Who is your favorite Televangelist?

I guess, as WOF, it bothers me that many here are saying they can listen to those who aren't WOF and/or preach things against WOF or being Spirit-filled.

Maybe it is a matter of "chewing the meat & spitting out the bones"? To me, there's way too many bones to spit out with some of these greasy grace or 'half-gospel' teachers.

I like the solid Word, "meat" teachers.

The thing is, not everyone identifies themselves as being "WOF". Really, there isn't a WOF. It's an acknowledgment of faith precepts. Some go as far as to say it, but many are just strong, faith believing, Word of God first, Holy Spirit overcomers without any tags or titles.

Some do have a different take on grace and sin (which is totally beyond me), but even though I don't fully agree with A. Wommack on that issue, I rode to school for an hour in the 80's and heard his show every day. I got fed regularly and I know he is anointed.

Speaking of Brother Hagin, I was reading (I think it was Kevin Basconi's books), and he mentioned in one of his trips to Heaven (there were many), that he saw Kenneth Hagin and asked him something.

One thing he really wanted to get across to Kevin is that we're supposed to be enjoying our lives down here. I guess to Hagin that was an elusive concept in his day for a lot of it. It is for me too!

The way things are set up, we're supposed to be victorious all of the time, and until we learn it, we suffer more than need be.

If I remember correct, Pastor Morris is James and Betty Robison's pastor.
Pastor Morris is a good compassionate man of God...

My favourites are Arnold Murray and Jack Van Impe.

I like Jack Van Impe. He always has something interesting to say.

I'm with you on this.

The Lord said to be careful how and what we hear (Luke 8:18, Mark 4:24) AND a student can be no better than his teacher (Luke 6:40, Matthew 10:24).

I ask the Lord who to listen to because I don't like spitting out bones either.

I listen to ONLY strong Word of Faith teachers, because I want to be a strong Word of Faith believer.

K. Hagin Sr., C. Capps, K. Copeland, are my favorites.

Miss him how? As a false teacher? That's what he is! He pushed the false teaching of "slain or drunk in the spirit" men and women sliding out if their chairs onto the floor and being out of control is NOTHING the Holy Spirit would have a part of and is based on speaking in tongues which has Nothing to do with acting as if your drunk out of control laughing... Besides those who said: they are drunk were considered "scoffers" iqnorant of God and then mr Hagen does just as the scoffers do.... There's absolutly No Scripture for this and that leave only one thing.... Rodney Howard browne push the same demonic garbage that is NOT BASED ON SCRIPTURE!

Christians simply do not for the most part put these teachers up to the word to decide if their good or not instead that's decided by how good they feel at their church.... Go watch mr Hagen on YouTube and see him acting like a drunk idiot....

If you read and GO by Gods word you'll see that from Eve being the first to be decieved till the time Paul TAUGHT on it and that teaching was still


WOMEN ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO TEACH - no where does the bible teach otherwise! Period! So now then do you suppose God will go against His word and teach that woman so that she can then go AGAINST His word and teach HIS WORD?

Doctrine - the sheep simply trust their preachers and teachers if their core beliefs sound correct.... The basics... Then they trust their preachers whichare always teaching the milk of the word.... Not to mention all their churches are irs tax exempt 501.c3 or c4 which makes the irs the head of their church yet time and again they will argue not my church or pastor yet if your church has a board of directors - it does - then the irs sets rules and it was all out in place to slience the churches in the 50's why else is it that your churches don't go out and march and lead voting against inappropriate content gambling or anything else?

Cause they can't...... That's also why most Christians believe it's wrong to get involved in politics and that's so the devils men can make all the laws while Gods so called shepards stay inside their four walls for the most part


Go see for yourselfs and educate yourselfs - ask your pastor to make a Public statement that were to follow Gods laws instead of mans.... He won't do it cause the IRS would come down on Him....

Btw FYI your church already was tax exempt under federal law but when Satan dangles a carrot under their noses they take those extra exemptions....

The word televangelist has created much disdain from the body of Christ and those opposed to the Gospel. I'm thankful that the Holy Spirit coupled with God's Holy word will give discernment concerning any preaching be it on television, radio, live, etc...
