The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. The internet is a dangerous place. You never know who is who and what you are in contact with and it is not a good place for a cancer victim to come. Maybe there should not be an oncology forum in here. It is too serious a disease to have the facility for a thread where everyone can come for whatever reasons of their own, and cause problems for the cancer sufferer.
I have been regaled with stories of extreme abuse and much of it of a sexual nature - at t time when I did not know if I would live or die. I have given of my time and been generous to all in here. I was sick but I still gave to you.
There is much more that I could say but believe that the key to all of this is making an oncology section part of a forum where all can come with their own agendas.
Thankyou to those of you who have been real friends. There are one or two of you and you know who you are. However, too much trust has been destroyed for me to trust any of you any more.
