1. I am not catholic but want to convert when I am older. though, I consider myself one because I love the teachings :D

I said, ''Mother Mary, I feel bad about ….. Please come''

''Do not worry,'' she said. ''We are here for you, we love you in heaven, we are working towards your dreams to make them come true. With God, anything is possible, and I know what you are thinking.. that this is your imagination, it is not your imagination, it is I, mother mary''

I thanked her for her words of encouragement and told her I felt better

she said, ''No problem. I am your mother, do not fear me. Talk to me whenever you need me but just know, I am always here no matter what, along with Jesus''

I was inspired to do this because of a sign Mother Mary gave me and a saying from Joan of Arc, ''how else would I talk to God, if not through my imagination?''
problem is I do not know if this is really my blessed mother or not. Thank you.

Wow!

She has not said anything untoward toward the Faith. Sounds like you had a gift especially for you. I'd take it & run with it.

Amen--same here!

thank you all:)

Edit:
also, one time I wanted to be sin-free and some websites said no then she said, ''don't listen to these people, it is possible to be sin-free but it would be difficult'' in a loving voice [of course]... is THAT real or not, because that came out of the blue, I wasn't expecting it at all.

I'm going to recommend a different path than the others. We are encouraged by the Church to be very careful with private revelations. There is nothing required for our salvation that has not been revealed through the Church. Yes, a lucky few have been blessed by visits from Mary, but I suspect that many more have been fooled, either by their own minds or by darker forces, into believing that they were. My advice to you is, if she visits and everything she says sounds legit, be agnostic about it. If she says anything that seems amiss, you know to ignore it. Do tell your Priest and your therapist about your vision and see what they have to say.

 Good advice. Altho I don't know about if she has a therapist.

:crossrc: I pray for your discernment.
And i pray - for your encouragement.

No one on earth knows - but the thing is - if it leads you to the Lord - strong in faith and helps you live more saintly - then so be it.

Peace be with you.

I have something similar....

In bed, as I lay there to go to sleep, I picture myself going to a pretty garden with a cement bench...and Mary is waiting there...and she loox like she does in pictures we see...I take my hat off and we sit and talk...like old friends...
I tell her my concerns or things I did through the day...
And if I had a bad day, she encourages me...she smiles at me, even touches my hand like a Mother does when consoling you...

Now would this just be ME making this up in my mind or could I actually be visiting with our Mother IN my mind?

Thoughts, opinions?

I don't understand why people would believe demons would lead people into feeling they've been touched by Jesus or Mary, or anyone else in heaven, leaving the person feeling great and blessed. Those demons are doing a terrible job lol.

also, who the heck just has a therapist? Comments like, "speak to your therapist" always baffle me. 99 percent of people I know don't just have a therapist on call.

Both. :) Your imagination is actively creating the images, but the imagination is a tool that can be used to facilitate prayer. So you are visiting with Mary, using your imagination. Sometimes, especially when I'm bored or tired at work, I imagine the Christ Child showing up to give me a big hug.

The only important thing to note is that the images we create in our minds are not Jesus and Mary themselves and that they (Jesus and Mary) are much greater. We aren't puppetmasters dictating their actions; we're just creating images that direct our thoughts and feelings to the real objects. :)

Yes, a demon could not utter the words, "you must believe the word of Jesus." and it's not something an imagination like mine could conjour up, that spent zero time thinking of anything biblical. Nudgeing a person to read the bible and study it is hardly the fruit of evil. discernment is very important.

Child of God, our Mother desires that we follow Jesus and all the saints in heaven pray for the same. It was her you perceived and do not let another tell you otherwise. Follow the grace of God. Confess and receive the Blessed Sacrament. Forsake the world but not the people of it.

I said "if you have one." People with a history of delusions or other mental problems often will. There are several common disorders that cause people to believe that they are recieving messages from God or communicating with visions or ghosts. That might not be what is happening here, but it is important to rule it out.

Whether spirits are of demonic origin or not is not as open-and-shut as you suggest. If it were, the Church would conclude that Medjugorie is legit, because quite often the messages are consistent with Scripture or Tradition.

So actually, I could be in a type of real communication with her? I like that thought...and it's nice, there is nothing fancy, it's just sitting there and conversing like close friends...and usually afterward, I drift off to sleep...nice way to end the night..:)

Because they are not telling you to go to Christ, really, but to calm down. What OP said sounds like an enemy infiltration to me. We are to seek the will of God in the Scriptures, nowhere else.
