Ps 34:18 The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

Ps 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

I'm really comforted by the stuff where the bad guys are out to get the good guys who everyone thinks are the bad guys, but everyone who's bad pretends they are the good guys for benig better than everyone else.

I like seeing Jesus struggle because that means it is ok for me to struggle. he goes through pain and sadness too. heck, he was tempted by some serious stuff. like being tempted to worship satan even. imagine if I took that struggle in to any church.

I also feel a lot of comfort when Jesus is ticked right off and takes a stand. And he sticks up for people who everyone thinks are bad. And he doesn't make people feel stupid or bad for hurting.

TeaCat, you can pray to the Holy Spirit and ask him to overcome your heartbroken problem. You should always discuss all your problems with God and depend on him to see you through all your problems. The Holy Spirit is the one that do the work so you should pray to him (Genesis 1:1-3). When God first created the earth, he spoke the word and the Holy Spirit create the earth.

The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. (Psalm 34:18 KJV)

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. (Psalm 147:3 KJV)

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (Revelation 21:4 KJv)

I notice that you like to grumble about your suffering and complain. If you want your prayer to be heard, you should not say negative things but always thank God no matter in what circumstances.

You should stop saying negative things like stupid or vulgar words, or listen to secular music. Secular music and rock Christian music is of the devil and all who listen to them will go to Hell. I read this testimony from spiritlessons.com.

That's true, but it's not what those verses actually say.

Christ says "I HAVE overcome the world", not "I WILL overcome the world". In the world we have tribulation, but Christ has overcome the world, and we are in Christ. Therefore we overcome tribulation. We can expect hardship and heartbreak to come, but the idea that life is going to suck until you die, then you go to Heaven and it doesn't suck anymore really misses a major point of the Gospel: the Joy of the Lord is here for us NOW. The Peace of God is here for us NOW. If we don't have it, even though we face circumstances that take the smiles from our faces for a while, then we're not living in the fullness of life offered to us by Christ. And we're also not living out an important part of the Great Commission, which is offering that to the rest of the world.

Jeremiah 29:11 gives me immense HOPE
