Poured down rain in the early a.m. Now in the later a.m. the sun is shining brightly with clear skies and wind blowing fiercely. Could do something else before the end of the day!
Bitter cold; below zero tonight.
Sunshine and slightly warmer temps (30's) the next few days may help start to melt our snow pack.
There will be no jonquils or crocuses for the first day of Spring this year
It was cloudy, cold, and raw today, and it is sleeting as I write.
Mother Nature is pulling a fast one on New England; we still have 1-2 feet of snow on the ground and the lake is still frozen solid. UGH
It has been windy here in Northern Ireland and rather wet yesterday. Today is cloudy, but trying to be bright. It is still rather cold, but that's March for you.
It has been an unusually mild winter here in the UK this year, but made up for it with a huge amount of rain and wind. Many areas have been flooded.
The weather seems to be gradually getting better now, not so much rain and a feeling of Spring in the air. The Spring bulbs/flowers are all out, so summer must be just round the corner. Yippee!
March is hanging on to Winter; it is another cold, blustery day here, with snow showers and no signs of my Spring bulbs anywhere!
When Spring finally arrives, we're gonna party
We've had such 'spring-like' weather... flocks of geese
have been flying back to my northern location, and
robins are everywhere. It's hard to see a cold day
come along, like today is...poor little birds. :/
more hailstones followed by a light rain this morning
which, quickly passed-on, to leave clear blue skies
and some sunshine, broken only, by small patches of cloud
It might even have gotten warmer, were it not
for a rather-stiff, westerly /north-westerly breeze
