So with the holidays coming up, maybe some of us are feeling a little lonely or blue about being single. I'd love to pray for some of you who would like prayers for a future husband/wife, and would feel very grateful to anyone who would like to pray for me!

1. My ideal mate would be one who is deeply loving and caring and knows how to take care of others. What is essential is his actions back up his words and he has a good moral compass and self control. He doesn't need to be wealthy, but he needs to be diligent and can motivate me to put in my best. He must accept me for who I am, the good and the bad, and help me to become more godly and Christ-like. And yes, I want him to be a virgin because this to me is what a person with good moral character has and shows that he values virginity as much as I do and knows to have self control about this.

If you are still doing this........

1. a girl that I would find physically attractive and be attracted to, kind, compassionate, friendly, be herself, be a Christian who is working towards having a complete relationship with God. Would not be heavy into the party scene but would like to socialize, would be affectionate with me (hugging, kissing, etc), sense of humor, not blow me off/ignore me, share the same values/morals, have similar interests (working out, socializing outside of home, relaxing at home), like to play soccer because outside of my Christian walk, that is the thing I have the most passion for... I have always imagined my future wife as one of my actual teammates on an actual team , be no more than 9-10 years younger than me and/or 5-6 years older than me. Can accept me for my shortcomings, faults, weaknesses, is the least bit interested in a future marriage
I am sure I could put a lot more but I just wanted to include what I think is the most important to me

2. I am always meeting new people but I feel like I am not around them enough to get to know them. I did meet a woman on vacation who I am friends with and I developed feelings. But she is five years older and we live over 1,000 miles apart. She is the one I am most interested in right now.

At certain points in my life, I hardly realized I was single and at other times, I truly desired a marriage-bound relationship. I have been guilty of not having faith in God to bring this to me if He wills it and in His timing. I will continue to have faith and believe I will marry.. unless God reveals to me otherwise

The kind that says he wants to "guard my heart" and "pursue me with purpose". As dumb as that sounds.

As far as I go, God knows what I need and I'll leave the details up to him.
But I will say that I'd like to marry someone who is my best friend, kind and loyal.
