With the huge amount of audio media about today ranging from podcasts, MP3s to the humble cassette, how does all this compare with the amount of information that can be retained and faith strengthened from books.
The reason I ask is because I bought Kenneth Copeland's book, "The Blessing" and a downloadable MP3 recently. I learnt a lot from the book but I am finding the preaching going off in tangents and a lot of anecdotes that will probably become annoying if I relisten to the MP3.
I recall that most of my learning at university came from books rather than from lectures.
historically, I have bought audio material from their ease but I am wondering if I am missing out by not buying more books.
