We pointed you to multiple verses that clearly show that killing is a sin. I showed you a verse in Proverbs that clearly says God hates those kill the innocent. You admitted that abortion is killing.

If God considers killing a sin, and he hates those who kill the innocent , and abortion is killing the innocent who have done nothing wrong, then it is logical to connect the dots and believe that God considers an act that kills innocent children to be a sin. The fact that you do not accept our interpretation of these verses does not mean that we have not provided them for you.

You are taking the truth of the Bible and twisting it to fit your own worldview, instead of twisting your worldview to fit the truth of Scripture. The Bible is very clear that those who do not love the truth are offended by it - so the fact that non Christians (and even some who call themselves Christians) are offended by our defense of the unborn should come as no surprise.

I will grant you that there is a small subset of very vocal Christians who do a disservice to the truth of God the way that they protest abortions. The Bible is very clear that we should take care of children, and those in need. I agree with you 100 percent that we are not doing enough to help mothers who would otherwise abort their children. Also, the vast majority of Christians do not support bombing abortion clinics. Surely you know this?

I saw this movie from a library. She was and abortion survivor.

How often do we hear "abortion survivor"?

I'm going to ignore all the name-calling and insults and address the core of your issue with my position - namely, that you think I am pulling phrases from scripture out of context and pasting them together to fit my agenda.

I am going to attempt to have a civil debate, but first I need to understand where you are coming from and what you believe.

You are absolutely correct. I agree.

Would you agree, then, with the opposite statement - namely that taking multiple sentences from all different parts of scripture and putting them together CAN run together as one doctrine IF the individual parts are taken in context?

JiJ, the name calling is getting old. It is an immature way to pretend to lord yourself over others. This is an edification board, not a debate board. Seriously, if you are unable to engage in civil discussion, there is no point in continuing.
