I was thinking recently how inappropriate contentography has become like the Black Death of the souls of millions. It came to me one day when I was reading about inappropriate content addiction worldwide how it acts as a type of REVERSE ICON. We Orthodox see icons as 'windows into heaven' to see archetypes of divine perfection. inappropriate contentography is a type of window to hell, a reverse icon, Satan's perfected hopes.

There are people now seeking help for their inappropriate content addictions because they have a hard time achieving erections - no pun intended. You also have relationships being tattered because one partner is supplanting normal sex with what he views in pronography and now expecting their other half to divulge in similar sex acts.

Not only that, look at some of these inappropriate content stars and how they live. Look how the inappropriate content industry is mum whenever an STD breaks loose. Look at some of the creeps who run the inappropriate content industry or are directors, and look how they treat inappropriate content stars.

It's that mistreatment and behind the scenes stuff, that people are unaware of, that got me unhooked from inappropriate content.

If anyone wishes to overcome inappropriate contento addiction, start praying the Rosary and devotion to Mother Mary.

"inappropriate content a reverse Icon." This is why I am careful with anything I watch or listen to because it imprints our souls. inappropriate contentography is definitely at the top of the list.

inappropriate content gives people unrealistic expectations. I've delivered pizzas, it's nothing like what the movies would have you believe.

God is able to remove wrong stuff, so we have clear minds and are free from wrong tendencies in us messing with us > "and be renewed in the spirit of your mind." (Ephesians 4:23) So, if something wrong can get power over me and my attention, I confess this to mean my character still has weakness so I am available to being messed-with. And I trust God to correct me more so my character is not available to Satan's messing.

What helps me, about inappropriate contentographic women on the Net and ones who show themselves in church > I now understand that love does not have me using a woman just to look at her and imagine what I want with her. But love has me first caring for every woman.

And while I am busy with caring, it is easy not to be thinking about wrong things. God's grace almighty easily keeps me

the soul?

no, we are washed clean by Jesus

but there are effects on the mind and physiology

same with any other type of addiction

our society has gotten much better at recognizing the effects that drug and alcohol addiction has on the body

I would think that the effects of any addiction rewires the mind in some way

This really got to me.

I have also heard sexual immorality described as being a profanation of the Incarnation - how else could the evil one seek to undermine the reality that God became flesh and sanctified the flesh than to bind humans, made in God's own image, to lust, which destroys?

Sometimes, I just get so sick of the sex-saturated culture.

I have my own struggles with inappropriate content and sexual immorality. What people don't realise is that there is just as much danger in an untrained mind as there is in untrained urges. Even if you abstain from sexual activity, there is still a battle raging in the mind. Sometimes all you can do is hope for "little victories".

I have my own struggles - somehow I think being a woman and having these urges is more difficult than being a man. Whilst still called sin - it is "normal" for men to struggle with these things. But try bringing it up as a woman, and it gets odd.

I think it perverts the mind. Sets us up with false expectations. Trains us in what to expect. Reality never lives up to the hype unfortunately.
