This morning Abba placed the song "WAKE UP LITTLE SUSIE" in my spirit..As I was considering the song lyrics, I heard Him say, "THE CHURCH OF PHILADELPHIA"

As many of you know, Papa has been speaking much to me in regards to the true church getting right with the Lord, awaking & taking her rightful place. This isn't a message for the USA, it's not a message to Canada or any specific country -- It's a message for the true saints of God to wake up, Arise & shine for our light is come! His light is about to shine on all who claim to be His. He is about to show us up for who we really are. Saints, I implore each one to run from pride & run from hidden sins, for His light is about to expose many things in the body of Christ. I sense to tell those of you who are seeking Him in spirit and truth to ask Papa to reveal to you any heart issues to you personally - Invite Him to do a work inside. This is necessary to rise up in these end days & enter your calling. We cannot fix ourselves, but we can submit & position ourselves before Abba and invite Him to do what needs to be done in our heart so we won't miss what He is doing in these end days. Let us prostrate our heart before Him, submit our will to His, ask Him to awaken every area to His purposes and shine His light on the hidden areas so we can deal with them now so judgement doesn't fall on us. We all have them. As we allow Him entry, He will do a great work and we will become the unblemished ones = A people without spot or wrinkle.. The world will say of us as we pass by, "There goes those people of light!"

This message for the church of Philadelphia burns continually in my heart while I myself endure a trying wilderness experience & much persecution. I feel as John the Baptist must've felt, "the voice of one crying in the wilderness" with the message of Jesus arrival - Only this is the message of Jesus impending return. We, the true body of Christ are being called to arise, wake up, trim our lamps, and walk into our calling to be a church without spot or wrinkle. The heavens are more active today than ever - As many have sensed, heaven is coming to earth - the spiritual and the physical are about to collide and although this is good for the true church who has been purged & refined, it will be terrifying for those who are not prepared or ready. Saints we must awaken and submit to Him.. It is through submitting and drawing close to Him that we will be saved from judgement or falling away into the great apostasy. Those who are not running after His heart in a close walk with Him will miss out & are in danger. I cannot stress how imperative it is that we draw near to God, in a personal one on one close relationship, not just having the appearance of one.
"Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded" - James 4:8

..Father continues to cause this message to burn on my lips.. "And he said unto them, He that has ears to hear, let him hear" Mark 4:9
God bless each reader.

Who Is The Church of Philadelphia?
Many believers fit into the Laodicean church category (lukewarm) in Revelations. There are some that are dead (Sardis) who have an outward appearance of being alive and very Christian; however, they wield no power and are spiritually dead.
The Lord wants us to ascribe to be like Philadelphia:
1.They have "a little strength ['dunamis' translated 'power']." Since this is meant as a tribute, we infer that He is talking about the power of godliness. Their possession of this power will set them apart from others in the Last Days who will have only the form of godliness (2 Tim 3:5). Through the Holy Spirit, who is the source of this power, they will exhibit a character antithetical to the character of false Christians. The terms describing them will be exact opposites of the terms Paul uses in 2 Timothy 3. Instead of being lovers of self, for example, they will be lovers of God. Yet even so, their strength will be little, no doubt in comparison with the church after Pentecost. Perhaps the Lord is suggesting also that this will not be a large church (they'll be the remnant & elect prior to raising up in full power)

2. Philadelphia will keep the Word of God. They will revere every word of it as inerrant truth. They will reject corrupt texts and versions. They will renounce hermeneutical approaches which belittle the supernatural. And they will study the Scriptures diligently as their rule of doctrine and practice.

3. Philadelphia will not deny the name of Christ. Under persecution, they will remain faithful to Him, and they will not demean His name by encouraging the unruly to believe that they can claim His salvation without submitting to His Lordship. In other words, they will live in the age of easy-believism, when many will use Christianity as a cloak for worldly and corrupt lives (sounds like right now!).
One quality not mentioned in the letter to Philadelphia must nevertheless be the most outstanding quality of this church, for the name Philadelphia means "brotherly love." Now the warning in James takes on added significance (James 5:8-9). "Grudging" here signifies absence of love. Let us therefore be diligent to make real and maintain our love for each other.
Despite the godly character of the Philadelphians, they will not be well-liked in the world. They will particularly suffer persecution from a synagogue of Satan (v. 9). It was an actual synagogue of Jews that persecuted the original church of Philadelphia. They were Jews by birth, but not Jews in God's sight, for they lacked a right relationship with God. Therefore, they had no right to consider themselves the people of God (Rom. 2:28-29). What is the synagogue of Satan that will trouble Philadelphia on the eve of Christ's return? The word "synagogue" just means "assembly." The assembly of Satan is evidently a church/people who consider themselves the people of God, but are self-deceived. In reality, they do the bidding of Satan. These false Christians will cast reproach on Philadelphia and hinder its work in every way possible, perhaps even calling it a deviant or cultic form of religion. But when the time of judgment arrives, the Lord will show His approval of Philadelphia by requiring all its detractors to bow down and kiss the feet of the saints they so viciously maligned.

I also refer readers to this end time vision of the Sleeping Giant whom the Lord is now trying to awaken: Tommy Hicks endtime prophecy

Some time ago the Lord began to speak to me using secular songs which He often has me translate using prophetic symbolism.. The song He gave me this morning is one of those:

Wake up, little Susie, wake up -- Susan means "grace" & God's grace is calling us to awaken
Wake up, little Susie, wake up
We’ve both been sound asleep,
wake up, little Susie, and weep
The movie’s over, -- God is showing us the 'big picture' (movie)
it’s four o’clock, -- It's time to take new territory (symbolized by the #4)
and we’re in trouble deep -- We're in danger
Wake up little Susie
Wake up little Susie

Whatta we gonna tell your mama -- mama: Holy spirit
Whatta we gonna tell your pa -- pa: Father God
Whatta we gonna tell our friends -- friends: the rest of the church body
when they say “ooh-la-la”
Wake up little Susie
Wake up little Susie, well

Told your mama you’d be in by ten -- Perfection of divine order/complete development (#10)
looks like we goofed again
Wake up little Susie
Wake up little Susie,
we gotta go home -- Home: the truth & calling of Israel to return to their homeland

..The movie wasn’t so hot, -- The big picture isn't pleasant
it didn’t have much of a plot -- His message is simple
We fell asleep, -- the body of Christ is sleeping
our goose is cooked, -- and we're in trouble
our reputation is shot -- the world is not impressed with our witness
Wake up little Susie -- We must wake up & become God's people of light
Wake up little Susie..

I actually posted a question in the eschatology forum a few days ago asking about WHO IS THE CHURCH OF PHILADELPHIA in the book of Revelations. Thank you for this explanation. It is a great reminder to those of us whom are asleep! WAKE UP!!! :) God bless, MastersPiece.

A few weeks ago I was asking God to wake me up...I was saying it over and over again because I knew I was not where I was suppose to be spiritually....since then I have been on a daily journey of discovering more and more.It almost feels as if I had been distracted by a field of flowers that puts one to sleep and I felt somewhat numb as I was asking to be woke up.

What you wrote here reminded me of something else the Lord showed me:
He showed me a clip of the people of God all being given pills to take. Some people when they took the pills WOKE UP .. and other people when they took the pills FELL ASLEEP.
He showed me the pills are symbolic of "something unpleasant we must endure in order to get well spiritually". I viewed the pills as trials and/or judgement from Father (Trials for those who are His and need refining / Judgement for those who are stubbornly adhering to their own ways). He is trying to bring people to Spiritual life, but those who rebel against His correction will fall asleep (apostasy).

God bless you as you come into more of His life on your spiritual journey with Abba.. it's exciting!

CONVEYING LIFE

This morning I recalled the words of someone who used to say, "It needs to have life." They had been trained and excelled in a certain area, then after their conversion they let go of the rules in their head and did their work "for the Lord" -- always trying to stay in tune with how He directed.

Sometimes that led them to do the opposite of what was considered fitting or excellent, but it broke through people's emotional barriers and legalism (secular and religious).

Having the life of God poured through your work might mean something different for each person, but it involves dying to self -- not doing it just to keep your job, get a promotion, establish social presence, network, profit, assert your opinion -- but to make an impact on people.

To get to their hearts.

Jesus raised up His disciples this way. He could have worked hard to surpass the Pharisees at what they did, but He chose not to take that route. He could have been known as a great philosopher. The most skilled physician. Being God, Jesus could have excelled at any career path or skill (beating Chuck Norris), but He chose to set His own course and address what needs He saw around Him.

Jesus chose actions of love instead of achievement. His time was short, and He used it well.

Thanks for your thoughts Parsley
Yes, dying to self is exactly what Papa is calling each of us to do.
If we don't judge ourselves, repent, and ask Him to change us, God will. It will be more pleasant if we submit to Him on our own rather than force Him to pull people from their pride & self proclaimed wisdom.

Well said Parsley. I was telling someone that very same thing just yesterday. This is a confirmation for me. I had no doubts about what I had said, but it is still nice to get confirmation. Thanks again Parsley for willingly being an instrument of God.

Thank you too MP. Good words for all and timely no matter what era it is.

God bless you as you come into more of His life on your spiritual journey with Abba.. it's exciting!

It is interesting that you were shown this and this confirms what has been revealed to me as well. I posted some of it on a thread in another forum but it scared someone and I got attacked. Do you mind if I repost some of it here. I will respect your ownership of your thread, that is why I am asking.

Funny how I see people sleeping in church, but they say they remember every word. I think that the lettter kills but the spirit gives life as scripture says.

Sounds like the WIzard of Oz. This movie has many occultic themes. The enemy uses everything he can get his fingers into for our harm.

I am so glad you are AWAKE dear sister. May God give you a quickening in wisdom, knowledge and understanding that you may help many find their way AWAY from the yellow brick road.

Can you explain or elaborate on this a little more?

This video solidified for me a concept that had previously been a bit slippery for me. The idea that God always IS has been resting in my heart for years. Now this is very profound, so watch it and meditate on what is being said and I believe tha the Holy Spirit will reveal some really deep understanding. I want to share it here where sisters and brothers are truly sold out to Jesus. And I want you all to visit the thread where the video was being discussed . People think it is about time travel, but it is not, it is deeper than that. With this in mind, here it is.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MregeKDaQcA

The thread is here.

That vid is very interesting, God is indeed timeless
He created time for US not for Him.
I've often pondered the scripture in Heb 6:6 ... how does one crucify Christ afresh? - perhaps in some way Jesus is constantly on the cross.. God is timeless.. who knows, it's just a thought to ponder
"If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame." - Heb 6:6 (kjv)
I think the Word is much more in depth and carries more hidden messages and revelation than anyone ever dreamed - And I believe these end days are the days Abba will open them up to us

Isa. 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

Did you read the posts in the thread I posted? Thinking if God's Omnipresence and Omniscience is very awesome to contemplate, to high for the unregenerate, but Christians can glimpse through a glass darkly right now, but later we will know fully as we are fully known. We are His body, hands, feet, everything, and we carry Him forth into the darkness for the light of His Spirit indwells us.

Yes I did read thru the thread.. not all of it, but made sure to check your posts out. You are so right in regards to omnipresence & omniscience and the glimpse we are permitted to have! He is the same yesterday today & forever... but people assume that we already know everything about Him when in reality we hardly know anything. There is nothing new to GOD, but there's plenty new to MAN when He unveils things that have been hidden from us. Unfortunately this very same thing seems to give people the excuse to take the word and run with it, teaching strange concocted things they dreamed up in their minds. This is becoming more prevalent in this day
"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines.." - Heb 13:8-9

There remains no more sacrifice because it was done once, for all, everything that was needed to completion. We can't crucify him again and again because everything is finished. That verse is confusingly used concerning backslidden people when really it is a wordy way of saying it is all complete. The previous 5 verses help set up the idea. I know this angle wasn't where you were coming from, but I just felt like mentioning that.

The Hebrews like to say that every word, every letter of God is a multi-faceted gem that, when looked at from different angles and light will show another "hidden" attribute not seen before...and isnt this so true! We can read the same passage 8 times, and each time the lord will reveal something new in it.

There is a daily devotional by Rick Renner you may have heard of called "sparkling gems from the Greek" that is an awesome example of this
