Ok so in this dream I was attending my normal congregation which normally runs about 10-20 strong, very very small. Well the Pastor told us he was disbanding the congregation and we should join another fellowship elsewhere to continue to grow in grace. So me and the Pastor (and our families) went to attend a local AG church that we had both been in before. Well as we are sitting in a service, the subject of Benny Hinn comes up and if his ministry was legit or false. Well right about the time we end discussing this, the sanctuary grows out and Benny Hinn and 3 other gentleman walk out of a door where the baptistry used to be. He just stands the with his arms folded in front of him as we all whisper that he was in the church. Right at that time the church splits in two, the half that Hinn is one transforms into a battleship while the half the church was on became like a cruiseship. Hinn's ship fired 4 missiles at us and our ship exploded violently, but right as we exploded so did Hinn's ship. Miracuously some of us survived the explosion and there were people nearby who grabbed Benny Hinn and began to beat him mercilessly for what he had done. I don't remember anymore after that.

*CORRECTION* Just as an update to this, I do remember waking up at exaclty 3 am this morning (the morning I had this dream) and I knew God wanted me to pray so I asked Him what He was trying to say to me, then fell asleep and began to have this dream. I also remember coming to Hinn's aid right at the end along with my Pastor and a few others.

I believe your dream is a forewarning of a large rift between those who believe in the gifts of God (healing, speaking in tongues, dreams/visions, miracles etc) and the worldly Christians who do not believe in the spiritual gifts which will result in an explosive ending or huge impact on the body of Christ. The ships symbolize types of ministries.. Battleships usually symbolize warfare, and a cruise-ship here I believe symbolizes those who are "along for the ride".. they are Christians but they aren't very deep.

I had a prophetic dream about this a few months ago with Christian soldiers shooting at one another. I feel this is a warning that those who enter into large arguments about it and try to judge one another will come to spiritual harm/hurt and possibly destruction. God's judgement is coming to the church body (all Christians) and is already begun.. Justice will be met out.

Not so long ago I heard a teaching by Paul Keith Davis and John Paul Jackson in which the Lord had shown them a large confrontation in the body of Christ is coming in regards to bickering back and forth about spiritual giftings. Worldly Christians will claim giftings are of the flesh & satan.. and Charismatic Christians will defend themselves -- this has the potential to develop into a heated fight. It is important that we who believe in the gifts of Holy Spirit turn the other cheek and not agitate the situation more. This is a lesson I've been learning myself! - God will fight for Himself and He will defend us - All in His time. He has shown me that Christians who attack His anointed will eventually have to humble themselves before the very one's they've attacked. Those of us who are attacked in the meantime must wait on the Lord and ignore the attackers, trusting God will bring justice in His time.

Interesting how the Lord used Benny Hinn here, as there are indeed many who say he is fake and not of the Lord - they say the miracles God does thru him are fake and accuse him of many things. I've never been a huge Benny Hinn fan myself for certain reasons and he is not perfect by any merit, but I don't deny that the Lord uses him to work His miracles. I sense your dream is symbolic as mentioned above to sort the chaff from the wheat. It may also be 2-fold in that it might be literal as well.
Thanks for sharing what the Lord showed you SoldieroftheCross

A very interesting dream. It looks like controversy envelops the church, which is split. There is a lot of disruption going on anyway, as evidenced by the first church disbanding, but now the church splits with animosity into two distinct camps. When we fight ourselves we lose our witness, and the next casualty is evangelism and souls saved, as is seen here by the baptistery being eliminated.
One ship is too aggressive, the other too lax. Both are fleshly, and rely on their own strength rather than the spiritual armaments provided for us.
But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another. -Gal 5:15

I have a funny inclination about this dream... I think there's a positive aspect to this dream which I missed previously..

Here's why: There were 4 missiles shot at those who aren't die hard believers in healing & gifts. Biblically the #4 symbolizes ruler-ship & taking new land. I believe that after a time of battle, the explosions represent "an explosion of growth" which is why both ships exploded at practically the same time. A pastor often represents God Himself in dreams. Hinn's side (representing God's gifts & healings etc) will take new ground - God will move many on the side of non belief in the awesome workings of God over to being sold out & not caring how they look (sometimes we look silly when we operate in the gifts). I believe there will be a sudden growth "explosion" in the charismatic realms, however there will be those who do not come over.. there will be some left who will viciously attack the Spirit filled believers (beating Benny Hinn)..
This is so interesting... I had totally missed it in regards to the scriptural meaning of that #4

If you get a chance, skim part of this article.

Religion and Fascism

In the dream, Hinn had a disputed but strong position in the church. He fired at the congregation -- attacking and endangering what he claimed to lead and protect.

Arms folded -- usually a stubborn position. Or determination that he needed to do nothing more, but wait for things to play out. Large and in charge.

He -- or what he symbolized -- exploded in rage and retaliation. This entity cared more about being right, and powerful, than protecting what is good within the Body of Christ. And he went down with the ship.

I have watched pastors react this way when churches grow too quickly, or members take on so much leadership that the pastor feels s/he is losing control. They make a sudden move to declare who is in charge, and that crushes so many people that a split ensues, people leave damaged, and the pastor ends up resigning because it has all fallen apart. Or gets fired.

In those situations, I am always amazed that a pastor can get to the point of resenting certain members so much that they speak and act against them. But it can be a matter of losing patience, or not reaching successful mediation, trying to keep doctrine stable, or managing their own stress and health.

When things grow out of control, they inevitably shoot themselves in the foot.

I have my own opinions about Hinn, but guess that this represents either a local church, or Christendom as a whole. Look at all that's going on -- the nomination of a new pope, discussion on where the megachurch trend is heading, proposals to remove US non-profit deductions, global political efforts to create harmonizing solutions for opposing religious group fervor.

What stands out to me in this dream, is that no one won. No church member benefited, no leader claimed success. Everyone fell, and some got up. Maybe the ones who took the easier path survived fine, but the cruise ship might have had its own costly expenses. Like gaining the whole world, but losing one's soul. Is that how it seemed in the dream, or were they in a well-protected place? Still, the church seemed fairly well destroyed.

The other thing that stands out, is that everyone discerned something was wrong or questionable, but they were afraid to act on it. The discernment wasn't quite a reality to them, but more of a topic of conversation. Something to bond or divide over.

They probably had beliefs that caution and respect were important; that hunches shouldn't be lunged after; that leaders should be honored (Hinn's favorite verse, "do not touch God's anointed prophets"). And all this talk got them nowhere.

What a disturbing dream! What do you think of it?

I can see your point.
The crossing of arms may symbolize inaction as well = not doing anything (arms are used to reach out) thus the sudden explosive growth of belief in the extravagant gifts of God may be totally sovereign, not a result of the actions of man.
Just one take on it.
There's a couple ways this dream can be interp'd

I saw a comment once under a youtube video about Benny Hinn

They referred to it as "Christianity WWE".....because Benny would touch like 10 people and they would all fall down in the same way...and it seemed pretty unneccesary too he even said in a laughing manner "Oh I'll just do it one more time" and they fell again..
And for those that didnt get the WWE reference...the correlation was about how a lot of the wrestling in the WWE is staged and fake

Anyways I haven't researched too much into Benny or his ministries...so I can't make an accurate judgement call other than comment on his theatrical falling down when he touches people's foreheads thing...

And as to the 3 am thing:

Not sure how true/ accurate this is, but what I've heard is that Jesus was crucified at 3pm, so the farthest or most opposite from that is 3am...some people call 3am the 'devil's hour'... anyways not sure if this is even biblical but yeah

The "4" angle is interesting. Hinn came out with three companions as well. There might be something in that, but the straight interpretive symbols seem to be overwhelming, and I would need something more to override them. What's lacking here is feedback from OP as to any sense regarding what was going on.

Oh! Oh my. Isn't it so much like God to give you a heads-up right before you needed to react! May God continue to guide all your parishioners, and the people making decisions about the building. So sorry to hear that.

This might be a good time to offer your home for meetings of small groups that want to worship, and help each other recover.

When Jesus' friend Lazarus died, He told Lazarus to stand up on his own. Then He told the friends to unwrap the bandages. We need to serve each other for unwrapping the bandages and tending the wounds.

People see this story as a combination of tender grief and love, with miraculous power. Jesus did not run to heal him right away, because a greater purpose needed to be accomplished. In church splits, there are often greater purposes. God is always with you, and continues to be with each member as they head to their next destinations.

Be careful to remember that judging others and condemning them is God's job. In saying that we must not be lead astray like sheep, we have to test for legitimacy and not follow those who try to contradict His word.

?

Ok so another update to this, I took this as God telling me to go to that AG church referenced in the dream. So I have started going and last Sunday my Pastor from the first church in the dream that had disbanded showed up in services. So that portion of this dream was fulfilled as well. I think now Benny Hinn represents heretical teaching. Reason being is many people think negatively of the man and his teaching, almost to the point of heresy. Last Sunday, when my other Pastor was in service, the AG Pastor said he had been confronted about some errors in the church and was wanting to rededicate the building and congregation to God. So we prayed and I really feel like the church going to grow from this.

So you're basing a dream interpretation on people's opinion of BH? I don't think I would because any person with a large ministry is criticized a lot. The bigger it is, the more negative comments are made. Sometimes people will say I want G_d is use me in a big way. It is part of the package. It's a price some are willing to pay but some just don't know what they're asking. Have you seen some of the debates on these forums concerning some folks who were in ministry decades ago? I mean their mistakes continue to be pointed out with great vigor even now.

Hopefully the church has a new, fresh beginning in the Lord.
