The Book of Enoch, Translated by Robert H. Charles, 1912

(Chapters 1-36)
Dedicated to the Last Generation
1 The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation,a when all the wicked and godless are to be removed.

2And he took up his parable and said- Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me,b and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation,c but for a remote one which is for to come.
Those who repent when they see the graves of the righteous opened and bodies of the dead in Christ regenerated and the bodies of the living watching and praying saints, [who obey Jesus and pray to be counted worthy to escape all these tings coming and to stand before the Son of Man in heaven, glory bodies and ascend to heaven] ascend to heaven to meet the LORD together before His temple door, and enter in, will be saved in His name, and live through these things coming, but they get no glory, like those who were waiting.

But Enoch wrote his revelation for those who are "Left Behind", so as to make sense of what has happened, worldwide, and to understand how to live -and die in faith if need be- and what will happen on earth in the years following the Great Escape! of the obedient faithful servants of Jesus.

Enoch 50:
50 And in those days a change shall take place for the holy and elect,
And the light of days shall abide upon them,
And glory and honour shall turn to the holy,

2On the day of affliction on which evil shall have been treasured up against the sinners.

And the righteous shall be victorious in the name of the Lord of Spirits:
And He will cause the others to witness this
That they may repent
And forgo the works of their hands.

3They shall have no honour through the name of the Lord of Spirits,
Yet through His name shall they be saved,
And the Lord of Spirits will have compassion on them,
For His compassion is great.

4And He is righteous also in His judgement,
And in the presence of His glory unrighteousness also shall not maintain itself:
At His judgement the unrepentant shall perish before Him.
5And from henceforth I will have no mercy on them, saith the Lord of Spirits.

I'll be sneaky and bend forum rules only to partake in this opportunity to reply in light of this excellent thread that you have planted like a seed for more light. :)

I c&p from the same link in your post, even though it didn't paste as the copy page. Please note my replies after Enoch's verses. These are my interpretations of them as I first see them, and only now as I have read them, afresh because it's been a while since I read his writings and each time that I read any scriptures or books of the Apocrypha I see even more things that they say that I didn't see before, and each time I draw conclusion closer to the end in prophecy. It's like fine tuning a radio to a certain frequency, and with each twist of the dial the signal increases, and the audio becomes louder.

My notes in Red.... (this is lengthy so I have put it in parts)

Enoch
3Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them:

The Second Coming of Christ

The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling, (This is identifying the teacher of righteousness)
4And the eternal God will tread upon the earth, even on Mount Sinai,
And appear from His camp (He treads because He comes in flesh just as He came in Jesus Christ 2000 years ago, nothing new under the Sun. The rest is a long story as to explain what took him so long, Ikes! I'll wait on that part) :)
And appear in the strength of His mightd from the heaven of heavens. dEphesians 6:10 (This is touching on a that line of his identity in the end-times as I posted elsewhere just recently. Enoch is giving hints and teasers of this man's identity and traits, and what his whole purpose was from the Beginning, and all planned by the Father and given unto the man much later in his life, and this is where they formed the story of Rip Van Winkle. There are more of his life spoken by Enoch that will touch on certain but only a part of the whole story behind it, as as we go.)

5And all shall be smitten with fear, (I recall many Bible verses that relate in like to what Enoch is telling us. Those who are watching are you, and others who are reading and thinking, and they are found in places such as here at CF, and not yet time to speak for others as they are outside of places where this man treads. Remember, he's in flesh and no different from you or I, except for the mind and Spirits who come in him, and this is why He comes with thousands of angels because they are right here/there to serve him, and to run to and fro for him as he asks the Father questions in prayers and supplications, and in sacrifice for the world; the man sacrifices his entire life, and lifetime to do this one-time, and once-in-a-lifetime mission just for G-d, and he never knows until the end and right before it comes when he too is enlightened by the Father of all Creation. No man may know the hour nor the day, not even the Son except for the Father but the Father does tell the Son when to comes, and only after the Father raises Him up from the dead in Christ, reincarnate! He does Rise, Again! And, IMHO, He has Risen, Today, and the Antichrist is and has been brought in just around the same time that the TOR was born into this world, and here now.)

And the Watcherse shall quake,f (Yea, they who are listening and watching with their antennae standing high into the clouds might pick up something from the heavens like static while He treads the earth as they do. Why do they gaze into the heavens when he comes as he did once, already? Because they look for something outside of the body, and this is evidence that they are outside the Body, instead, looking in.)

And great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth.g eDaniel 4:13,17,23 Luke 21:26 Isaiah 24:21-22 (Once the watchers are awakening, which takes a short time as they become convinced will they spread the word rapidly as the word is in circulation in an world-wide form somehow such as our Internet is capable of reaching all of the world, today. In Revelation, the little book will now speak of those words that were written therein, and now come from all of who John also saw in visions. Jesus came, and He said that one much greater than He is still to come, and this is profound as to how G-d does come and in whom, and what times, and He, that man in the end who makes the path straight in each instance of prophecy must be awakened from his sleep like Rip Van Winkle, and cry in the cities as Paul Revere, and do it with emergency as the "Time" is at hand at His appearing and IN the Father's time, which the Son learns of in his experience's before that last-day comes. It's a very long story that is spoken of in bits and pieces by the prophets, and each one gives us templates and silks to paint a picture of the Christ, His life, yesterday, today, and tomorrow. This TOR is able and the only one who was given instruction to do all of these things for the earth, and he comes to save her from those who are destroying her, and he does it by educating them in simple ways, like the simplicity that is in Christ, as it is written.)

6And the high mountains shall be shaken, (Ditto, the mountains are the "mind's", and specifically in this prophetic metaphor of "high places" that have been plundered with pagan propaganda throughout the lifetime of the living, while living in these days. They who are high will be brought down low, and those who are low will be brought up on High, and this is a parable, as they who are high are them who preach their own gospel's, and are not of Yahweh, and they who are silent, and watching in faith are humbled, and they are brought up to another kind of High place that is not of the same place as those left behind in their present form of darkness in mind/spirit. Those who "hear that voice from "behind" are those who do recognize that they were turned away "backward" from Yahweh, who is the Judgment that Enoch speaks of, and He, the TOR was "brought-up" to heaven so to be given the light to bring down to earth, so to speak, and just as all prophets are enlightened as they too, metaphorically speaking, all see the Father in visions, and veiled as they too are men in flesh who come with the appointed Spirits of the Father by whom He chooses to send. The Father is the ONE who controls the entire Universe from His Sons whom are the Elect, and they will be resurrected in this world as they too are awakened as to who they are in this family, and they receive a new name as they realize their true identity in this world. They are cast into this pit in order to raise us up, again.)

Continuation:

And the high hills shall be made low, (Already mentioned)
And shall melt like wax before the flame.h hMicah 1:3-4 hPsalm 97:5 (Allegory that describes an result of the mind that discovers the Truth, it's like throwing the entire candle into the fire. And these candles that I speak of are those that have been burning at both ends, as looking through two-eyes, instead of a single eye that is to shine as a lamp unto to world and through the single eye, which is your branch grafted into the Tree of Life, that brings you Eternity in Salvation of the soul, which is the Entire Body, in both heaven and here on earth, meaning both natural and spiritual, and in body and mind.)

7And the earth shall be wholly rent in sunder,i (They put asunder the Godhead, so then, and now will they be put asunder by what opposes them in spirit as the Spirits that do come will bear witness against them, and their mind's are destroyed for the lack thereof, and of the Father, and by the Father shall they perish by His Brightness in Truth that abolishes all of man's traditions, his works, his mind, spirit and strength just as the saints are increased by the same increase of their New Mind's, and Spirit's as they will do battle with the dragon and his offspring, crushing their "head's" in this parable, and the Heel's are standing UP once again as they were brought up out of the pit, and then Satan and all of his followers are locked in for that duration of the coming Eternity. It will cover the wicked like a blanket that covers when they pass away.)

And all that is upon the earth shall perish, (Already said)

And there shall be a judgement upon all men. iIsaiah 24:1,3,19 (As I mentioned recently elsewhere, it's been in process, as I believe that it began sometime last April, or there about.)

8But with the righteous He will make peace, (The watchers who do awaken and believe will be enlightened by his teachings, and they finally receive "peace" that is His "Rest" that they receive by knowledge of the Law that brings back the balance in their scale of mind and spirit, and pictured as in the head in this prophecy. They once thought to have peace but it was a false peace as it was not the true "Love" that comes only with the Law of Yahweh, and without His Laws the wicked cannot rest, day nor night, and as the world is currently in a "distress" and under a heavy burden by the "Order" in which they currently live by, and under like a blanket of captivity.)

And will protect the elect,
And mercy shall be upon them. (They will have all of heaven with them, and the Lord by their side. If Yahweh be for us then, who can come against us? He will give all of the powers needed them to conquer anything, and they shall do it all with their armor that they shall earn, and require by undergoing a training that will take a short time as they train to be workmen approved; they will already have much knowledge of scriptures, but it's the Law that is written in them that will speak out in conscience, and they will either understand the Spirits or they shall not understand, and if they shall understand it shall not take long for them to put things in order, the things that they already have stored up. The Father in heaven will awaken them to their true Identity when they hear that Word spoken from behind them saying: "This is the way, walk in it!")

And they shall all belong to God,j (They belong because they then, after their awakening-resurrection to Light, will they know their true Identity as the infamous, Sons of G-d. They all become of one accord, one mindset, and thjey then will be able to identify the minds that oppose Yahweh, and they recognize that all of the others in the world are of another mind that is single, as in the single eye that they see through, which has been counterfeited by men before these Elect men of Valor will rise. The counterfeit's always, and must rise first before the authentic comes or else people will know the truth and Satan stands no chance then, to deceive the nations therefore, he raises his ugly head in every corner of the earth, and through his human creation, the human-race, as he was appointed for a time to be the prince of earth but that day is now about to end, as the battle will rage in every soul when they hear what's coming, and after the Elect are risen and speak, and are seen, and are appreciated by those who are watching for these things to happen. Jesus said to expect the sign of Jonah, and what does this awakening seem like in comparison? A large revival that others see and come to hear what the excitement is about, they tune in their ear, if they are listening.)

And they shall be prospered, (And, of course they prosper from all of this experience, and more than I can describe in words.)

And they shall all be blessed. (Here is a repeat of what is written in Genesis, and to elaborate on Enoch, he is saying the same, for the Sons of G-d to replenish the earth, etc. They are the Adam, the Jesus, the Elijah, and all of Heaven who come in these men, and all whom they will raise from the (living) dead who are able to hear with an ear of flesh that may allow the mind to see, finally! And, all that they do, and all that they speak is blessed, and shall prosper, and replenish once again what was once lost like a lost coin that came rolling back home.) jMalachi 3:17 Isaiah 40:1-2

And He will help them all, (The TOR will teach them, and this helps them stand upright from their previous position of lying in the grave.)

And light shall appear unto them, (A result of the teaching)

And He will make peace with them.k (As mentioned, they finally learn by education as to how to balance the law, and how to see all things as in all directions of all things both natural and spiritual, and this is the beginning of knowledge when the spark of the new intelligent human-race will flourish like offspring's, and the world will once again be restored, and in the process of a new evolution that will change us back to what we first were, an INTELLIGENT being, and not an ape. It may have been Expelled for a while but it does Return!)

9And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy onesL
To execute judgement upon all,
And to destroy all the ungodly: (Enoch sort of summarizes this segment of prophecy. And, the topic of Judgment is another that defines who and what is Judged, and this will be made more clear as the dead are slowly raising their heads from their graves; it's a process, and takes a few moments in prophetic time for them to fully awake, and see clearly.)

And to convict all flesh
Of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed,
And of all the hard thingsm which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him. Jude 1:14-15 Malachi 3:13 (The Truth is as a mirror for the spiritual mind to use so to see one's reflection of their spirit, and if they have a real mirror to see properly, they would then realize that they are looking at Satan when they gaze upon themselves and all of the human population, whom have fallen. They are then able to Rightly Divide the Word, which is qualified to Judge the world as a whole species, and even know all things when they ask for it; as Jesus told us, we have not because we ask not, and what ever we ask for so shall the Father know what we need and give unto us who ask of those Spiritual things that will bring Life back once again to others, and so to please the father, and to bring home all of them that the Father has sealed for this mission of harvest. Amen)

Thank you for this excellent thread, my sister :)

Regarding "watching", during the future tribulation of Revelation chapters 6 to 18 and Matthew 24, believers will have to "watch" (stay awake, spiritually) for Jesus' 2nd coming (Matthew 24:42-43, Matthew 25:13), which Jesus has just finished saying won't occur until immediately after the tribulation (Matthew 24:29-31; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-8, Revelation 19:7 to 20:6). For if a believer isn't "watching" (staying awake, spiritually) for the 2nd coming, it will take that believer by surprise (cf. the if principle of Revelation 3:3b). And that believer will lose his or her salvation at that time because of such things as unrepentant sin (Luke 12:45-46, Hebrews 10:26-29; 1 Corinthians 9:27), unrepentant laziness (Matthew 25:26,30, John 15:2a, Romans 2:6-8), or apostasy (Hebrews 6:4-8, John 15:6; 2 Timothy 2:12b).

Also, even when believers know the truth that Jesus' return won't occur until "immediately after the tribulation" (Matthew 24:29-31), they still need to live each day knowing that any of them could die at any time (Luke 12:20, James 4:14).

Regarding "pray to be counted worthy to escape all these tings coming and to stand before the Son of Man", note that Luke 21:36 doesn't require a pre-tribulation rapture. For some in the church will escape all of the future tribulation of Revelation chapters 6 to 18 and Matthew 24 by dying before it begins (Isaiah 57:1). And others in the church will escape all of it by being physically protected on the earth during it (Revelation 12:14-16, Psalms 91). Those who will escape it by dying before it begins will stand before the Lord in heaven (Philippians 1:21,23; 2 Corinthians 5:8). And those who will escape it by being miraculously protected on the earth during it will stand before the Lord in the sky at the rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:17), which won't occur until immediately after the tribulation (Matthew 24:29-31; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-8; Revelation 19:7 to 20:6).

Regarding "ascend to heaven", do you mean the 3rd heaven (2 Corinthians 12:2b)? If so, note that no scripture requires that believers will be raptured any higher than the clouds of the sky (the first heaven), to hold a meeting in the air with Jesus at his 2nd coming (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17). After that meeting, in which the church will be judged by Jesus (Psalms 50:3-5, cf. Mark 13:27) and the obedient part of the church will be married to Jesus (Revelation 19:7, Matthew 25:1-13), the obedient part of the church will come back down from the sky (the first heaven) with Jesus (Revelation 19:15-21) and will reign on the earth with him for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:4-6, Revelation 5:10, Revelation 2:26-29). Then, after the 1,000 years and subsequent events are over (Revelation 20:7-15, Ezekiel chapters 38-39), the obedient part of the church will live on the new earth with God the Father and Jesus in the literal city of New Jerusalem (Revelation chapters 21-22).

Regarding "live through these things coming", all obedient people in the church will be spiritually protected during the future tribulation of Revelation chapters 6 to 18 and Matthew 24, no matter what happens to them physically (Romans 8:35-37). The 144,000 male-virgins part of the church (Revelation 14:4), along with some others, will be physically protected so that they will survive the tribulation's first stage (Revelation 6). But some others in the church will die and their souls will enter heaven (Revelation 7:9,14). Near the end of this first stage, the 144,000 will be sealed (Revelation 7:3-4) for physical protection before the unsealing of the 7th seal (Revelation 8:1), out of which will come the tribulation's 7 trumpets (Revelation 8:1-2). The first 6 trumpets' events, up to Revelation 9:19, will be the tribulation's 2nd stage. The seal which the 144,000 will receive (which will be different from and in addition to the seal of the Holy Spirit himself which they and all others in the church receive: Ephesians 1:13) will physically protect them during this 2nd stage (Revelation 9:4).

After the 2nd stage is over, the 144,000 male-virgins part of the church will be caught up in their mortal bodies as the "man child" to God's throne in heaven (Revelation 12:5, Revelation 14:4-5, Textus Receptus), like how Enoch and Elijah were caught up in their mortal bodies to heaven (Hebrews 11:5; 2 Kings 2:1). Right after the 144,000 are caught up, the tribulation's 3rd stage, the literal 3.5-year worldwide reign of the Antichrist (the individual-man aspect of the beast) will begin (Revelation 12:5-6). This time period is shown from 4 different angles in Revelation chapters 11 to 14 (Revelation 11:2b-3, Revelation 12:6,14, Revelation 13:5-18, Revelation 14:9-13).

The 144,000 will remain in heaven before God's throne (Revelation 14:5, Textus Receptus) during the time of the Antichrist's reign (Revelation 14:9-13, Revelation 13:5-18), while two other parts of the church will still be on the earth: the figurative "woman" who represents those in the church who will flee into prepared wilderness places and be physically protected (Revelation 12:6,14), and the remnant of her seed (Revelation 12:17), those in the church who will remain in the cities and not be physically protected, but will be persecuted in every nation, imprisoned, and beheaded by the Antichrist (Revelation 13:7-10, Revelation 14:12-13, Revelation 20:4-6, Matthew 24:9-13).

After the Antichrist's reign is declared legally over at the sounding of the 7th trumpet (Revelation 11:15), the 7 plagues of the 7 vials of God's wrath will come out of the 7th trumpet's heavenly-temple opening (Revelation 11:19, Revelation 15:5 to 16:1). These vials will be the tribulation's 4th and final stage (Revelation 16). Because the church isn't appointed to God's wrath (1 Thessalonians 5:9), none of these vials will be directed at those in the church who will still be alive on the earth at that time, still waiting for Jesus' coming as a thief (Revelation 16:15). Instead, they will go into protective chambers which they will have built for themselves on the earth (Isaiah 26:20), just as Noah and his family went into the protective ark which they had built for themselves on the earth (Genesis 7:7). So some in the church will survive the entire future tribulation on the earth. They are those who will still be "alive and remain" at Jesus' 2nd coming to be raptured (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17) immediately after the tribulation (Matthew 24:29-31; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-8). These survivors will have experienced God's miraculous physical protection (Psalms 91) without having to have been part of the 144,000.

2On the day of affliction on which evil shall have been treasured up against the sinners.

5And from henceforth I will have no mercy on them, saith the Lord of Spirits.

That can refer to what will happen post-tribulation, at Jesus' 2nd coming (Matthew 24:29-30), when all the still-living unsaved elect genetic Jews will become saved (Romans 11:26-28) by God's grace when they see the returned Jesus in person and believe in him (Zechariah 12:10-14). And so they will all become part of the church at that time, just as when genetic Jews believe in Jesus now they become part of the church, for there are now no believers outside of the church (Ephesians 4:4-6).

And the genetic Jews who will become believers at the 2nd coming will all become part of the church by receiving some measure of the Holy Spirit, who is "the spirit of grace and of supplications" in Zechariah 12:10 (Hebrews 10:29c, Romans 8:26), just as genetic Jewish believers today become part of the church by receiving some measure of the Holy Spirit. For it is by receiving some measure of the Holy Spirit that both genetic Jewish believers and genetic Gentile believers become part of the church (1 Corinthians 12:13).

--

Also, note that nothing in the Bible says or requires that any person who is already a believer will be left behind at the rapture.

Is such a mistaken idea usually based on Luke 17:26-37 and Matthew 24:37-41? If so, people should realize that those passages refer to what will happen at Jesus' 2nd coming, "when the Son of man is revealed" (Luke 17:30), "the coming of the Son of man" (Matthew 24:37,39), which Jesus had just finished saying won't happen until immediately after the future tribulation (Matthew 24:29-31). Those "taken" at the 2nd coming (Luke 17:34-36, Matthew 24:40-41) will be unsaved people who will be taken to where they will be killed and birds will eat their dead bodies (Luke 17:36-37; Matthew 24:28, cf. Job 39:30b; Revelation 19:21). The Greek word "paralambano" ("taken": Luke 17:34-36, Matthew 24:40-41) can be used to refer to being taken to another place to be killed (John 19:16-18).

Those "left" where they are at the 2nd coming (Luke 17:34-36, Matthew 24:40-41) will include unsaved people who will be forced to come up annually to worship the returned Jesus in Jerusalem during the millennium (Zechariah 14:16-19). These unsaved people will have to be ruled with a rod of iron by Jesus and the bodily resurrected church during the millennium (Revelation 2:26-29, Revelation 5:10, Revelation 20:4-6, Psalms 2, Psalms 66:3, Psalms 72:8-11). And their descendants will be deceived by Satan after the millennium is over into committing the Gog/Magog rebellion (Revelation 20:7-10, Ezekiel chapters 38-39).

Before the millennium, at Jesus' 2nd coming, those in the church will neither be "taken" and killed, nor "left" where they are, but will be "gathered together" (raptured) (Matthew 24:31; 2 Thessalonians 2:1) into the sky to hold a meeting in the air with the returned Jesus (1 Thessalonians 4:17). The purpose of this rapture meeting will be so that those in the church can be judged by Jesus (Psalms 50:3-5, cf. Mark 13:27) and married to Jesus (Revelation 19:7) in the sky, before Jesus descends from the sky (the first heaven) with the obedient part of the church to bring the 2nd-coming wrath on the unsaved world (Revelation 19:14 to 20:3).

So the 2nd coming will be like "the days of Noah" (Matthew 24:37) and "the days of Lot" (Luke 17:28,30) in that just as Noah went into the ark before the Flood, and Lot went out from Sodom before it was destroyed, so the church will be raptured into the sky at the 2nd coming (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17, Matthew 24:30-31; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-8, Revelation 19:7) before Jesus begins the 2nd-coming wrath (Revelation 19:15 to 20:3, Luke 17:26-30, Matthew 24:37-39).

The Book of Enoch, Translated by Robert H. Charles, 1912

(Chapters 1-36)

Sorry to burst your bubble but the man is not the body. And when you do go up, (each in his or her own appointed times and none shall be alone in his appointed times) your carcass will not be going up with you; for there shall be no man in the Tabernacle of the Congregation that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness when the Priest goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place. And when you are set back down out of the whirlwind, perhaps like Job, or Philip, then all of the holy ones will see the transformation and know whether or not you did indeed overcome in your hour. Remember Lot's wife: No one, having put the hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. :)

When the "old" man reaches "age-12" he shall say to his father and mother, "Isn't it about time that I be concerned about the works of my Father?" For the man shall leave his father and mother so that he may cleave to his wife. Who is the Bride, the Bridegroom, and the Wedding about, and who for?

As in the days of Noah, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage. Who is G-d concerned about in the last-day? Is G-d concerned with our marriage laws? Yes, because it affects His. Is G-d concerned with His Marriage Laws to His Bride? Yes, and just the same because He will not Wed a Harlot but only after she repents. Yes, G-d will wed a harlot if she does cleanse herself after her transgression. She must cleanse for a period of time, and after may she enter in.

The Rapture stuff, and all of that theory may be parallel to a woman's minstrel cycle, and if we are modifying that in nature, we are then doing it FIRST in heaven, and that is what people refuse to see and it becomes unpardonable sin.

It's not the size of the "boy's toys" that matters, it's the "toys" that he plays with that does, and G-d is waiting for the boys to grow up, and how? :) G-d says, come here, to me as babes and play with these toys that I offer to my children so that they may be raised-up the Right-side up. :)

Thanks :)

Whew!
Such a lot of differing opinions taking off from the simple opening:) -and thanks to you all...

I want to stay with the theme of Enoch in that Enoch says his book is written for "the righteous and elect who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless will be removed", and the rapture pre-trib, which he wrote the parable of, in chapter 50.

He also wrote many other things about the end, being the first human being to write the "book of eschatology" for those on earth, though it was all written from the beginning in the Tablets of heaven and which the messenger in Daniel 10:21, calls "the Scripture/writing of Truth", out of which he showed Daniel the things to come concerning his people, for the last days, and which Daniel wrote chapter 11 and 12 from.

So Enoch the prophet, the seventh from Adam -as he identifies himself and as Jude also tells us- tells us that he read the tablets of heaven, written there by God the Word for the angels to read and know the things that will befall the sons of Adam from the beginning to the end.

So with Enoch stating right out that his book is for those righteous and elect who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless will be removed, and then gives us the parable of the rapture of the righteous before the tribulation, but instructions for those who see the righteous changed to glory, and ascend, and who repent and believe, that they will not get the "glory" the resurrected and raptured saints did, which they did see, but they will be "saved in His name", while the unrepentant and all the wicked will be removed from the earth, at the end of that tribulation.

So the themes of Enoch are also what Paul understood, as a student of the Word and writings called sacred, along with the Oracles of the Law on these things, and they all agree.

It will be a long haul and a hard time for those who repent and believe when they see the righteous changed to glory and ascend, when the graves are opened and the bodies come out, in regenerated form for the glory; when those who are left see them all ascend in a not at all secret rapture of the dead and the living in Christ; for many will see then, just many saw the resurrection of the First of Firstfruits, in Christ's resurrection body, when with the resurrection of the LORD Jesus Christ's body, He gathered the required "First of Firstfruits" offering for the temple in heaven, as High Priest of earth, so as to ascend to heaven with them, mid-morning, according to the Law/Living Oracles, to offer them as the wave offering there, as "Perfected sons of God" [saints made perfect], adopted into His Living Spirit, cleansed in their soul, and regenerated in their flesh bodies to His one New Man flesh/body, name, and new nature.

King James Bible Revelation 12:1-17
The Woman and the Dragon
1And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

3And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

5And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. 6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

The War in Heaven
7And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

The Dragon Persecutes the Woman
13And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. 14And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. 15And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. 16And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. 17And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The story told in Revelation is just the same as Enoch spoke but in different words. Revelation is greatly misinterpreted and causing the dismissal of Enoch, and other Apocryphal gospels that do match, and do have a so called gnostic nature because it is all gnostic, whether the Protestant world believes it or not.

Even all of the counterfeits are of a gnostic nature and this is why the carnal mind cannot see those things hidden in all things around us, today. Instead, the protestant mind looks for something that doesn't exist, it's only a delusion that they seek after.

The woman in this parable goes through much tribulation and persecution as her man-child is born into the world (TOR) and then stripped of his true identity, and he is born of a harlot mother that is of this world. The boy grows up to later learn of his true identity, and after he had received a worldly education. In Revelation, the earth "helps" the woman who travails in great pain, and this is depicting a fallen woman who feels the pain of "flesh", and in the flesh.

To "help" is to "teach" as in Enoch's verse, "and he shall "help" them all, and light shall appear unto them." The teacher of righteousness "helps" all of G-d's people who turn towards that word that is spoken "behind" them, and they shall learn the Truth from him, and they are raised up to a new mind and Spirit that was promised long ago.

There are so many issues with todays Christian society as they have twisted every truth in scripture. Nothing makes sense to them because they refuse to come to the Light and be educated. They remain in their darkness of mind, that which is an absence of the knowledge of G-d, and they who remain on the earth with their learned secular education will be destroyed. Their mind's will not survive in the world when this great tribulation comes, and it's only the Truth that the TOR brings that will protect them and "Save" them from their demise.

This leads up to the grafting of the gentiles when they receive that new mind which is a new Spirit, and it's the Mind of Christ in man, today, which is to come upon them who do repent of this transgression. There is much hidden from the prudent mind and these things that which are to come will be made known as all secrets will be exposed by the TOR's teachings.

The "time" is at hand, today, and now!

Thanks :)

As to the book written for those "Left Behind", it would be good insurance for those who deny the Rapture and who deny the restoration of Israel and who deny the Great Tribulation to get themselves a copy, cause they will need it to understand what is going on after they are "left behind":), when they realize they have believed lies, and they see the opened graves and the transformed to Glory believers, whom they see rise with their own eyes, they then can open the insurance policy written by Enoch, written for those who will repent and believe -but not get the glory- who must live through the tribulation trusting the Word of God on it's exact ending, and their own end after it, or die as martyrs during it, if they will have eternal life.

The whole problem with this approach is Jesus said in John 6:37-39;

37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.
38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
39 This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day.

Jude, the womb brother of the LORD Jesus, quoted from the very opening of Enoch's book about the return of the LORD to the earth to reign. Jude quoted from Enoch's own writing, when he called him; "Enoch the prophet, the seventh from Adam", and quoted him.

So Jude read the book, and knew his quote from the opening chapter is for the time after the tribulation.

Meantime, Enoch clearly lays down the foundation for the rapture of the "righteous" before the tribulation, in chapter 50, and tells that those who see it and repent and believe in the name of the Son of Man will be saved, but not get the glory.

What Enoch says about the Glory is that those raptured and changed in body before the tribulation do get the glory promised to the ones whom Jesus told to watch and pray so as to be counted worthy to escape the things coming on the earth and to stand before the Son of Man -in heaven's temple.
This is first described by Enoch, who wept great tears when he saw the things coming, which must come; but he did give great promises to those who would remain faithful to the death, or to when the Son of Man returns to set up His millennial kingdom.
The ending chapters of his book give those promises to those who are "left behind" and who either endure to the end and are saved or else martyred and are raised.

and here is how Enoch ends His writings:

Time-Capsule to the Last Generation
108 Another book which Enoch wrote for his son Methuselah and for those who will come after him, and keep the law in the last days.
2Ye who have done good shall wait for those days till an end is made of those who work evil, and an end of the might of the transgressors. 3And wait ye indeed till sin has passed away, for their names shall be blotted out of the book of life and out of the holy books, and their seed shall be destroyed for ever, and their spirits shall be slain, and they shall cry and make lamentation in a place that is a chaotic wilderness, and in the fire shall they burn; for there is no earth there.
4And I saw there something like an invisible cloud; for by reason of its depth I could not look over, and I saw a flame of fire blazing brightly, and things like shining mountains circling and sweeping to and fro.
5And I asked one of the holy angels who was with me and said unto him: "What is this shining thing? for it is not a heaven but only the flame of a blazing fire, and the voice of weeping and crying and lamentation and strong pain."
6And he said unto me: "This place which thou seest- here are cast the spirits of sinners and blasphemers, and of those who work wickedness, and of those who pervert everything that the Lord hath spoken through the mouth of the prophets- even the things that shall be.
7"For some of them are written and inscribed above in the heaven, in order that the angels may read them and know that which shall befall the sinners, and the spirits of the humble, and of those who have afflicted their bodies, and been recompensed by God; and of those who have been put to shame by wicked men: 8Who love God and loved neither gold nor silver nor any of the good things which are in the world, but gave over their bodies to torture.
9Who, since they came into being, longed not after earthly food, but regarded everything as a passing breath, and lived accordingly, and the Lord tried them much, and their spirits were found pure so that they should bless His name.

10"And all the blessings destined for them I have recounted in the books. And He hath assigned them their recompense, because they have been found to be such as loved heaven more than their life in the world, and though they were trodden under foot of wicked men, and experienced abuse and reviling from them and were put to shame, yet they blessed Me.
11"And now I will summon the spirits of the good who belong to the generation of light, and I will transform those who were born in darkness, who in the flesh were not recompensed with such honour as their faithfulness deserved.
12And I will bring forth in shining light those who have loved My holy name, and I will seat each on the throne of his honour.
13And they shall be resplendent for times without number; for righteousness is the judgement of God; for to the faithful He will give faithfulness in the habitation of upright paths.

14"And they shall see those who were born in darkness led into darkness, while the righteous shall be resplendent.
15And the sinners shall cry aloud and see them resplendent, and they indeed will go where days and seasons are prescribed for them."

Even though no believer will be "left behind" at the rapture (which will be post-trib), some believers will ultimately lose their salvation. John 6:37a applies only to initial salvation. For John 6:37b (like John 6:35b) apples only to those believers who continue to believe (John 15:6, Hebrews 3:6,12,14), do good works (John 15:2a, Romans 2:6-8), and repent from any sins that they might commit (Luke 13:3), to the end (Matthew 24:13; Hebrews 10:26-29). For Jesus will ultimately cast out some initially saved people because of such things as unrepentant sin (1 Corinthians 9:27), unrepentant laziness (John 15:2a,6), or apostasy (Hebrews 6:4-8), at the judgment of the church by Jesus at his 2nd coming (Luke 12:45-46, Matthew 25:26,30, Mark 8:35-38).

Regarding John 6:39, resurrection in itself doesn't assure a resurrection to eternal life, for one can be resurrected to damnation (John 5:29). This applies even to the elect. For even though they all get initially saved at some point during their lifetime (Acts 13:48b, John 6:37a), and Jesus won't physically lose any of them, but will physically resurrect all of them (John 6:39), at his 2nd coming (1 Corinthians 15:21-23), some of them will be resurrected to damnation (John 5:29), to shame and everlasting contempt (Daniel 12:2), because of such things as unrepentant sin (Hebrews 10:26-29), unrepentant laziness (Matthew 25:26,30), or apostasy (Hebrews 6:4-8). Also, at the subsequent resurrection, at the great white throne judgment, those whose names aren't found written in the book of life will be resurrected only to be judged and cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:11-15).

Jesus said "I will lose nothing"...so put away your commentaries and theologies, and believe what He said!!!

Jesus made it very clear there are wheat and tares...so you can try to advocate "loss of salvation" all you want..scripture doesn't support you, listen to 1 John 2:19-24
19 They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us.
20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know.
21 I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie is of the truth.
22 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.
23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.
24 As for you, let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.

Stop the theology..and read what God has said...anyone who doesn't continue until the end, were NEVER saved in the first place!

Some of the wheat could be burned, such as any wheat stalks that failed to bear fruit (cf. John 15:2a,6) because they got choked by thorns (cf. Luke 8:7,14) or because they withered in the sun due to having shallow roots (cf. Luke 8:6,13).

Also, 1 John 2:19 doesn't require that apostate believers were never real believers, but can mean that apostate believers were never of the overcomers to the end (Revelation 3:5, Revelation 2:26). Real believers who have their names written in the book of life can have their names blotted out if they fail to overcome to the end (Revelation 3:5, Revelation 2:26). People can really believe only for awhile before at some point wrongly employing their free will to depart from the faith, to no longer believe, to commit apostasy (Luke 8:13; 1 Timothy 4:1; 2 Thessalonians 2:3), to the ultimate loss of their salvation (Hebrews 6:4-8, John 15:6; 2 Timothy 2:12b).

Calvinism's mistaken doctrine of once-saved-always-saved through assured perseverance unwittingly ends up logically requiring that saved people are robots. For if saved people can't choose to do evil to the point where they can ultimately lose their salvation, then they no longer have free will. Also, the mistaken doctrine of assured perseverance unwittingly ends up logically requiring that a Christian can have no present assurance that he is truly saved. For if a Christian who doesn't persevere to the end was never truly saved, then no Christian can presently have the assurance that he is truly saved, for no Christian can know if he will persevere to the end. Down the road he could fail to persevere, and so end up showing that he was all along only a fake Christian, a self-deceived hypocrite.

But under true, Biblical doctrine, every believer in the gospel (of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, John 20:31) can know that he is presently saved (1 John 5:13; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) if when he became a believer in the gospel he repented from his sins (1 John 3:6) and confessed them to God (1 John 1:9). And he can be sure that as a saved person, he can never be separated from the love of God, so long as he loves God (Romans 8:28-39), which means to obey him (1 John 5:3, John 14:21-24). And no matter how many tests a saved person fails during his lifetime, sometime subsequent to his initial repentance, even if he fails and commits sin 70 times 7 times in a single day (Matthew 18:21-22, Luke 17:4), he can be sure that so long as he sincerely repents from every act of sin and confesses it to God, he will be completely forgiven (1 John 1:9). He will lose his salvation ultimately only if he wrongly employs his free will to do something like committing a sin without repentance (Hebrews 10:26-29; 1 Corinthians 9:27, Luke 12:45-46), or becoming utterly lazy without repentance (Matthew 25:26,30, John 15:2a, Romans 2:6-8), or committing apostasy (Hebrews 6:4-8, John 15:6; 2 Timothy 2:12).

You are one amazing woman Yeshuasavedme, so much wisdom. This also crossed my mind when I pondered what could The Great Awakening might be. Christ resurrected from His tomb, many saw and began to believe. Many too will begin to believe after The rapture of the saints.

But I do agree very much about why God raptured Enoch before the great flood (pre-trib rapture) and the only reason why Noah and his family was left were to build an ark to save the animals.

God always does something for a reason. Just another sign from Him of what's ahead, as in the days of Noah.

Very wrong! First understand that the 70 x 7 is something Jesus said to give you a clue. It's the 490 years in took for Jesus to come and make atonement for inquity as Daniel 9 says.

That's why Jesus said that! We are to understand that we forgive others just as God in Christ forgave us.

Work with that...

Enoch wasn't translated into the 3rd heaven so he wouldn't have to go through the Flood (along with righteous Noah in the ark). For Enoch (Noah's great grandfather) was translated 669 years before the Flood.

Noah's flood occurred about 2458 BC. This is based on verses in the Bible which make it possible to work back from the year that Solomon's temple began to be built: Historians say that it began to be built about 966 BC. And the scriptures show that it began to be built 480 years after Israel's Exodus from Egypt (1 Kings 6:1). And Israel had spent 430 years in Egypt before the Exodus (Exodus 12:40-41). And Israel entered Egypt when Jacob was 130 (Genesis 47:9). And Jacob was born when his father Isaac was 60 (Genesis 25:26). And Isaac was born when his father Abraham was 100 (Genesis 21:5). And Abraham was born when his father Terah was about 70 (Genesis 11:26). And Terah was born when his father Nahor was 29 (Genesis 11:24). And Nahor was born when his father Serug was 30 (Genesis 11:22). And Serug was born when his father Reu was 32 (Genesis 11:20). And Reu was born when his father Peleg was 30 (Genesis 11:18). And Peleg was born when his father Eber was 34 (Genesis 11:16). And Eber was born when his father Salah was 30 (Genesis 11:14). And Salah was born when his father Arphaxad was 35 (Genesis 11:12). And Arphaxad was born two years after the Flood (Genesis 11:10).

So all we have to do is add up the numbers of years above to see Noah's flood occurred about 2458 BC. Then, to determine when Enoch was translated, we need to work further back: If Arphaxad was born two years after the Flood, then Arphaxad was born about 2456 BC. And Arphaxad was born when his father Shem was 100 (Genesis 11:10). And Shem was born when his father Noah was 502 (Genesis 11:10, Genesis 7:6). And Noah was born when his father Lamech was 182 (Genesis 5:28-29). And Lamech was born when his father Methuselah was 187 (Genesis 5:25). And Methuselah was born when his father Enoch was 65 (Genesis 5:21).

Adding up the numbers of years above, we see Enoch was born about 3492 BC. He was translated when he was 365 (Genesis 5:23-24), so he was translated about 3127 BC, which was 669 years before the Flood. Adding these 669 years to Enoch's age of 365, we find Enoch was 1,034 at the time of the Flood. This means had he stayed on the earth, he would have almost certainly died from old age before the Flood came (cf. Isaiah 57:1). For Methuselah (Noah's grandfather) was the longest-living person who stayed on the earth, and he died at the age of 969 (Genesis 5:27), the same year as the Flood. For Enoch was born about 3492 BC and Methuselah was born when his father Enoch was 65 (Genesis 5:21). So Methuselah was born about 3427 BC and he died 969 years later, which was about 2458 BC, the same year as the Flood.

Methuselah could have died of old age right before the Flood started. God could have waited to bring the Flood until after Methuselah died of old age and was buried. Lamech (Noah's father) had already died some 5 years before the Flood. For Methuselah was born about 3427 BC and Lamech was born when his father Methuselah was 187 (Genesis 5:25). So Lamech was born about 3240 BC and he died 777 years later (Genesis 5:31), which was about 2463 BC, 5 years before the Flood.

God always does something for a reason.

The reason for the righteous church in all nations having to suffer through the future tribulation (Matthew 24:9-13, Revelation 13:7-10, Revelation 14:12-13, Revelation 20:4-6) could be the same as the reason for righteous Job having to go through his suffering at the hands of Satan (Job chapters 1-2), and the reason for the righteous, literal, first century AD local church congregation in the city of Smyrna (Revelation 2:8) in the Roman province of "Asia" (Revelation 1:11) having to suffer and die in a first century persecution (Revelation 2:10).

Job should be looked to by obedient Christians as an example of patient endurance through suffering (James 5:11). Just as God allowed Satan to bring suffering to righteous Job (Job chapters 1-2), so God sometimes allows Satan to bring suffering to obedient Christians (Revelation 2:10). And during the future tribulation of Revelation chapters 6 to 18 and Matthew 24, Satan will be allowed to unleash his wrath against obedient Christians in every nation (Revelation 12:9,17, Revelation 13:7-10, Revelation 14:12-13, Revelation 20:4-6, Matthew 24:9-13).

By the power of Satan working against Job (Job 1:12), he first suffered the loss of his wealth and servants from murderous robbers (Job 1:14,15,17) and a natural disaster (Job 1:16), and suffered the death of all his children in a natural disaster (Job 1:18-19). Then, again by the power of Satan working against him (Job 2:6), Job suffered the loss of his health (Job 2:7). But he remained patient through all his loss and suffering, never cursing God because of it (Job 2:9-10, Job 1:20-22), but wholly trusting in God through it all (Job 13:15).

Because of this, God greatly rewarded Job after his suffering was over, giving him twice as much wealth as he had had before (Job 42:10,12, Job 1:3), and giving him the same number of children as he had had before (Job 42:13, Job 1:2), and giving him a very long life (Job 42:16), so that he lived to see his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren (Job 42:16). While he was still suffering, Job mistakenly thought that his suffering was God's wrath against him (Job 19:11), when in fact God had no wrath against him, for he was righteous in God's eyes (Job 1:1,8, Job 2:3). Instead, Job was suffering from the hand of Satan (Job 1:12, Job 2:7). Similarly, during the future tribulation of Revelation chapters 6 to 18 and Matthew 24, the suffering of obedient Christians won't be God's wrath against them, but Satan's wrath against them (Revelation 12:9,17, cf. Revelation 2:10).

God allowed Satan to bring loss and suffering to Job in order to prove that Job didn't love God just because God had made him wealthy and secure (Job 1:9-12) and healthy (Job 2:4-6), but that Job would continue to love and trust God even if all his wealth, family, and health were stripped away from him. Indeed, Job would have continued to love God even if God had killed him (Job 13:15). This is the kind of love for God that Christians will need to have during the future tribulation. They will need to continue to love God even when he allows Satan (the dragon) and the Antichrist (the individual-man aspect of the beast) to make war against Biblical Christians and physically overcome them in every nation (Revelation 12:9,17, Revelation 13:7-10, Revelation 14:12-13, Matthew 24:9-13), stripping away all their wealth and family and leading them away to be beheaded (Revelation 20:4-6). Christians must so love God and so trust him that they have no fear of suffering or death (Revelation 2:10, Hebrews 2:15), knowing that even death will only bring their still-conscious souls into the presence of Jesus in heaven (2 Corinthians 5:8, Philippians 1:21,23, Revelation 6:9-10, Luke 23:43).

Christians mustn't love their mortal lives to where they will deny Jesus Christ and the Bible in order to keep from getting killed (Mark 8:35-38, John 12:25, Revelation 12:11), just as Christians mustn't love their families to the point where they will deny Jesus Christ and the Bible in order to keep their families from starving or getting killed (Matthew 10:37, Luke 14:26). And Christians mustn't love their wealth to the point where they will deny Jesus Christ and the Bible in order to keep their wealth from being taken away (Matthew 6:24; 1 Timothy 6:9-10). Jesus Christ requires Christians to forsake everything, even their own lives, for his sake (Luke 14:33, Luke 9:23, Matthew 10:38-39), just as he forsook everything, even his own life, for their sake (Philippians 2:6-8; 2 Corinthians 5:15; 1 Corinthians 15:3).

"Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy" (1 Peter 4:12-13).

Just another sign from Him of what's ahead, as in the days of Noah.

The unsaved people of the world will have no idea most of them are going to be killed at Jesus' 2nd coming until it happens (Matthew 24:37-39). For they could think the 2nd coming had already occurred with the coming into power of the Antichrist's miracle-working False Prophet (Revelation 13:13-14, Revelation 19:20), who could claim to be Jesus returned. And just as the people of the world shortly before Noah's flood, even though they could see or hear about Noah building his huge ark, no doubt rejected the idea that YHWH had the power to actually cause a global flood which would kill them, so the people of the world at the end of the future tribulation could reject the idea that YHWH has the power to actually defeat them.

For during the tribulation's 2nd half the world will see the power of Lucifer (Satan, the dragon) and his fallen angels (Revelation 12:9), and the power Lucifer will give to the Antichrist to take over the entire earth (Revelation 13:4-8) and to utterly revile YHWH year after year without being destroyed (Revelation 13:5-6, Daniel 11:36), and to physically overcome and kill people in the church in every nation (Revelation 13:7-10, Revelation 14:12-13, Revelation 20:4-6, Matthew 24:9-13). And the world will see the amazing miraculous powers that Lucifer will give to the Antichrist's False Prophet, by which he will be able to even call fire down from heaven in the sight of everyone (Revelation 13:13, cf. 2 Thessalonians 2:9).

And near the end of the future tribulation the world will see the Antichrist's defeat of YHWH's amazingly-powerful two witnesses (Revelation 11:3-9), after which defeat the world will rejoice and make merry and send gifts to each other because the two witnesses had been sending plagues on the world (Revelation 11:10,6). And even though those plagues will be shortly followed by even more plagues from YHWH, poured out directly from heaven (Revelation 16, the tribulation's final stage), the people of the world won't lose their confidence that YHWH can still be defeated. For after almost all the plagues from heaven are over, the world will see the awesome miraculous powers of some unclean spirits, convincing the world's armies to gather together for a battle against YHWH (Revelation 16:13-14, Revelation 19:19). And so the world could come to that battle at the very end of the tribulation with the same careless attitude as some people at the start of the American Civil War, who held picnics at the expected first battleground of Bull Run/Manassas to watch the battle and what they expected to be a quick and easy victory.
