Nice to see you, David.
Mr Gould...
What's the worst thing you've ever done to someone? Barring, of course, anything the statute of limitations hasn't run out on yet.
Politically, I'm still a libertarian. Regarding recent events, I think that Edward Snowden is a heroic whistleblower, and I applaud the recent trend towards legalizing gay marriage.
Regarding the environment, I'm more worried that we might end up in another Ice Age than that the Earth might heat up a little more.
As for my personal life, I'm still employed full time for a decent wage. That alone is reason to be thankful.
I'm still living in Sweden, and the Swedish winter darkness is limiting the operations of my mind. I swear I lose several IQ points. But I make due.
eudaimonia,
Mark
Well, when saying it was my biggest interest I didn´t mean to say I was particularly successful at it.
So I understand this is your first teaching job? What do you teach?
Yes, it´s about very few very simple techniques. But I think there is some more to it...it´s also some kind of philosophy.
Uhm, the selection of songs follows the question "What songs can I do with my limited singing skills?" rather than my musical preferences.
Did some country-esque duets lately - with the guy being on the rough, dirty side and the girl doing the beautiful stuff, if you know what I mean (think Cash/Carter). Also, I am butchering some Tom Waits songs.
Cool! In your preparations for that task, what do you focus on most?My first, yes. I will be teaching mathematics to year 11 students (15 to 17 will be the age range).
A very tricky question.
A strong candidate for my worst act would have been to participate in the bullying of an intellectually disabled child when I was in primary school.
Another candidate would have been my reaction to a revelation of sexual abuse when I was in my early 20s. It is not that I did anything bad; it was just that I did not do enough.
