The Sun ?

I know you have an answer for this just like you did for your fossil question, so why don't you just post your opinion and asks for our impressions instead of misleading with an apparently "honest" question?

The expanding universe does not affect the distance between the Sun and the Earth. That distance is very small compared to the known size of the universe so the rate of spreading is exceedingly small. Add on to that the fact that our distance from the Sun is controlled by gravity and you would find no measurable spreading since the birth of the Sun, and that is even with taking into account that the Sun is getting lighter.

So even though the moon is moving away from the earth that does not have an effect on their relationship with the sun?

This increase in energy is causing the acceleration, hence it is slowly expanding its orbit. Energy directly from the Sun and also because it is moving in the Earth's Time varying magnetic field, just as the earth and Venus move in the Sun's time varying magnetic field.

So yes, the Sun certainly affects it, just not in the way they imagine.
