believing you may be LESS THAN ADEQUATELY >> 'intellectually-equipped'

When you can catch a daytime programme on TV (which seem much nicer than the evening ones these days) because you don't have to go to work anymore.

When the word "swing" meant either dancing or playing on a piece of playground equipment.

When you wanted to see a football game you went to a football stadium or heard it on the radio because it wasn't telecast or there simply wasn't TV yet.

When you can remember that rudeness was not regarded as self-expression and parents were thankful when teachers (reasonably) disciplined their children.

I'm sorry about that Dave. I don't agree with harsh or unreasonable discipline, but I think we may have gone to the other extreme in some cases. Maybe I brought a too serious note to the thread, so I'll lighten it with:

When you have clothes older than some young adults.

Mr. Rogers and the neighborhood was a new TV show for children and your little ones watched it every day.

Folk was the most popular music and Judy Collins was top of the list of folk singers.

When you switch from the fast dances to a nice two step.

People don't judge you by appearance so much.

You select your food based on what you can still chew.

When you prefer planting in raised beds for a no-bend garden.

You no longer consider yourself a night owl!
