I have been richly blessed by Brother Hagin's ministry. The Lord reached me when nobody else really could. I know that has been the case for many people who were unable to receive the Holy Spirit, stand, or walk in Christ.
He's been an inspiration for many and his school has raised up many wonderful ministers. The fruits of his life are very good, and he is respected by many.
I know when the new anointing the Lord gave him came, that people would have difficulty (people getting drunk in the Spirit). That is a real experience where it is hard to stand to ministers (2 Chron).
The woman issue was just that during those days. It is not in these days. The fruits bear that out. I've been blessed wonderful by women Apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers, AND pastors. God's not holding back, and that is the true test.
It would be good if you didn't "blast" your way into congregations and drop "bombs". It displays ignorance of the Word. Paul never did that. He became as whoever he preached to. Also your time on the forum will be shortlived by ignoring the rules (read the "sticky" in the Word of Faith thread directory tree).
We only know the Word in part. I know we've all made the same mistakes, but it hurts to see it happen.
I don't just "know this" because I figured this out on my own. The fruits have born out in Brother Hagin's ministry (tremendous anointing) as well as in the case of women ministers. There was a woman apostle in the NT and of course those who also prophesied. Hard to imagine an apostle not preaching!
Anyway, you don't win any points pouncing on anyone. You might look into the fruits of Hagin's life (not from head hunters websites). Look at the many ministry workers have been trained and sent all over the world. People who minister in the anointing. Read testimonies of people who were healed in his meetings, or who received on their own after they learned how from his teaching.
How embarrassing would it be if you walked into a meeting with the Lord and many holy angels and anointed servants of God and trounced in and declared (sowing discord among the brethren) things that are ignorant? It would be humiliating.
Remember Peter said, "..These are not drunk as you suppose!"
