I often look to secular music to see how the young generation is seeing the world and how they're interpreting it through their eyes. I think this new song is a good example.

Great song Neph!
I like that indie rockish sound they have.
Not sure if I know any of their other songs.

I've been listening to Flamenco a lot
But always love me some bluesy rock and roll too.
Here's an entire concert, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck,
Steve Winwood, John Paul Jones, Andy Fairweather-Low,
Bill Wyman, Kenney Jones, Joe Cocker, Charlie Watts and more!

LLOJ.. hmm, interesting :)
Is that one of your favorite pieces?
Nah. A lot of music played in movies are pretty kewl.

This is a favorite of mine, especially the vid posted for it :)

Matt 21:13
And He is saying to them "it has been written 'My House a House of prayer shall be being called, ye yet it are making a den/cave/sphlaion <4693> of robbers'". [Jeremiah 7:11]

Reve 6:15
And the kings of the land and the greatest and the chief-of-thousands and the rich ones and the strong ones and every bond-servant and free man, hide selves into the dens/caves/sphlaia <4693> and into the rocks of the mountains.

I'll have to view this when I have more time. It's definately something I know I'll love.

My son plays flamenco guitar very well, I love it when he plays for us!

Possibly singing about the sin nature? It's possible they don't even know what their singing about, excellent song no matter what. :)

Oh yeah, 1963, a good year, the year of my birth! Thank you God, it's been a good life over all, and alot better since I met you!!

Turning 51 is no big deal to me but when I learned that this song by Lesley Gore came out in 63 I thought, cool, I have to post this on my birthday on You Likey.

Not gonna lie, I really like that one too!
I think you just put me in the mood for oldies!
Happy birthday Neph!
I'm having a pretty good birthday so far. Had a few beers after work, got some real good gifts, watching my Brewers beating the Reds, life is good down here.

Loved the stevie Wonder vid! To keep up with the oldie theme, here's my fav...

I'm starting to like the music I wouldn't even consider listening until recently. I'm either growing older or becoming childish...or most probably both. Something like these:
I like techno so the first vid I liked but the last two were just a little too mello for me. So, to each his own. Otherwise, yeah, I started to get to like Country music for a while. I do contribute it to my age. Otherwise my base is blues and that is where I started from and where I end. I pray to God almost everyday that blues music will be played in heaven. I'm confident it is. I think a little bit of everything is up there...:)
