They are still a human that is right, but they are also a pastor who have a mission and we all know the mission of Jesus that made him to pray for others, but what about the common people like me, is it possible to keep this flame in the will and thus pray for others a sincere prayer? and how?
Thanks for the reply and if I am understanding your reply correctly, let me say this. First of all, after looking through some of the word, here is what I found that I think fits your situation/question/statement most appropriately.
Psalms 102:17 says; "He shall regard the prayer of the destitute, And shall not despise their prayer."
Here is my thing and allow me to make this more common or relevant if you will.
On my job, I have a supervisor who is also a Pastor. I did not know this until some months later but here is my point. I am by no means a pastor or someone that places myself in high esteem over all others. But at one point, this guy makes an issues with our director against me and I caught him in the situation where I showed him how he was being judgmental and even my director saw where his points were not totally valid. Even still, for months later, he continued to purposely mistreat me, not talk to me, only approach me regarding work and then was short when he had to speak. He even went on to make it a point to to speak to me in a way that was as if he needed to show his authority in the process.
Now, on top of all of this, I have a daughter (19) that has her own struggles my wife and I are trying to help her with, family drama, marital stress (at that time) and just personal things period on and off. That's life. Point; I was not at my best plus dealing with all that at work and yet I found time to pray for him in spite of my personal feelings. I could have very well easily been like dude ____ him. Yeah, you fill in the blank. Again I am a Christian, but even I have my struggles and short comings, but instead, I took the high road and stayed the course and today, he is now more back to the way it began regarding a relationship and on much better terms.
Secondly, whether you are a pastor, a common day to day person, or even a sinner, it is never a bad time to pray and no one is never too much to pray for. As for how to pray, just as you would speak your mind to a person you can see, speak from the heart just as you would with that person but with God. And if you do not know what to say, remember this scripture...
Romans 8:26
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
And then, if all else fails, you can always go back to the following...
Matthew 6:5-15
This scripture reference not only talks about Prayer; Matthew 6:9-14, but it also talks about forgiveness in that as well.
I hope that is a more personal approach even in using myself to say what I hope you understand as well as on prayer or how to pray. If you need anything, you can always reply away and I'll try to give an appropriate answer.
