i simply DON'T want to read the Bible

God I pray his life improves from all angles.

I know how hard it can be.

Just a thought. You might want to check the symptoms of attention deficit syndrome on the net. You may not have it, but sometimes some of your posts have made me wonder. I have it myself.

Some of the characteristics include inability to stick with "nonpreferred" tasks, but hyperfocus on things that are really liked.

Just in case you have the symptoms, you might want to check out some of Dr. Daniel Amen's (a psychiatrist who has done over 60,000 brain scans) Youtube vids & books on that topic. It's a thought.

Praying Messiah will lead you to whatever action is right for your personally.

I have found that reading it outloud really helps. Try it anyway and insist on pushing past the strong urges to quit. Because you will start to get a new perspective on things, and your crappy feelings will begin to change, it really is the only way God is going to get you out of your mess.

P.S. And you can just listen to the Word. You can get free audios online, even. "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of YHWH" aka God. Let it wash over you while you do other things, like driving for example. Some will soak in and you will get blessings and more strength.
