Let not God speak to us!
Exodus 20:18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. 19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. 20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not. 21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was. 22 And the Lord said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.
Jeremiah 23:28 ... he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the Lord. 29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

2Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
Israel in Moses days did not want God to speak to them. They were frightened and preferred for Moses to speak to them instead. He was a mere man. They could talk back to him in opposition and threaten him ... and they did so. But they were too intimidated to do that to God! What does that tell you about "human choices"?
Today we have the same thing. Some have said, "Do not give us all those scriptures! Give us your heart is saying in your own words". The fact is men prefer the words of men for the same reason Israel wanted to hear Moses rather than God. The Word of God is written thunder, fire and lightening, and earthquake that speaks in an "unheard voice". The Word intimidates unregenerate minds and they do not understand it. "Give us the word of man and not the scriptures"! Men can argue against the words of men and challenge their veracity and "authority". It is hard and intimidating to do that against the direct Words of God without looking foolish as an "unbeliever"! In Isaiah 30:8-12 we find that Satans offspring hate the Word of God. They do not want to hear it or see it, and they do not want Jesus or God (the Holy One) before them. Jesus said, "He that is of god heareth Gods Words. Ye hear them not because ye are not of God. Ye are of your father the devil!" Men must take heed to the spirit that is in them and influencing their choices. Any time you conclude that YOU do not want the Word of God and YOU prefer the "spin" on instead .... then you know what spirit is influencing you. It is your personal "badgers skin veil" of devils covering your temple body! Exodus 26:14, Ezekiel 28:14-15, Matthew 12:43-45.
Romans 7:15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Just as men did not want to hear God in Moses days, they do not want to hear God and nothing but God today! "You write TOO MANY SCRIPTURES! Say what you have to say in your own words (which do not have the power of life nor Gods authority). The problem with the men of Moses day is the same problem men have today. Devils covering their bodies do not want to hear nor see the Word of God. So they steer YOU (their horse) away from it! Let every man take heed to the spirit leading his mind!
Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
