destroy them", you must then affirm they met their fate in the manner Christ prophesied they would, correct?

Who were the vinedressers the Lord leased the vineyard to VRBA?

Now when the chief priests and Pharisees heard this, they knew that He was speaking the parable against them.

No man knows the day or hour, but we have the season nailed.

You will die trying to figure out what we know, because you never asked the one who reveals such things.

Im sure Mary can put in a request..
