Paul is the apostle of the Gentiles (see Romans 11:13).
The Gentiles are to hear the gospel of salvation from Paul as ordained by Jesus Christ. (see Romans 15:16 and 2 Timothy 4:17).

When asked what must a person do for salvation, Paul answered to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

Acts 16:30-31
30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Please note that Paul said "the Lord" Jesus Christ. So you must believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord, that is, God.

Also note that only believe is mentioned, so it cannot be anything else or Paul would have said so.

Finally, notice the guarantee of salvation when a person believes in the Lord Jesus Christ. Shall be saved not might be saved. So this proves once saved always saved.

Please also see the thread:
This is what it means to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ

If you say so.......

The gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes.

The following is absolutely clear and emphatic. If a person believes the gospel of Jesus Christ (at only one moment) and then does not end up saved, the statement would be false. So at the moment of belief, salvation is then guaranteed forever and accomplished by the power of God. Jesus Christ used the term "born again" and that indicates a moment in time, not a life long process.

Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

According to the above verse "the gospel of Christ" "is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes".

If a person believes the gospel of Christ (at a moment of time which is the moment of salvation) then the gospel of Christ is:
"the power of God" - not the power of men, not even of the person just saved, but the power of God Almighty
"unto salvation" - that makes it a guaranteed outcome. It does not say to possible salvation, probable salvation, but unto salvation. God Almighty will do it.
"to everyone who believes" the gospel of Christ. This leaves no exception at all. Therefore if a person believes the gospel of salvation, then the power of God guarantees salvation.

The following is absolutely clear and emphatic. If a person believes in Jesus Christ (at only one moment) and then perishes, the statement is false. So at the moment of belief, salvation is then guaranteed forever as promised by Jesus Christ.

John 11:25-26
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

The following is absolutely clear and emphatic. If a person believes (at only one moment) that Jesus Christ is the Saviour sent from God the Father, and then comes into condemnation (hell), the statement is false. So at the moment of belief, salvation is then guaranteed forever as promised by Jesus Christ.

John 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

"hath everlasting life" - actually has, not maybe might get it, but has it.
How? as a gift from God, which gifts are without repentance (God will not change the outcome). Since only God is in charge of the outcome, there is no one, not even the saved person themselves, that can give it back.

"shall not come into condemnation" - so if a person came into condemnation, then this statement by Jesus Christ is false. But Jesus Christ is speaking the truth, so it is true. So if a person believes in Jesus Christ (at only one moment, the moment of rebirth) and then perishes, the statement is false. So at the moment of belief, salvation is then guaranteed forever as promised by Jesus Christ.

"is passed" - this is a past completed act. That again proves salvation is a one time event, born again.

The disagreement comes in how does one defines belief.

To believe on the Lord Jesus Christ is to believe on who He is, what He did, and to trust in what He has promised.

You must believe that Jesus Christ is God Almighty who took on flesh.

John 8:24, 58
24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.

John 20:28-29
28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

1 Corinthians 12:3
Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

You must believe in what Jesus Christ did. The Lord Jesus Christ shed His holy blood on the cross as the payment for ours sins, He was buried, and rose again the third day.

Romans 1:15-17
15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Romans 3:21-26
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Finally you must believe what Jesus Christ has promised – everlasting life just by faith in Him.

John 3:14-18
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 6:47
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

John 11:25-26
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Finally anyone who is trying to earn salvation by works or merit, their faith does not count toward salvation. They must stop trying to earn salvation to be saved. You must believe that you are a sinner (ungodly) and there is no other way to pay for sins except by faith the shed blood of Jesus Christ as the payment fro your sins.

Romans 4:5
But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Psalm 23 is a wonderful psalm that many people have heard.

Here is the text for this psalm. What is interesting is that in the last verse, Davide wrote "I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever".
Please not that it does not say might dwell, maybe dwell, or could possibly dwell.
No. David wrote "will dwell", an absolute certainty. So this great psalm ends with yet another proof that Once Saved Always Saved is true.

Psalm 23
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Yet another proof that Once Saved Always Saved.

Note that the saints "are preserved forever".
Since it says saints that means those that are saved.
Since it says "the saints", it must mean all the saints. There is no qualifier.
It says the Lord does "forsaketh not his saints". So they could not possibly lose salvation.
It says "preserved". That means kept from destruction and saved, that is, kept from hell and saved.
"forever" That means there will never be a time that the saints are not preserved.

This is an undeniable Once Saved Always Saved statement.

Psalm 37:28
For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

The Lord Jesus Christ promised the saved that He will never leave them.

Hebrews 13:5
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

So the saved could never go to hell. If they did, Jesus Christ would still be with them and would be in hell forever. That emphatic and absolute promise, without condition, shows that once saved always saved is true.

Also if the saved could lose salvation and go to hell forever, then Jesus Christ would certainly have forsaken them. So it is impossible fro the saved to lose salvation. Never, ever could it happen.

Eternal Security or Once Saved Always Saved is absolutely true and guaranteed by Jesus Christ my Saviour.

The following is just another clear and empathic proof that once saved always saved is true.

Notice that it is by God’s mercy that He saved us. Also note that the past tense of the verb (saved) is used. So the saved are already saved (past tense) by His mercy.

Titus 3:5
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

But the mercy of the Lord, the mercy of God, is everlasting and endureth forever. Thus the saved are saved forever by the everlasting mercy of the Lord.

Psalm 100:5
For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Pslam 106:1
Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Pslam 118:1
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 118:29
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 136:1-8
1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.
5 To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.
6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.
7 To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:
8 The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever:

Psalm 136:26
O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Pslam 107:1-2
1 O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

In fact, as declared in the first 2 verses of Psalm 107, the saved of Jesus Christ are commanded to declare once saved always saved is true because they are redeemed by His mercy and His mercy endureth for ever.

The Holy Bible is quite clear that salvation is just by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His shed blood, and that salvation is guaranteed forever. Thus once saved always saved is true. This is just some of the many passages that show this.

The saved can never lose salvation because they are not under the law of sin unto damnation.

Romans 8:2
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

The following says the same thing. The first part is negated by the second part, which is why the word "but" is in there.

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Since salvation is a gift from God, God never takes it back.

Romans 11:29
For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

The saved are not under the law but under grace.

Romans 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

The save are not under the curse of the law, which is damnation. Jesus Christ already paid for all the sins of the saved. So there is need for any of them to be paid for by the saved.

Galatians 3:13
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

The saved already have redemption, that is, they are already redeemed. The saved have all their sins forgiven. There is no qualifier in the following verse, so it must be all sins.

Colossians 1:14
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

The following verse says the exact same thing.

Ephesians 1:7
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

The saved have all their trespasses already forgiven.

Colossians 2:13
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

Jesus Christ has already paid for all the sins of the saved.

Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

In verse 3, it says our sins. There is no qualifier, so it must be all sins. Since Jesus Christ already paid for all the sins of the saved, the saved could never be damned.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

The saved are cleansed from all sins.

1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

There is no qualifier in the following verse, so the saved have all their sins washed away.

Revelation 1:5
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Eternal Security or Once Saved Always Saved is Absolutely True. The Holy Bible has many verses or passages that prove this. Here are just a few. There are many more.

Jesus Christ who is God said the following. If someone has everlasting life, then they could never be damned. If not, they did not have everlasting life but potentially have everlasting life. The verse would have said, “might have everlasting life” or “possibly have everlasting life.” Jesus Christ, who is God, would not lie especially with the double verily. Notice also that only believe is mentioned so it must be believe only. If it were believe and anything else, then the something else would be mentioned else the statement is not true. But the statement is true, so it must be believe only.

John 6:47
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

Jesus also said the following. Verses 15 and 16 say the same thing and by the same logic above prove eternal security and salvation just by faith alone. Both also emphatically claim, “should not perish” which again proves eternal security. In verse 18, Jesus Christ says that they are not condemned. All again prove eternal security.

Jesus Christ also said the following. In verse 26, Jesus Christ said that they shall never die. Surely you believe God.

John 11:25-26
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Paul, the apostle of the Gentiles, wrote the following, so there is no way the saved could lose salvation. If you are sealed until the day of redemption, you could not be damned.

Ephesians 4:30
And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

That sealing forever happens at the moment of belief in Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:12-13
12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,

God promised the saved that He will make sure the saved are saved. It is God that makes the promise and God that makes it happen.

Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

The saved have already been raised and already sit in heavenly places.

Ephesians 2:5-7
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

In the following verse, Jesus says He is with the saved and will never leave them. How could they ever go to hell?

Hebrews 13:5
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Jesus Christ also said the following. Since the Holy Spirit is with the saved forever, the saved could never go to hell, because the Holy Spirit would have to go there too.

John 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Jesus Christ the Lord also said the following. If someone has “eternal life,” then they could never be damned. If not, they did not have eternal life but potentially had eternal life. Jesus Christ, who is God, would not lie. Again Jesus Christ is emphatic that “they shall never perish.” Obviously no man can pluck them out of Jesus’ hand or His Father’s hand, not even the saved person themselves.

John 10:28-30
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30 I and my Father are one.

It is the will of the Father that Jesus Christ not lose any that believe on Him. Jesus Christ always does the Father’s will.

John 6:39-40
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Jesus Christ promised to never cast out those that come to Him. So once saved always saved.

John 6:37
All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

The apostle John wrote the following. How can you know that you have eternal life if it is only a maybe?

1 John 5:13
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

The next passage, written by Paul, the apostle of the Gentiles, says, “are saved,” not might be saved. Notice it is through faith and not works. Since there is no qualifier on the word works it must mean all works.

Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Potentially damned could not be salvation as written by Paul in the following passage. Note that everyone, every single person without exception that believes in the gospel of Jesus Christ is saved. That is a guarantee forever.

Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

The following words spoken by Jesus Christ again prove once saved always saved.

John 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

As already shown in Ephesians 2:9, works do not earn salvation. All the work for salvation is already completed by the blood payment for our sins by sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. That is why Jesus Christ said:

John 19:30
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

In fact, Jesus Christ declared that the only work for salvation is to just believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

John 6:28-29
28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Paul says that a person must stop trying to earn salvation by works or merit or they will not be saved.

Romans 4:5
But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Before the rapture, for those that are saved by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, there are only 2 possibilities and only one outcome. If they die before the rapture, they get a glorified body and are forever with the Lord. If they are alive at the rapture, they get a glorified body and are forever with the Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:8
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-17
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The above sampling absolutely proves that eternal security (once saved always saved) is absolutely true. They are emphatic and quite clear. Since the Holy Bible has no contradictions, anything that anyone thinks shows otherwise is just their own mistaken interpretation. Many people assume a passage is talking about salvation/damnation when it is not. This is usually done by taking the verse out of context, assuming meanings of words with false definitions and doctrines, ignoring what salvation really means, or by not rightly dividing the word of truth (see 2 Timothy 2:15). They may be confusing statements made to a different people, for a different time, about a different subject. They may even be using a new Bible version with a corrupt reading.

From the above, we are assured by God Almighty the Saviour that if you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, you are saved forever. Those that are saved through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His shed blood have all their sins paid for by that blood. They have all their sins forgiven by faith in His atoning blood. God will not remember their sins. Therefore, no passage of damnation or condemnation applies to those saved by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

KJV is an Anglican document.
Anglicanism denies OSAS doctrine

Therefore, the quoted portions don't say what the original post claims.

Proof refuted. Once again, Anglicanism for the victory over KJV-Onlyist unorthodox doctrine.

The word of God in the King James Bible is the word of God.

And the word of God clearly proclaims Once Saved by Jesus Christ Always Saved is true.

BTW - The Geneva Bible proclaims the same thing.

As do all the bibles from that era.

Nope; the only Word of God is Jesus the Christ. St. John 1:1.

Was never believed in until Reformation age, and Martin Luther wanted nothing to do with it.

A translation under Calvinist auspices with extensive inherent Study Notes. Not one that Anglicanism even likes, given the fact that the Puritans made a martyr out of King Charles Stuart I, who was King James I's son.

As do all the bibles from that era.

Newsflash: all reading is interpretation; and in your posts is showed, constantly, a clear inability and lack of any honesty to have the ability to read things in context.

Yes Jesus is the Word of God (note the capitalized Word)

But the word of God (note the non capitalized word) is the Holy Bible.

And Jesus Christ shows the difference in the following verse.

Luke 4:4
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Nope. That would be "written words of God"

And Jesus Christ shows the difference in the following verse.

Luke 4:4

Actually, it proves me right. "Every" implies more than one, thus "words", and furthermore, it is only the Hebrew Scriptures being referred to here, not the New Testament, since they weren't even being contemplated yet at that point in Jesus' life. He hadn't even called the Disciples yet. No one was even following Him.

Thus, "written words of God".

And in that passage, it isn't even referring anything in the New Testament but only to what we Christians call the "Old Testament"; the Scriptures of the Jews; the Jewish Bible; the Hebrew Scriptures.

Nope. That would be "written words of God"

I just sent you in 3 posts 145 verses about the word of God and thus saith the Lord. There are 100s of others like that.

Please prove your theory with regard to all of these passages.

The word of God is in English in the King James Bible.
