Want a Deeper Fellowship with God? Preach His Word!

II Timothy 4:2: "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine."

Haven't been called to preach? Look at the Words of Jesus:

John 15:16: "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."

Preach: "to advocate earnestly"

One thing I've noticed, Is that the more we do what God has told us to do. Such as preaching His Word. The more peace, and joy He blesses us with.

And yes, even more. It is like desert after a fine meal. There is a sweetness in our mouths when we preach His Word.

Psalms 119:103: "How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!"

What a reward for preaching the Word in obedience: Peace, Joy and Sweetness!

I can imagine a whole family of people. If we can't keep them straight, we'll have brothers and sisters fighting. Lucky the Gospel is here .
