The desert, eh? My stereotypical image of the desert is nothing but rocks and dust.
Is there any greenery where you are? I think I'd find it hard to live in a place which had no green grass and stuff around...Roll on knock-off time for your last shift.

I've never had either of those. We made homemade hamburgers for tea tonight, with some champagne ham lightly sizzled in butter and the rest of the trimmings. Cheaper and nicer than bought hamburgers.
