Transliterate to Greek the letters of Xaver and the total equals 666.

Xavier equals 676 if memory serves me correctly.

Took me about a week a find name which adds up to 666.

Alpha first letter has value of 1 - Omega last letter of Greek alphabet has value of 800. I believe value of Christ in Greek is 801. So when Jesus says he is alpha and omega he is giving you a hint of being the Messiah.

In Hebrew the word and numerical value is called gematria.

Hi Mark, I use this site as a gematria calculator. xaver Gematria Value - English Gematria Calculator

I look to see if the name equals 666 in the first of the three calculators - the Jewish.

xaver didn't work for 666 when I tried it.

But Bacchus Linus did. Do you know why I tried Bacchus Linus ?

The problem with Xaver not equaling 666 is you used the Jewish gematria. New Testament written in Greek. You have to use Greek calculator.

Classical Greek Numbers

x = xi - 60
a = alpha - 1
v = phi - 500
e = epsilon - 5
r = rho - 100
Total 666

One guess for Bacchus Linus is Linus is lion and Bacchus is Roman name for Dionysos, god of wine and ectasy in Greek.

But I will bite and ask, so tell me why you used Bacchus Linus?
