All of our home toilets put up with a heavy work load just fine, and they're the new low flow variety.

Remember years ago the guy who got busted,I think it was in New York state, coming across the border from Canada with full flow flush toilets? American border security nailed him as if he had been smuggling opium.

I know. It's funny (in a sad way) that people complaining about something being unconstitutional haven't actually bothered to read the constitution.

I've been in a situation where we had to use a small cup of water to flush an RV toilet while stranded after a hurricane. We had very little water so this was something we tried to do as little as possible. Get in a situation like that, and you realize just how wasteful every day life is.
Water is precious. Sometimes I have to keep reminding myself of living in the RV to remember that.

What I find the most amusing is that in a decade, CFL'S will be the new "scourge of the environment", as millions of people who don't know, don't care, or can't afford the fee, will have been throwing their mercury laden bulbs into the trash, rather than disposing of them properly! Mark my words!

Home Depot, Lowes, and every other hardware store take them back no fee. Where is there a fee?

Really? Got any numbers on lumens out put for the LED compared to an incandescent?
I've seen plenty of LED lights that do as well or better than incandescent and their lumens/watt are higher than incandescent.
Perhaps you are just unhappy with the "color temperature" of the LED?
