Hi guys! Another vegetarian here! :)

I'm trying to be a vegetarian, any tips on how to convince my parents? :)

Well, first of all you'll have to STAY a vegetarian. When they see that you are serious about vegetarianism, they will respect your choice. If you are lucky, they will consider vegetarianism themselves. But remember that lifestyle issues are hard to change, so don't give up if there seemingly are no change on their part for a while.

It's calorie dense, very fatty, unethical, average protein source...

Meanwhile tofu has very low calorie, very lean, ethical, one of the best protein sources...

Tofu is awesome!

All of my life. I was raised vegetarian and changed to a vegan diet when I was in my early 30s. I've never regretted the decision to eat ethically, and live better for it.
