I guess I say that because in the past I have had talks with Christians. On topics not religion and they may get angry and say I'm going to he'll b/c I'm an atheist. As if that had anything to do with the topic. It's like an out for them and an attack on me just to attack me.

well, i will try my best not to attack you as i said before, welcome to the site, i hope you find enjoyment in the people you'll come to know. i have a lot of non christian friends, not all of us are the type to cast out non believers and give them not so gentle nudges, that kinda defeats the purpose of showing that we're to be loving

I understand how you feel. I seen Christian people making others feel bad or judging. I hope there is not much of that here. You might be familiar with Biloxi or Gulfport, MS. I stayed there for about 6 years. Now I am on the other corner up in Oregon.

For me it was self evident that something can not come from nothing. It's the law of cause and effect. That's just the physical side of it. I don't think consciousness is needed in a world of "only the strong survive". Mere robot like programming would of been sufficient if not evan better for dealing with live and death situations. Why not just use logic in all decisions made. But that's not how humans are. Although we can be hateful to each other there is the other side where you just feel like being nice to a stranger with nothing expected back in return. I've heard all of the rebuttals used to answer these facts of our existence, I know I used to use them myself, but to me God and His creation is a much stronger arguement. But why can't you be good with out god? And the something from nothing arguement has been debunked look up krauss.
