Yes, that's true it was prepared.
It's a slight technicality, but it shuts up those* who say God created Hell in Genesis 1.

* Gets them started, actually.

So it wasn't originally made for human souls but the bad ones go there anyway, against an all-powerful gods wishes? Or did he make it a rule of the universe that the flawed humans he made could end up there for an eternity because he doesn't make himself apparent to them?

Dear Delphiki, God knew that some would be evil IF he gave Humans Free choice. Can you look around this world and see the evil in mankind?

Is any crime worthy of an eternal punishment? Is what Lucifer did worthy of eternal punishment? If a human similarly punishes another for a similar "crime", is that justice?

Yes, since it is everyone's Free choice of eternal life or eternal death. ONLY the evil choose death and they get what they truly deserve.

Is dying and going to hell for a couple nights, knowing you can leave at any time, then coming back to life before going to heaven really a way to redeem the souls of the billions of people who will suffer there for eternity really justice?

Yes, since Jesus had FAITH that the Father would resurrect Him. Do you have such faith? If not, then resurrection will be a Nightmare for you.

If I lock my child in the basement for the rest of his natural life for challenging my authority, is that justice?

That is evil coming out of men, by placing themselves in God's position. God is NOT mocked:

Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

In Love,
Aman

Name one crime that you honestly think is justifiably punished by an eternity of suffering.
Crime?

None.

In this country, some things are called "sins."

Like committing the unpardonable one.

Good ... do you see me hiding anything?

Yes. And so should you.

I'm well aware of the "mess" those who name the name of Christ place themselves in.

The old resort of threats. Usually a sign that the creationist feels cornered.

Don't you mean "persecutions"?

Aren't we Christians supposed to have a persecution complex if we complain that someone cut in front of us in line?

And that unpardonable sin is?

And you are well aware what an eternity is?

And that God prepared this eternal place of suffering?

If I send my child to the basement to live out the rest of his natural life for telling me I'm not his father, is that appropriate?

No, I mean cornered. As in squirming, which is what you are doing now in a desperate attempt not to have to answer a straight question about hell because you are terrified of the consequences.

The real tragedy here is that hell can only be created in one place, and you are there.

Blasphemy of the Holy Ghost.

Did you first warn him ... in writing?

Did you send his brother to him, only to see him kill his brother?

Did you then send others, only to see him kill them as well?

Luke 20:9 Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time.
Luke 20:10 And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty.
Luke 20:11 And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.
Luke 20:12 And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out.
Luke 20:13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.
Luke 20:14 But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.
Luke 20:15 So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them?

And for the record, your analogy is way off.

NONE of God's children are "going to the basement."

Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
