Partial preterist have a safe house thread.

My dear brother,

I was in no way insulting your understanding of the Word. I was however considering a different interpretation irt the millenial Kingdom.

i am not a preterist, and I am indeed post trib. But b/c I feel that maybe a few passages in the Word were foreshadowing to even further events in the future, doesnt change my post trib theology.

I am glad to hear this. I am not a forum-nazi, it is just that I spend zero time trying to convince prebies and preterist that their views aren't accurate. It is not that I don't chat with prebies and preterist, they are still brothers and sisters in Christ.

My position on Bible prophecy is that the Prophetic Scriptures contain survival instructions for a pocket of believers. These believers are called and IMO they will be predominately post-trib. And the time is short so I limit my conversation with prebies and preterist.

In Yehoshua,
Guy Smith

Your right brother, time is short.

And no, it doesnt help us to argue theology. However, it is always fruitful to act as shepherd to those in the dark.

Because YES, our redemption is fast upon us.

Brethren, I know I have not been around here lately, but I have been lead to help "move the ball" in terms of organization. Please check out Wings of the Eagle - Home and especially Organize - Wings of the Eagle - please email me at mantei7000@gmail.com to send me any information you would like to be accessible so others may find you. The time indeed grows short when we can prepare. Obviously feel free to contact me anytime for any reason.

Love in our Lord Jesus,
Christopher

OK. I'm one of those who believe that we will be here to see the antiChrist come to power, the persecution of the faithful and the events fore told in Mat 24. That being said, would this verse not prove that there is no pretrib, only post rib?

Revelation 7:13_14
And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

To me. This proves that we will be here to see all this come crashing down around us but taken away before the worst of it.

Thoughts?

Shalom Kings servant,

I agree. What are your thoughts on Joel 2:32?

Shalom Kings servant,

I agree. What are your thoughts on Joel 2:32?

In Yehoshua,
Guy Smith

"But everyone who calls on the name of the name of the LORD will be saved, for some on Mount Zion in Jerusalem will escape, just as the LORD has said. These will be among the survivors whom the LORD has called"

I'm also not one who thinks that every last Christian will be taken away at the time of the Rapture. I believe with all my heart, He will leave some here to help guide others to Christ before God completely obliterates the earth. I have been told by others that when the Rapture happens, the Holy Spirit will be removed from the earth and because of that. It will be impossible for anyone to be saved but ( is there a Bible verse that supports that?) I believe that there is always hope, even to the very end.

As this verse says. Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved! Praise God almighty, every last one!!

Shalom King's servant,

Is it possible that just as God protected Noah, God is going to protect a group of believers and that God has established Mount Zion in Jerusalem as the place-of-refuge for these "survivors" to "escape" to?

When it comes to the Master, I put no limitations on what He can do. So yes, absolutely. Just as God provided for and protected Noah, I think there will be some of the faithful who are left behind in order to guide others to Christ before the final wrath of God is poorer out on humanity.

Of course, I'm not God nor do I know the plains He has. But I honestly believe that as long as the sun still rises, there is always hope for those who are yet lost.

Jesus is Coming here
we are gathered to Him here
the wrath is poured here

it doesn't really matter where we are,
if we are with Him when the wrath is poured out

and the wrath gets poured out after the entire tribulation has happened.

there will be no "guiding people to Christ during the worst of it" part
except maybe during the trib itself....

the trib is not the wrath...
it's what leads up to the wrath.

how one acts during the tribulation
will determine who ends up where at the end of it.

we are all here for that whole part.
no one is removed.

the wrath, well, it's probably not what people think to begin with...
it seems to be about either refinement(Millennium) or complete destruction,
or both.

anyway, if you believe ANY folks will be raptured before the AC and all that, then this is really not the thread for you

No, I think I made it clear that I believe we ( we being Christians ) will be here to see all of this come crashing down around us. We will be here to see the very worst of it but taken before God's final wrath is poored out on humanity.

I think that the Tribulation will be the final purification of the faithful so that God can see who will hold onto their faith and who will turn from it.

I agree.....

When the mark of the beast is thrust onto mankind, and one is forced to remain in society or be cast out, ostracized and criminalized, we will be forced to refine our faith.....will God provide for us, enough to sustain us for possibly seven full yrs of chaos? Will He protect us from those we once considered our brothers/sisters in Christ, but now consider us enemies of their new god and it's kingdom.

satan can imitate God by using the hands of men to do his work, but he can not create of his own. he will use man to build his kingdom, insisting all the while that man has saved himself from doom. From there, man will turn their praise away from God who spared them, to the antichrist who has given them credit for "being christ" by restoring a broken earth.:sorry:

#1. Yes He will sustain us and protect us. He always has and always will.
#2. But if a person is well grounded in the Word, then they will know satan's attempts to deceive them and will not turn from God. But then again, when it comes right down to it. Many will choose what they see as the easy way out. Not only those inside the church but outside as well!

Don't be nasty to your brethren please...

Remember - "The safe house is for discussion and not for debate. Debate is defined as: "Engaging in argument by discussing opposing points."

I'm not being nasty. I'm just not gong to drawn into an argument that has already been settled in The Bible. Which is why I said, if you want to know then read your Bible.

There is nothing nasty about pointing someone to the truth. When one seeks understanding then that's the first and only place to start!

Correct a Brother by showing him WHERE in the Bible he is in error. I can assure you, Zeke has read it - a lot.

Then why ask?
If He has read as much as you say then He should know who is taken and where they are taken don't you think? Also....He never made an incorrect statement so there was no need for correction, only a point in the right direction.
