Instead of me fearing that I have committed blasphemy people say that I must have a demon......Raven is always on the OCD forum....Why? I don't know? But I myself have dealt with many different themes of OCD thru out my life....Sometimes I look and see ya maybe it was a demon that was attacking me but, now that I know my election is secure people want to throw mud at me and say I must have a demon because they do not understand........I have come a long way from where I was six years ago but, still have issues......I do however believe that when we give up on the world for answers that's when we turn to God and repent...

Just as in any physical illness, there may be a demon involved but our bodies work on chemicals… if my sugar gets low I can have a seizure. Thats not a demon bc as long as I take care of my body physically I don't have seizures.
That doesn't mean some illness aren't demonic but mental illness should carry no more stigma in the church than physical ones…. yet they do.
God help us that we are so unsupportive of those people who most need our unconditional acceptance.

God bless, andrea

one of the worst responses to a prayer I've ever heard… "erupt into prayer???….
sounds like vomiting out a prayer…. ????

God forgive us if we have to discern before we pray for someone who obviously is suffering…. I wish the church would erupt into continuous prayer….

We are instructed to deal with things in a common sense way first. Praying for things that are readily within our grasp is ignorant if we simply choose not to grab onto it.

We were never instructed to pray for people who decide not to believe. In this situation the bible is fairly clear that either we answer their questions regarding their disbelief, or shake the dust off our sandals. Disbelief grieved the Lord when he was here and he proclaimed judgement on the towns that would not believe

there are no examples of praying for this in the bible, it only angers and frustrates God.

No we are not instructed to things in a common sense way?? give me that scripture… we are instructed to do things in a Christ-like way… the loving supernatural believers way…

God help us when the church need to defend prayer from Christians… take a good look at what the world calls hypocrites…. they talk about a loving , forgiving and merciful God and when they get Him, they turn Him into their avenger…. Jesus did not come to condemn… and yes I am very familiar with the judgment seat of Christ… that is not our job…. read 1 Corinthians 13

13 If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

FROM the Message bible
The Way of Love

13 If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate.

2 If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing.

3-7 If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.

Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.
Love doesn’t strut,
Doesn’t have a swelled head,
Doesn’t force itself on others,
Isn’t always “me first,”
Doesn’t fly off the handle,
Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
Doesn’t revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Puts up with anything,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.
8-10 Love never dies. Inspired speech will be over some day; praying in tongues will end; understanding will reach its limit. We know only a portion of the truth, and what we say about God is always incomplete. But when the Complete arrives, our incompletes will be canceled.

11 When I was an infant at my mother’s breast, I gurgled and cooed like any infant. When I grew up, I left those infant ways for good.

12 We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!

13 But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love.

No I can't be forgiven.

Scripture says, (it is written and cannot be changed),
there is a sin that leads to death, and not to pray for that.
That sin is indicated many places to NOT BE MURDER.(odd the way english is, eh? - the sin that leads to death is the death of the doer, but not necessarily the death of another). partly because so many murderers in SCRIPTURE were forgiven, btw.

most people who sin the sin that leads to death may not ever recognize this, or they may know it and live in fear and doubt and remorse unable to repent like esau all the rest of their life, or with a hardened dead conscience not care at all.

most churches don't encourage repentance, so they also don't engage in forgiveness, nor even know how. that may be an issue now, today, for you.

no matter, IF YOU ARE ABLE, GOD WILLING, turn to GOD and see what GOD is able to do in JESUS for you, if anything, Yhwh willing. IF ANYONE CAN HELP, GOD CAN. even after all men fail.

Like I said all along. You have a doubt problem which I'm betting is OCD. IDC what others think......I don't care the ones who do not understand.....You want this answer just so it can be a temporarily fix. Once that feeling is gone you will say I don't believe and the ask for reassurance.......Are you trying to say that you killed someone and are wondering if man will forgive you....My bet is that they won't Can God forgive you? Of coarse....He already has......

it may be too early to say He already has.

If He Will, He Will. there are conditions/ requirements, even if only HE DOES WHAT HE WANTS TO DO.
some are never forgiven, but are destined for the lake of fire.
the Judge knows who they are already.
no one else may know, but He knows.
He also knows those who are His Own.
He knows who has turned to Him in Christ Jesus to be Saved, to be Healed, to Live His Life.
He draws the poor, the destitute, the forsaken, the heart-broken to Himself.
He saves whom He will, whosoever turns to Him Trusting Him, seeking Him.

that's (possibly, so test everything) from the so-called word of faith movement, i think.
sort of 'name it and claim it' type,
or 'you get what you say', but

it's a mis-representation of Yhwh's Word, Faith and Scripture.

it puts man up on a pedestal that God says to avoid - puts flesh on the throne instead of , in place of YHWH and Jesus.

(raven) : there are sins that may be pardoned/ forgiven/ but only if repented of - so
it would be , it is, unpardonable to not repent - to not turn to God away from sin by faith through grace in Jesus Christ the Savior Messiah Judge. from your posts over the last few years there are some things you must turn over to God in your life and repent of them, or you won't be forgiven,
just as it is written "without repentance there is no forgiveness of sin".
