Shalom, peace be with you.

Hi there, I would like to post several truths here and In truth, I would like to discuss the scriptures with everyone who is interested. Please, if you have something to offer, go ahead..

Please, do not come here trying to start trouble. If you want to correct, edify, or teach me something, do so with my God's truth. I want what is within the scriptures. Please do not twist or pervert what lies within the pages. The truth does not argue with the truth. Remember, I have created this thread and others have chosen to view. If offended, please, do not comment. Let this thread be filed with grace and peace. If you have a part of his truth in which you would like to add, please do.

If you have been to a church that has taught lies, I would like you to expose the truth, you know? Hopefully someone may learn from all this.

The thread is quite long. Perhaps you may decide to scroll through and look at the bold sentences and discuss the ones you choose to discuss.

James 2:20-24
But do you want to know, vain man, that faith apart from works is dead? Wasn’t Abraham our father justified by works, in that he offered up Isaac his son on the altar? You see that faith worked with his works, and by works faith was perfected; and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him as righteousness”; and he was called the friend of God. You see then that by works, a man is justified, and not only by faith.

1 John 5:1
Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God.

Matthew 15:9
And in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrine rules made by men.

Mark 7:7
But they worship me in vain, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.
Some churches teach that it is okay to defend ourselves, or attack others, with the weapons of this world. However, what do the scriptures say about such things?

2 Corinthians 10:3-7
For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ; and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience will be made full. Do you look at things only as they appear in front of your face? If anyone trusts in himself that he is Christ’s, let him consider this again with himself, that, even as he is Christ’s, so also we are Christ’s.

Matthew 5:39
But I tell you, don’t resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.

Luke 6:29
To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer also the other; and from him who takes away your cloak, don’t withhold your coat also.

The casting of stones, is it okay to kill another sinner? Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Some churches teach condemnation. However, what do the scriptures say about such things?

If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.

Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.

Some churches say that they love God, know God, and have seen him. However, what do the scriptures say about such things?

John 14:23-24
Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him. He who doesn’t love me doesn’t keep my words. The word which you hear isn’t mine, but the Father’s who sent me.

1 John 3:6
Whoever remains in him doesn’t sin. Whoever sins hasn’t seen him and doesn’t know him.

Some churches teach that sin is okay, nobody is perfect. Did you know that sin is hatred? However, what do the scriptures say about such things?

Love doesn’t harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.

1 John 3:4
Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.

Deuteronomy 18:13
You shall be perfect with Yahweh your God.

Some churches teach that Jesus is not the spirit. However, what do the scriptures say about such things?

2 Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Some churches teach that Jesus is not the Father. However, what do the scriptures say about such things?

John 10:30
I and the Father are one.Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born. To us a son is given; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

John 14:7-9
If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him, and have seen him.” Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you such a long time, and do you not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father. How do you say, ‘Show us the Father?’

Some churches teach that everyone is the children of God. However, what do the scriptures say about such things?

1 John 3:9-10
Whoever is born of God doesn’t commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can’t sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the devil. Whoever doesn’t do righteousness is not of God, neither is he who doesn’t love his brother.

John 8:44
You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and its father.

Matthew 16:23
But he turned, and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, for you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of men.”

Acts 13:9-11
But Saul, who is also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, fastened his eyes on him, and said, “Full of all deceit and all cunning, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? Now, behold, the hand of the Lord is on you, and you will be blind, not seeing the sun for a season!”Immediately a mist and darkness fell on him. He went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand.

Ephesians 5:6
Let no one deceive you with empty words. For because of these things, the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

Romans 9:8
That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as heirs.

Romans 8:14
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.

Some churches teach that everyone has God inside them. However, what do the scriptures say about such things?

Acts 5:32
We are His witnesses of these things; and so also is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.

1 John 3:24
He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.

1 John 3:6
Whoever remains in him doesn’t sin. Whoever sins hasn’t seen him and doesn’t know him.

1 John 3:9
Whoever is born of God doesn’t commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can’t sin, because he is born of God.

Jude 1:5-19
Now I desire to remind you, though you already know this, that the Lord, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who didn’t believe. Angels who didn’t keep their first domain, but deserted their own dwelling place, he has kept in everlasting bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them, having, in the same way as these, given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are shown as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire. Yet in the same way, these also in their dreaming defile the flesh, despise authority, and slander celestial beings. But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the devil and arguing about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him an abusive condemnation, but said, “May the Lord rebuke you!” But these speak evil of whatever things they don’t know. They are destroyed in these things that they understand naturally, like the creatures without reason. Woe to them! For they went in the way of Cain, and ran riotously in the error of Balaam for hire, and perished in Korah’s rebellion. These are hidden rocky reefs in your love feasts when they feast with you, shepherds who without fear feed themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn leaves without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; wild waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the blackness of darkness has been reserved forever. About these also Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones, to execute judgment on all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their works of ungodliness which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” These are murmurers and complainers, walking after their lusts (and their mouth speaks proud things), showing respect of persons to gain advantage. But you, beloved, remember the words which have been spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you that “In the last time there will be mockers, walking after their own ungodly lusts.” These are they who cause divisions, and are sensual, not having the Spirit.

Thousands of churches confess Christianity. However, what do the scriptures say about such things?

John 8:31; John 13:35

Acts 11:26
The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

Some churches teach what some call the "prosperity gospel." However, what do the scriptures say about such things?

1 Timothy 6:3-6
If anyone teaches a different doctrine, and doesn’t consent to sound words, the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness, he is conceited, knowing nothing, but obsessed with arguments, disputes, and word battles, from which come envy, strife, insulting, evil suspicions, constant friction of people of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. Withdraw yourself from such. But godliness with contentment is great gain.

2:5
Listen, my beloved brothers. Didn’t God choose those who are poor in this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the Kingdom which he promised to those who love him?

2 Corinthians 8:9
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.

1 Corinthians 13:3
If I dole out all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don’t have love, it profits me nothing.

Matthew 19:21
Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”

Mark 10:21
Jesus looking at him loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack. Go, sell whatever you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me, taking up the cross.”

Luke 18:22
When Jesus heard these things, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have, and distribute it to the poor. You will have treasure in heaven. Come, follow me.”

Luke 6:20
He lifted up his eyes to his disciples, and said, “Blessed are you who are poor, God’s Kingdom is yours.

Matthew 6:19-21
“Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Matthew 13:44
“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found, and hid. In his joy, he goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field.

Luke 12:33-34
Sell that which you have, and give gifts to the needy. Make for yourselves purses which don’t grow old, a treasure in the heavens that doesn’t fail, where no thief approaches, neither moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

James 5:1-4
Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming on you. Your riches are corrupted and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and your silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be for a testimony against you, and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up your treasure in the last days. Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies.

1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Some churches teach that no one can see the face of God. However, what do the scriptures say? Does someone have to see the face of God to be saved? For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. What happens if someone dies and does not return to the glory of God?

Numbers 6:25
The Lord shew his face to thee, and have mercy on thee.

John 14:7-24

Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)

7 If you had known me, you would without doubt have known my Father also: and from henceforth you shall know him, and you have seen him.

8 Philip saith to him: Lord, shew us the Father, and it is enough for us.

9 Jesus saith to him: Have I been so long a time with you; and have you not known me? Philip, he that seeth me seeth the Father also. How sayest thou, shew us the Father?

10 Do you not believe, that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you, I speak not of myself. But the Father who abideth in me, he doth the works.

11 Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?

12 Otherwise believe for the very works' sake. Amen, amen I say to you, he that believeth in me, the works that I do, he also shall do; and greater than these shall he do.

13 Because I go to the Father: and whatsoever you shall ask the Father in my name, that will I do: that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If you shall ask me any thing in my name, that I will do.

15 If you love me, keep my commandments.

16 And I will ask the Father, and he shall give you another Paraclete, that he may abide with you for ever.

17 The spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, nor knoweth him: but you shall know him; because he shall abide with you, and shall be in you.

18 I will not leave you orphans, I will come to you.

19 Yet a little while: and the world seeth me no more. But you see me: because I live, and you shall live.

20 In that day you shall know, that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them; he it is that loveth me. And he that loveth me, shall be loved of my Father: and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

22 Judas saith to him, not the Iscariot: Lord, how is it, that thou wilt manifest thyself to us, and not to the world?

23 Jesus answered, and said to him: If any one love me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and will make our abode with him.

24 He that loveth me not, keepeth not my words. And the word which you have heard, is not mine; but the Father's who sent me.

And I said: Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord answered: I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. But rise up, and stand upon thy feet: for to this end have I appeared to thee, that I may make thee a minister, and a witness of those things which thou hast seen, and of those things wherein I will appear to thee, Delivering thee from the people, and from the nations, unto which now I send thee.

1 Corinthians 9:1
Am not I free? Am not I an apostle? Have not I seen Christ Jesus our Lord? Are not you my work in the Lord?

1 Corinthians 15:3-9
For I delivered unto you first of all, which I also received: how that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures: And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day, according to the scriptures: And that he was seen by Cephas; and after that by the eleven. Then he was seen by more than five hundred brethren at once: of whom many remain until this present, and some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen by James, then by all the apostles. And last of all, he was seen also by me, as by one born out of due time. For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

1 Timothy 6:16
Who only hath immortality, and inhabiteth light inaccessible, whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and empire everlasting. Amen.

Hebrews 2:9
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour: that, through the grace of God, he might taste death for all.

Hebrews 12:14
Follow peace with all men, and holiness: without which no man shall see God.

1 Peter 1:7-9
That the trial of your faith (much more precious than gold which is tried by the fire) may be found unto praise and glory and honour at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, you love: in whom also now, though you see him not, you believe: and believing shall rejoice with joy unspeakable and glorified; Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

1 John 1:1-3
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the word of life: For the life was manifested; and we have seen and do bear witness, and declare unto you the life eternal, which was with the Father, and hath appeared to us: That which we have seen and have heard, we declare unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us, and our fellowship may be with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

1 John 3:2
Dearly beloved, we are now the sons of God; and it hath not yet appeared what we shall be. We know, that, when he shall appear, we shall be like to him: because we shall see him as he is.

1 John 3:6
Whosoever abideth in him, sinneth not; and whosoever sinneth, hath not seen him, nor known him.

1 John 4:12
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abideth in us, and his charity is perfected in us.

1 John 4:14
And we have seen, and do testify, that the Father hath sent his Son to be the Saviour of the world.

3 John 1:11
Dearly beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doth good, is of God: he that doth evil, hath not seen God.

Isaiah 66:23
And there shall be month after month, and sabbath after sabbath: and all flesh shall come to adore before my face, saith the Lord.

1 Corinthians 13:12
We see now through a glass in a dark manner; but then face to face. Now I know in part; but then I shall know even as I am known.

2 Corinthians 3:18
But we all beholding the glory of the Lord with open face, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, as by the Spirit of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 4:6
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God, in the face of Christ Jesus.

1 John 4:8
He that loveth not, knoweth not God: for God is charity.

1 John 4:7
Dearly beloved, let us love one another, for charity is of God. And every one that loveth, is born of God, and knoweth God.

1 John 4:6
We are of God. He that knoweth God, heareth us. He that is not of God, heareth us not. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God, committeth not sin: for his seed abideth in him, and he can not sin, because he is born of God.

1 John 4:7
Dearly beloved, let us love one another, for charity is of God. And every one that loveth, is born of God, and knoweth God.

1 John 5:1
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ, is born of God. And every one that loveth him who begot, loveth him also who is born of him.

1 John 5:4
For whatsoever is born of God, overcometh the world: and this is the victory which overcometh the world, our faith.

1 John 5:18
We know that whosoever is born of God, sinneth not: but the generation of God preserveth him, and the wicked one toucheth him not.

God does not change. He revealed himself to his children in the past, why wouldn't he do so today? How can you know one in which you have never met? How can you have a relationship with one in which their is no contact? Does God not follow his own laws? According to scripture, who would God shun?
If you believe in the truth above, the verses below may come in handy.

1 John 3:4
Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.

1 Thessalonians 5:22
Abstain from every form of evil.

1 Timothy 1:8-11
But we know that the law is good, if a man uses it lawfully, as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for man slayers, for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine; according to the Good News of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust

1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom.

Romans 13:12-14
The night is far gone, and the day is near. Let’s therefore throw off the deeds of darkness, and let’s put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day; not in reveling and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and lustful acts, and not in strife and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.

1 John 3:15
Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him.

Ephesians 5:3-6
But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints; nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate; but rather giving of thanks. Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words. For because of these things, the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

Colossians 3:5-11
Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry; for which things’ sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience. You also once walked in those, when you lived in them; but now you also put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth. Don’t lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings, and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator, 11 where there can’t be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bondservant, freeman; but Christ is all, and in all.

Galatians 5:17-26
For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the deeds of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit. Let’s not become conceited, provoking one another, and envying one another.

Revelation 21:8
But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

Revelation 22:15
Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

2 Timothy 2:15-19
Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth. But shun empty chatter, for it will go further in ungodliness, and those words will consume like gangrene, of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; men who have erred concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past, and overthrowing the faith of some. However God’s firm foundation stands, having this seal, “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Let every one who names the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness.”

1 Timothy 1:3-7
As I urged you when I was going into Macedonia, stay at Ephesus that you might command certain men not to teach a different doctrine, and not to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which cause disputes, rather than God’s stewardship, which is in faith— but the goal of this command is love, out of a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith; from which things some, having missed the mark, have turned aside to vain talking; desiring to be teachers of the law, though they understand neither what they say, nor about what they strongly affirm.

Titus 1:10-16
For there are also many unruly men, vain talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, whose mouths must be stopped; men who overthrow whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for dishonest gain’s sake. One of them, a prophet of their own, said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, and idle gluttons.” This testimony is true. For this cause, reprove them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith, not paying attention to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn away from the truth. To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their mind and their conscience are defiled. 16 They profess that they know God, but by their deeds they deny him, being abominable, disobedient, and unfit for any good work.

Titus 3:9-11
but shun foolish questionings, genealogies, strife, and disputes about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. Avoid a factious man after a first and second warning; knowing that such a one is perverted and sins, being self-condemned.

1 Peter 2:1-4
Putting away therefore all wickedness, all deceit, hypocrisies, envies, and all evil speaking, as newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that with it you may grow, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious: coming to him, a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, precious.

2 Thessalonians 3:14
If any man doesn’t obey our word in this letter, note that man, that you have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15
For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as Christ’s apostles. And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light. It is no great thing therefore if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

Galatians 2:4-5
This was because of the false brothers secretly brought in, who stole in to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage; to whom we gave no place in the way of subjection, not for an hour, that the truth of the Good News might continue with you.

2 Corinthians 6:14-16
Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, “I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”

Romans 16:17-20
Now I beg you, brothers, look out for those who are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them. For those who are such don’t serve our Lord, Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and flattering speech, they deceive the hearts of the innocent. For your obedience has become known to all. I rejoice therefore over you. But I desire to have you wise in that which is good, but innocent in that which is evil. And the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

2 John 1:7-11
For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who don’t confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the Antichrist. Watch yourselves, that we don’t lose the things which we have accomplished, but that we receive a full reward. Whoever transgresses and doesn’t remain in the teaching of Christ, doesn’t have God. He who remains in the teaching, the same has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you, and doesn’t bring this teaching, don’t receive him into your house, and don’t welcome him, for he who welcomes him participates in his evil deeds.

2 Timothy 3:1-9
But know this, that in the last days, grievous times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, not lovers of good, traitors, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding a form of godliness, but having denied its power. Turn away from these, also. For some of these are people who creep into houses, and take captive gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Even as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so do these also oppose the truth; men corrupted in mind, who concerning the faith, are rejected. But they will proceed no further. For their folly will be evident to all men, as theirs also came to be.

Galatians 5:7-12
You were running well! Who interfered with you that you should not obey the truth? This persuasion is not from him who calls you. A little yeast grows through the whole lump. I have confidence toward you in the Lord that you will think no other way. But he who troubles you will bear his judgment, whoever he is. But I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been removed. I wish that those who disturb you would cut themselves off.

2 Thessalonians 3:6-15
Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks in rebellion, and not after the tradition which they received from us. For you know how you ought to imitate us. For we didn’t behave ourselves rebelliously among you, neither did we eat bread from anyone’s hand without paying for it, but in labor and travail worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you; not because we don’t have the right, but to make ourselves an example to you, that you should imitate us. For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: “If anyone will not work, don’t let him eat.” For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. But you, brothers, don’t be weary in doing well. If any man doesn’t obey our word in this letter, note that man, that you have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed. Don’t count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

1 Corinthians 5:11-13
But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortionist. Don’t even eat with such a person. For what have I to do with also judging those who are outside? Don’t you judge those who are within? But those who are outside, God judges. “Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.”

Communion: On Passover, did Judas eat the bread and wine in an unworthy manner thus calling judgement upon himself? Are you worthy?

John 6:70
Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

The disciples were clean but not all of them. Their feet were also cleansed by Jesus. Yet one was a devil who remained unclean.

John 13:9-11
Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all. For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.

Did they eat the communion before of after they were clean? Also, did Judas eat in an unworthy manner? What happens to those who eat communion in an unworthy manner?

1 Corinthians 11:20-34
When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper. For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken. What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? what shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not. For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.

Also, did they all eat from the same loaf of bread? Did they all drink from the same cup? One Lord? One faith? One baptism? No division? Like - minded and in agreement? One body whose head is the Christ? Do not add to the word nor take away from the word. One loaf is one loaf. One cup is one cup. Anything else is human tradition and not of God. Anything else set another as their head. Who is head of your family? Is it God?

1 Corinthians 10:16-17
The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

Archetypes. I suggest that all the Judas's among you to avoid doing communion. No devil should be sitting at the Lord's table eating of his flesh and blood because there is no light in them. It could be quite dangerous. Curses will indeed be bestowed upon the Satan who decides to eat the bread and wine. For new wine is poured into new wine skins. Are you new or do you remain old?

1 Corinthians 10:21
Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

Why do some sit at the table of devils and expect to be worthy to drink of the Lord's cup?

2 Corinthians 6:14-18
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

If you subtract this post, do you see anything unusual about this thread?

Hi Mr. God is Immortal,

What do you think stevenfrancis was trying to say to you in that question of his?

Can you not see that to start off the thread with the statement: "If God permits, I would like you guys to correct, edify, and teach me," and then proceed to post as you did--and the amount that you did--couldn't help but cause many to question your true objective.

And as stevenfrancis implied, can you not see that your method certainly appears to have been a huge turn-off.

Just a few things to consider.

God Bless

Truth is, the world hates God. Who is the world? Perhaps a kiss on the cheek and a warm embrace but will their hearts be near me? Notice how I speak of an archetype.

My true intentions is just that, I do not want to be wrong. If I am wrong, I am going to hell. To be wrong is to not only lie but live a lie. All liars inherit the lake of fire. The post is not only for my benefit but also for those who decide to eat. However, many will not as the scriptures have said. God seeks those who worship in spirit and truth. I must have the truth in order to worship him. I do not want him to be ashamed to be called my God. If I deny him, he will deny me. That includes my prayer, servitude, and worship. I must have the truth.

I post a thread and people come with complaints. Please explain to me why people continue to come to me with a problem? Why are you constantly judging me? What have I done wrong? I was commanded not to add to the word and not to take away from the word of God. I am not to become a law unto myself, nor am I suppose to enforce laws that God did not create. I asked for peace, yet people come here with this. I thought flaming was against the rules? What is considered flaming? Is it starting trouble with me? Instigating? Provoking? Why are we worried about what I am doing if there is no harm? Have I harmed anyone here? May the Most High God discipline everyone who oppress and persecute me. May the First and the Last discipline all who hate and abuse me. May his will be done and not my own. Spare the rod, spoil the child.

I do not want to post a huge bowl of sugar so that the flies come and gather. I would rather post veggies in which children hate to eat. I am not here to please man first; God comes first. My apologies but who among the world is my master? Are we not to serve the Christ? Yet the world seems to want me to serve man.

Hi again,

At the risk of banging my head against the wall;), I'll give you someting else to think about:

Even if you really do have God's truth, the way you are going about trying to share it is going to turn-off 9 out of 10 people. Do you really believe that's what God wants. (Can't you see that that is what steven was trying to tell you.)

Hello, grace be with you.

It depends. Notice how I speak of an archetype and not directly to anyone.

I am not trying to feed the slothful. If they are not willing to read the little in which I have posted, will they read the bible, over and over again? Many are too lazy to inherit salvation. They are not willing to climb the mountain, let alone get beyond the path. As scripture has implied, a sluggard is too lazy to lift the food from his plate into his mouth. Thus he will die.

I am not here to feed those who love the lies and hate the truth. If they prefer the lie, then they will undergo delusion as the scriptures have stated. In this situation, there is nothing I can do for them. If God has decided to harden their hearts, I do not have the power to undo what he has done. The yeast is too deep for me to work with. Some are babes in Christ, while others eat mature food. The same goes for the anti-christ spirit. Some have become quite mature in the spirit of falsehood and may never be cured.

I am not here to feed those who love to sin. Sin is too be hated among those who love righteousness. If they love to sin, then they do not love God, for he does not sin. There is nothing I can do for them.

I do not want to speak in a beautiful manner in which people will lust after. I do not want to post images that seduce them in which they will lust after. I do not want to surround them with glorious music, in which the people will lust after. Many are so hypnotized with lustful things. Sugar that is so pleasing, they forget about God. So many distractions.

They forsake God for a mere creation. If one believes that they are on top of the mountain, when they indeed are not, will they continue to climb? Perhaps they will boast in their arrogance, not knowing that they haven't even begun to get beyond the path in which the evil one comes to sow the word out of their hearts..

Also, notice how I am trying to allow the disciples to teach. How much of this thread includes words from my own heart? I would prefer the scriptures to teach them instead of myself. Who would they trust more? Those who have the holy spirit or someone like myself? I am not here to try and trap the people and take whatever I can from them. I simply want what is best for them but like a child, how many will treat me like they may have done their parents? Yes indeed, I am aiming for the few select who will LOVE GOD WITH ALL THEIR STRENGTH, MIND, BODY, AND SOUL. Those who will give him absolutely anything, everything. For wide is the road that leads to destruction. Narrow and straight is the road that leads to life.

I am not trying to gain the whole world thus lose my soul.

I have been commanded to glorify God, and what better way than to spread the Truth? God is not only Love, but he is the Truth. I have been called to be bold, and to go forth with courage. I have been called to speak in a manner that benefits all who listen and not to speak in an idle manner that does more damage than good. However, if it is the truth that causes one to stumble, then there be a curse. Blessed is he who does not stumble on account of the son of man.

Hi honest Al:

Yes, that's basically it. I was drawn in to the thread by the title of it, and thinking that a brother or sister was seeking some input or help or something on their faith journey. I began reading the posts, and I noticed that they were ALL from the OP, and I didn't find a question or concern in the entirety of the 7 or 8 posts which existed at the time, nor any interaction with other posters, nor any subject or topic for other posters to comment on or discuss. It was a series of quotes from scripture, (without an overarching theme or direction which I could detect, but that could be my own density), and no indication of a search or hint of need of others input. It seemed to be a litany of the Word of God, but one without a homily, or points for discussion. Reads more like a series of blog posts than a thread in a discussion forum.

Ah well,

A blessed and happy Easter to all my Christian brothers and sisters of all stripes.

Hi Mr. God is Immortal:

It's unclear to me what your intent is/was with this thread. I certainly didn't derive it correctly by reading the title or the early posts, though I do dearly love to read the Bible, so thank you for all the passages. Never a disappointment to read God's word. It sounds as if you are all set, and secure in your faith journey, and aren't actually seeking discussion. That's fine. Seriously. I didn't mean to be smart alecky with my first post. It just struck me as odd to see so many posts from one person, in their own thread without response, or explanation. If you do wish to discuss anything, I'm always interested. May God bless you and yours during our celebrations of the resurrection. The Lord's peace be with you.

"My dead faith," can be quite long. I have not even added all that which I wanted to do so. There is a lot more but I no longer find it necessary. Whether short or long, we should not judge beyond proper limits. My apologies for the stumbling block. I have learned quite a lot of truth and I want every lie seeked out and eradicated. I want the truth to go forth and conquer. I was asking for help but it seems as if I have not received that in which I have asked. If there are lies within my truth, they will indeed ruin the relationship I seek to have with God. He is the truth and I must know the truth to be saved. I want to worship God, his way, and not my own. My own relationship with him is not worthy. I must be more like his son and his son knew the truth. God promised if I seek, I would find. Ask and I shall receive. Knock and the door shall be opened.

Well, I seek the truth. I seek edification. I do not want a single lie inside mt faith but most are not willing to help me with this manner. Maybe they can't. I have learned that nothing can happen outside the will of God. Perhaps he desires me to do most of this on my own, that is, with him. Most of that in which I have learned I got from the scriptures. When it comes to the things of God, man has not taught me much about the scriptures. I was commanded though, do not seek counsel from the world...
