I have been in a horrible storm. You wouldn't know it though unless you know me and I have told you all about it. I am the survivor. The one that is making it out alive and in one peace. No, I did not spell that wrong. Its how I intended to spell it peace. Jesus calms the seas. When you put your eyes on HIM and focus on HIM and not your troubles, the peace comes.
The storm rages on, thrashing and wailing away. However that peace is there. That peace in the storm, it can only be found in those who are seeking God, trusting God. Not fearing the storm any longer. They just rest in the Lord GOD. Drawing closer to HIM, HE draws closer to you. Then, admitting there is no way out, but HIM. No, you can not even help you at this moment. It will take Jesus.
Put your eyes on HIM and the storm in your heart, in your life, in your day to day, it will calm. It will pull away and loss its strength. Peace, and sunny skies rolling back in. Birds singing their praise to the LORD. Then suddenly you are compelled to beginning singing your praises as well.
Your eyes are on HIM. Not your troubles. HIS hand lies on you now. Comforting and guiding you gently out of the storm. Watch, and follow HIM. Don't take your eyes off of HIM, you could miss the next turn coming up. Stay focused, you may not see what HE is showing you. Listen, or you will lose what HE is telling you.
Praise HIM in this storm. Lift up your weary head and praise HIM. You have to let go and just let HIM in. Get your finger off of it now. You messed it up enough. Let HIM do it. That's right.
See that over there in the distance? Yeah, there is the end of the storm clouds. When we are driving out, we don't focus on where we are, we focus on the clear skies ahead. Go, now HE lead you through the toughest part. Now you can see to finish leading yourself out. Go, its right there.
You press on, because now you can see for yourself that the end of the storm is in the near distance. You mount up with wings as an eagle. Excited, but yet your still in the storm. You have forgotten about the storm. Your face is focused on Jesus and you know HE helped you find HIS way out of the storm. You can see it there. So now your focus is on the beauty of the beautiful clear skies ahead.
When you are in a horrible storm. You get so focused on the storm, you cannot see the way out. Its foggy, your blinded by the darkness of the storm. Its lonely, or is it? It is a lonely place in that storm by yourself. It doesn't need to be. Jesus is right there with you. He is the one knowing the way out. He is laying in the bow of the boat, sleeping. Waiting for you to call out HIS name. Until you do, the seas, the storm will just rage on. Call out to HIM. HE can hear you. Forget what you know, He is going to show you something new. We let go of what we understand, and allow HIM in to teach us what we need to know.

God bless each and everyone of you that are in the storm. Never forget. Hes right there waiting for you to call out HIS name.

JESUS, save us!!! Jesus, save me!!!

Hello GoToGod,

There is a piece of art you might like. It's by Stephen Sawyer, and called The Storm Pilot.

I like the power of this image. And the look on the young man's face. It takes determination besides faith to keep going in a storm. Even when the One who can calm the sea is in the boat and by your side.

Here are the Google images for it:

I first found this on the Pictures of Jesus for You site, here:

Blessings to you, and for others who understand what it is to continue forward in the midst of adversity.
