I don't know, at times I've thought so, at times I definitely believed him to be. I am not so certain now. I still have a good regard for Jesus but it is not because of the bible, I do not like the bible.

As a Christian I would have to know you before I could tell you what I think of you.
If you were a schmuck I probably wouldn't want to keep company with you, though I would still love you as a member of the human race.
If you were a nice person then I would want to keep company with you and forge a friendship.

I asked an atheist the very same thing, he yelled it out in his apartment. Got back and said "I don't believe it". The problem was I never said anything about believing it; I only said say it.

Why do you think; he had a need to say that?

I don't want to take advantage of your kind gesture and go into a long rant about how terrifying the bible is, that wouldn't be very fair to you, so in returning the same favor to you... I appreciate your concern but the bible is not for me.
