This special case of a Greek Orthodox Princess whose Grandmothers were Protestant, and whose husband is Catholic descendent of the Catholic Kings, makes me wonder if her reality is something special, or if in the future we will see more cases as hers among not royal people.

She converted to Catholicism in 1962, it wasn't required by law but the people would expect their queen to be a practicing Catholic. By doing so she relinquished her rights to the Greek throne and excommunicated herself from Orthodoxy.

Is there any preventive disuasion from the Orthodox Church to her royal highness to avoid being excommunicated?

Prince Philip is the same. He is not permitted to receive Holy Communion in the Orthodox Church

I can understand about Prince Phillip he is 100% catholic, but not Βασίλισσα Σοφία της Ισπανίας

This is no queen. The present day european socialites who parade themselves as royalty are nothing but a bunch incestual inbreeds. They stick to their fraudulent pan-european royal cliches, they can call no Councils, have no authority to enforce canons and absolutely no one recognizes them as Christian mediators in ecclesioligical affairs.

I'm talking about Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh, husband of Queen Elizabeth II. His parents are Orthodox and his mother became a nun, though she continues to live in Buckingham Palace.

actually he is Anglican (if we are talking about Queen Elisabeth's hubby), but what is the point of this thread?
