I am on a 14 day South Pacific cruise. I see that the SDA have done much work here. The word of God is good... No complaints. Wish I could upload pictures... Finicky server wont let me do it!

I passed what looked like a tent revival on one of the islands just north of Tahiti... Now that would have been fun! The Islanders are naturally sweet people. I can only imagine what it would be with a good blessing from the Holy Spirit!

Satellite internet is expensive cant chat long. On a tour bus while passing the revival at Huahine, couldn't stop. Will pray for China b7. I am closed captioning the videos on my website at rockytopva - YouTube. Hoping to reach people of all tongues. Praying also for the great firewall of China to come down.
Prayer for Papeete. The islanders are naturally sweet people. I am passing a lot of graffiti saying things like, "*uck the Police!" I asked my tour guide what was going on as the Polynesian people I met were really sweet. She said that the DVD player brought the trouble. So it looks like Hollywood is sewing much evil there. Kinda sad. I will keep these people in prayer long after I have left!
I was thinking with a little humor... The tour guide seemed proud that the word of God came to Papeete while shewing us the printing press there. I just know that with the SDA, they got more than just the New Testament!

I just learned today that the inhabitants of Pitcairn Island, the descendants of the Bounty mutineers and their Tahitian companions, were entirely converted to Seventh Day Adventism by missionaries. Makes you wonder what would have happened if Lutherans had gotten there first.
FWIW, Lutheran missionaries were very successful in Madagascar, as well as several locations in East and West Africa. Today there are more African Lutherans than American Lutherans.

Brother MoreCoffee... Thank you for the well wishes. I am now on the island of Raiatea. There is a beautiful Catholic church in the middle of town that stays open. The islanders will pass by the open doors and do their little hand gesture and bow at the door as if Christ himself were there.

The whole trip has been divine. Food has been great. They give everything fancy names.Yesterday I got shiska-bobs on the side of a large plate and put all kind of salad in between. They take french toast and mix it with a variety of tropical things (like coconut) making them vary similar to donuts in taste. The cruise has been a dream. Lovin it! Every time I go somewhere and forget my camera I regret it. I was eating on the end of the ship and what do you know a rainbow just appears on the ocean. I love the Southern Cross constellation. Puts me in mind of the old Crosby, Stills & Nash song - The Southern Cross....
