[Open Dr Who fan members] calling Dr Who fans (4)

Well, I'm behind the times. I just finished watching "Angels Take Manhattan." and that took three sittings with a few weeks in between to get through it. I'm a wuss when it comes to weeping angels. Weeping angels are creepier than zombies. But I couldn't skip it, I had to get through it before going forward.

Really, TomTom did they seriously use that

Commander Strax was perhaps the only enjoyable element of Sweetville. Other than his comic relief, I thought it to be the worst episode EVER. Who wrote that episode?

I think i'm in love with Clara.

Wait. Are the Weeping Angels supposed to be a dig at the Church? They touch you and put you back in time. And are realy, really creepy.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA.....Oh man. The only thing that makes me sad of this post beside the hilarity of it all is that its the last episodes of river song ... Ps I'm borrowing this!

Enjoyed the last episode. The "Jekyll and Hyde" aspect was kind of good. Wish they would have shown a little more about how the kids came to travel with them.

Do you really think we'll learn the name of the Doctor? Who Clara is? Wouldn't it be a hoot if the Doctor's name really was John Smith, or I.M. Foreman? Is Clara a Time Lord? The Daughter of the Face of Boe? The 12th Doctor? Susan's daughter? Reincarnated Jenny?

The writer, Neil Gaiman, of the last episode said it was heavily edited

Steven Moffat has said we will 100% know who Clara is by the end of this next episode, the end of this season. I think he also indicated it was a dark episode.

The next show is the end of the season already?????

Yup end of season 7. RiverSong will be in it too!

We have the 50th anniversary this fall, and then the Christmas speical.

Matt Smith I think is supposed to stay through season 8, THEN we get the new Doctor.

I'm not 100% on that timeline though.

I was a bit disappointed that there was little down with the amusement park..planet. Also taking the children along came out of nowhere. And if I were their nanny, I would firmly say "no". Clara has been on adventures with The Doctor and has seen people die and how dangerous it is and that The Doctor does not always end up at the place he said he was going to bring you. No matter what those children might say, you would say no, because you are their caretaker. You are paid for it and have the responsibility. So I found that kind of odd and the children had little purpose in the story anyway.

I did really like the speeding Cyberman. That just made him seem very dangerous. But I wish the writers did not feel the need to bring back the Daleks and Cybermen every season. It just lacks impact for me, when they become stock villains and when they show up and get wiped out again, forever failing.

But he only took them to an amusement park What could possibly go wrong? No, I was much more worried about the way the let the children run out the Tardis door and go home by themselves, assuming it was the right street, in the right city, in the right decade.
