Funny we never hear the politicians talking about their bills full of bacon.
It is called pork barrel spending, not bacon barrel.
Rand Paul should apologize for his insulting comment.

If you don't understand the distinction perhaps you should ask yourself a question:
Is John Stewart a US senator?
It's probably inappropriate both for Paul to call Christie the king of bacon both in the literal sense making a fat joke about him and in the figurative sense that he is big on pork barrel spending.
Christie asked for an entirely appropriate disaster relief bill to be passed for his state, he isn't responcable for the Pork that the legislature attached to it (nor is he in position to do anything about it).
This is a tiff because the two will be running against each other for President soon, and it's a bit early for fat jokes.
