...I drive to take care of business at the bank or post office & every single time they are closed. Argh!

No one has ever gotten so much honor for being so insanely stupidly lucky in the history of the world.

Everyone knew the earth was a sphere when Columbus sailed. . . no one thought they would fall off the edge of the earth. . . . The dispute was about how big the earth actually was. . . A dispute in which Columbus was dead freaking wrong.

If the Americas had not been in his way him and his entire crew would have been lost at sea.

Consider the times and the lack of knowledge they had back then. It was a major accomplishment.

Heck, they sailed into the unknown without charts or even any way to measure longitude accurately.

I'd have an ATM account so I wouldn't have to drive back...

I'm lucky, my bank is in Texas and I'm in California, everything's done online, and very secure.

I thought I heard the mailman outside, but it was just the guy who delivers coupons/sale-papers to my porch. I gathered my mail to give to the mailman before I realized he wouldn't be around today. So, I kinda remembered. :sorry:
