Hello, I am a vegetarian! I’ve only been one for around a year and a half though. My boyfriend became one around the same time, so it’s great that we eat the same foods!

Hi guys! Another vegetarian here! 
Well, first of all you'll have to STAY a vegetarian. When they see that you are serious about vegetarianism, they will respect your choice. If you are lucky, they will consider vegetarianism themselves. But remember that lifestyle issues are hard to change, so don't give up if there seemingly are no change on their part for a while.
I'm trying to be a vegetarian, any tips on how to convince my parents?

It's calorie dense, very fatty, unethical, average protein source...
Meanwhile tofu has very low calorie, very lean, ethical, one of the best protein sources...
Tofu is awesome!
