Catholics are Christian.

WHO said they didn't have "Problems with Catholics". Have you been outside your house lately, or watched any TV????

BUt the basic reason that folks have problems with "Christians" is that they're EVIL, and AT ENMITY with God, and are normally not too fond of being told that - even though they already KNOW IT for the most part.

I think the real question is,

Why do people mock others in the first place?

While Christians have the same core beliefs as Catholics, the Pentecostal and non-denominational movement that it has become is far more progressive.

In other words it grows outward to take territory from the enemy. Catholics are not an out going movement, does not have a history of evangelism (to the contrary if we look far back enough) and is safely focused inward so the enemy doesn't level his forces against them.

add to that...,for the most part ,general roman catholics when challenged,will tel you their relationship with God is a private matter between them and God and refuse to testify of it.thus no challenge is made to the unsaved,no confrontation about mans state of sin and need of repentance.

where as a born again christian,for the most part,(though not enough) will obey the instruction to be ready to testify freely all the time.and are known to present the gospel in both its merciful wonder and dire warning.
it cuts at the conscience and makes the flesh uncomfortable.

just like not all so called Pentecostals are.having a denominational membership does not guarantee salvation.

are they lies?in the philipines i have seen them bow to statues and kiss them ,i am an eye witness of it.so no its not lies.

And if proclaiming what the bible clearly states about such things is anti roman catholic then whom shall i declare?Christ Jesus..Or rome?

Well we are called to follow the lord Jesus and listen to him ,not listen to rome and their longwinded ambiguous explanations of why they venerate(wich means worship in the dictionary)mary,pray to angels ,make images(idols) pray through the dead.use terms and titles that blaspheme God,etc..

So nope,as we are not called to listen to rome or try to understand its contrary doctrines,i feel we are fully justified in not doing so .

Probably the same reason that many Christians mock Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, or Atheists.

Being a Christian means you are part of the Body of Christ and part of the true Church of God. That church will ALWAYS be persecuted. I believe that when looking from a biblical point of view, many Catholics are not true Christians, I'm sorry. A true Christian believes in salvation through grace by Jesus alone, Catholics rely on good works. A true Christian is freed of sin and works day by day to rid his/her life of it, meanwhile Catholics are lost in idol worship, something God HATES. A true Christian lives His life by the one and only Word of God, not by tradition or what the pope or the Roman Catholic church says.

There are faithful, God-loving Catholics in this world, but unfortunately, many are lost. Just like there are faithful Muslims and Jews who are also lost.

Christians are mocked because we love and follow Jesus. Jesus said the servant cannot be greater than his master. If they persecuted Jesus, they will persecute His followers as well! Catholics are not true followers of Jesus because the Catholic Church does not teach a biblically sound doctrine.

As a Pastor for more then 30 years, I have seen a lot in my life and I have been called many names, I been mock and been hated by many people. Mocking is a part of a Pastor's life I am sorry to say, if they hate Jesus they will hate you. I am sorry to say that Satan controls to many people in this country now days. The only thing we can do is to pray for people who mock us or hate us.....
