If tomorrow is Judgement Day?
If tomorrow is Judgement Day, and the LORD ask you, "what did you do with your life?" What will you say?
I would say "Lord! I tried to live my life in righteousness, unselfishness and love
and tho I may have fallen a little short, please forgive me for my short comings!"

Jam 4:
13 Now listen, ye who say 'Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.'
14 Why, ye do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life?
Ye are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
15 Instead, ye ought to say, 'If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.'

Judgment is going forth now for the professed believers, as we are in the Day of Atonement [Lev 16, 23 etc see also Dan & Rev], and for the wicked, they are already condemned:

Professed Believers:

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Revelation 14:6

Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. Revelation 14:7

I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. Daniel 7:9

A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. Daniel 7:10

Wicked:

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18

The Rewards are with Him when He comes:

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Revelation 22:12

I think a good answer might be:

I died to myself and lived for you.

(Not saying that's what I've done,
just saying that would be the great
thing I'd want to be able to say)

Let's just say that I hope that tomorrow isn't Judgment Day. In all honesty, I still feel as if I've barely reached the starting line, let alone the finish line.

He would not ask that....Gods very presence will be so awesome and it will surround us and go through us and there will be crying and crying and crying as our hearts are revealed...God knows all but he will let us see our own hearts....we will be convicted and we will know that his ways are just and that we have sinned...
well he does that right here on earth...but I imagine that will be the way it is on judgement day. Not sure if the sheep will still have to go through that....hopefully it is Gods love and mercy that flows through us...its not a pretty feeling when God shows us our hearts :(

God knows we doubt ourselves and that the op[inion of men can stop us in our tracks at times...that is why we need to focus on God and how he sees us and we need to step out and love...we know why we are stuck...we can feel the chains...he who is free is free indeed! We all seem to have walls that need to come down...

God knows all...

It will be for a lot of people. Hebrews 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" So tomorrow may very well be our judgement day. Might be good to be ready.

I agree with you that it's good to be ready. My own trepidation is very much in line with Jesus' parable of the talents. It's not that I've deliberately buried my own, but it just seems like everything in this world is pitted against me to keep me too preoccupied/busy with the same, thereby not having enough time to fully focus on serving God. Especially my job by which I support my wife and children. Seriously, my job keeps me busier than Paul on his missionary journeys and I'm not the least bit happy about it, but I seem to be stuck at the moment...and it's been a very long "moment".

I would be honest: "Not enough." I could point out how I've tried to uproot certain sins in my life, and I've tried to love others through financial assistance, practical assistance, and education (such as teaching others on my blog). However, I'd also have to confess that I just didn't love God or people enough. I'm still working on that.

Dear Lion King. Your question is very important, we should always be ready
to meet God. What does our Heavenly Father want from us, and we know that God Loves us. I would think of Luke 10: 25-28: A certain Lawyer asked Jesus: " Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" Jesus asked him:
" what is written in the law? " The Lawyer answered: " Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind;
and thy neighbour as thyself." And Jesus said unto him: Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live."
This will be my answer to God our Heavenly Father. I shall say: Dear God, I have tried to follow the Commandments to Love God with all my heart, with all my soul and with all my mind, and love my neighbour as myself."
God will know my heart and God will know whether I really tried, or just pretended to. God will know how hard it really is for us, in this imperfect world, and God will also know that Jesus our Saviour is always ready to help and guide us. Jesus told us to " ask and ye shall receive," then we ask God for Love and Joy, and thank God, and then share all Love and Joy with all we know and all we meet, friends and not friends: our neighbour. We have much time to learn to become as God wants us to be: LOVE GOD WITH ALL OUR BEINGS, AND LOVE OUR NEIGHBOUR AS OURSELVES. ( MATTHEW 7: 7-10)
I say this with love, Lion King. Greetings from Emmy, your sister in Christ.

If tomorrow is Judgement Day, and the LORD ask you, "what did you do with your life?" What will you say?

If one obeys God's Way, which is to be born again (or from above).

They have already been judged.

That judgment because of the Blood of Jesus is "not guilty".

There is a judgment day for those who for whatever reason rejected the word to be born again.

That is a final judgment day know as the Great White Throne Judgment.

Don't be there!

If ya aren't.

Be born again(or from above).

:)
