Kick all the Muslims out of Bethlehem and Nazareth and lets the Christians have it. Make Jerusalem an international city so that all 3 religion have equal access to it.
Then split the rest between the Jews and Palestinians.

You're.....not being serious, I assume?

No, it doesn't. It left the Waqf responsible for the running of the Temple Mount after the re-unification of Jerusalem in 1967.

Yeah...thanks a bunch Moshe Dayan , not one of your better moves.

Where is a bulldozer when you need one!

All three religions already have equal access to it.

Idea......How about letting the nation of Israel rule their own land without outsiders trying to give them the benefit of their wisdom....or if people really feel the overwhelming notion to play G-d, perhaps they could try helping Assad get a grip.

Very well said. As an end result of the Battle of Ar Mageddon, Jerusalem (and the Holy Land?) will be split three ways. Why not do it now and save all the fighting?

But if the scriptures say we have to have the Battle of Ar Mageddon, surely we have to have it? Because if we didn't have it, the scriptures would be wrong? Right?

You are right of course. Another result is that the satanic beast of the Revelation will be so soundly defeated, it will not be heard from again for a thousand years.

Sad to say, but as long as religion is involved, there may never be peace in the middle east. Either that, or children have to be raised to be more tolerant, or even better, more accepting of others. Muslims don't hate Jews because of Israel. They hate Israel because of Jews.

Take a look at western countries. We have religion too, but we are more secular than nations in the middle east, and prople here are more willing to evolve and adapt to new cultures and rules.

Israel has the nuclear capacity to wipe out any country in the middle east, but they are compassionate enough not to use it. But every time Hamas gets their hands on even one missle, they shoot it right into Israel. Does that sound like a group who wants peace? An then people call Israel terrorists for sendimg even a few missles back in retaliation. That's why the United States provided Israel the missle defence syatem for their protection. Israel DOES have a right to exist, and unless it's surounding nations realize that, there wont be peace
Hope that helps.

 Yep that about sums up my understanding.

If Israel will not let the Palestinians have a 3rd of the city.
If Israel will not let the Palestinians have statehood.
Then maybe Israel should add a crescent moon to their flag next to the star of David.
It may make Israel a less tempting target.

Maybe you should sit in the Knesset and advise their government?

Everyone seems to have an idea of what the Israelis should do in their own land...so forgive them if they just get on a do what they feel is right for their own country.

I agree, as long as these disputes over land and religion continue their will never be peace. Islamism is the most violent religion there is, not to say that all practice it in the extreme manner but it is those extremists that have caused great havoc throughout the world. The salfasits, whabbists who want the return of the Islamic caliphate will use any means necessary to achieve those goals. I worry too about the tensions between Iran and Israel...Israel has been itching to pull the trigger on them for a long time...that would have drastic consequences.

First one has to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
To do that you may need to look at the Jerusalem issue.
Jerusalem has 3 holy sites for 3 different religions.

Do you give the city to the UN?

Do you give a parts of the city to 3 different countries?

I'm not sure but I don't think the Palestinians want Jerusalem as much as they just want some territory, any territory that they presently occupy, of their own. This is something I absolutely advocate.

Looking at the history of the Palestinians, why do you think they deserve to get a State from out of the land of Israel...instead of accepting Israel as their country and owning land from within?

I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them," says the LORD your God.

Amos 9:15

:)

:amen:....Can't get more specific than that...it didn't happen in the past, and can only be a reference to the present age.....but people don't like the idea that Israel is not what they expected, and that G-d used ungodly men in His plans, or even that Israel are still unsaved.

What has happened is that there have been selective teachings regarding the prophecies to do with Israel...but many things have been over-looked and misunderstood...yes Israel will be as described, but not yet, all this is preparation for His plans with His people, to bring them to Himself.

It is very much in line with what happened to many Jews, who to this day only see the triumphant victorious Messiah, and have not understood the forsaken Saviour who dies for the sins of the world...the Passover Lamb.

The Palestinians, like the Jews, want Jerusalem to be their capital.
