I'm having so much fun with my new phone. It's the first smartphone I've ever had. I'm not a fan of cellphones in general, but to be honest, I got mostly for the apps (though I also needed a cellphone, especially with a baby). I've gotten some good apps, for fitness, learning Mandarin (so I can hopefully talk to my in-laws some day), free books, and other stuff. Though I still prefer using my laptop for things like Facebook.

I put all my preggo clothes in the wash and thought I only had my robe to wear, but then I discovered I can get my preggo belly into the same dress I wore on our honeymoon. Of course I look a bit different in it since I have a baby belly, but I feel pretteh :sohappy:

I do not know what my issue is with tv shows. For some reason, I must see them through til the end, if it's a series I once loved. It happened with West Wing and now Mad Men. Those two shows I stuck/stick with because they had end dates by the they went downhill. Doctor Who is borderline with me, too, though there's no end date there. It all depends on what they announce soon and how that goes.

Oddly, with Doctor Who I have re-watched seasons I wasn't as much of a fan of and ended up liking it more.

I totally understand the sticking through a series until it is done.

We got takeout tonight and watched Life of Pi. It was interesting. I'm going to look up more about it because I am a dork like that. Meanwhile, it is back to sitting here with the heating pad and using the contraction timer.

I still have a stuffy nose from the cold I've had this week. I could take medicine for it and take care of that, but it would knock me out. I'm slightly worried to take it, though, because the contractions have not stopped yet. Hrrm.

I've posted plenty about my father in the past, so I'll not go into details now, but normally I skip church on Father's Day. It was just too uncomfortable for me. This year will be different. This is the first year that I can easily just focus on Puffca and what a great father he is to our son. Too bad he's a poopy head about Father's Day and won't let me get him anything (even a card) because he thinks it's a fake holiday.

That's wonderful to hear. It's great how new circumstances can blot out old memories and make an event something new entirely. I'm truly happy for you.
Happy Father's Day to Puffca. :)

Henrietta, I can relate. I get my dad a card out of respect, but it's always "awkward". It's always hard to find a card, cause they say things like "you made me who I am today" (uh, NO, he didn't) and "thanks for always being there" (uh, NO, he wasn't), etc. I usually manage to find something if I look for a while, though lol.

But now I can lavish attention on Don during the "fatherly" holidays :) It's nice!

Exhausted today. I think I woke up every 15-30 minutes last night moaning and writhing around from having contractions or from having to go to the bathroom. I finally got an actual stretch of sleep between 9-11am this morning. Since this seems to be my new nightly thing and it seems to be getting worse over time, I'm sure this last full week of work is going to be sleep deprived and super duper fun. Oh well, I guess getting sleep between contractions is better than what I was going through a few weeks ago where I was only getting an hour or two of sleep a night.

The contractions have finally stopped for now. I think this morning Kirk was slightly concerned that he would be getting a baby for Father's Day :D He was like "you could be in actual labor" and I was like "don't care want sleep". LOL. I think if I was in real labor, going back to sleep wouldn't be in the forefront of my mind. ^_^
